You guys stole my heart from Dominos pizza especially with your door busting prices! I ordered a large bacon pizza, with wings(which came with fries), and a 2-liter was around $ 20! The wings were fantastic, as for the pizza it was nice and crunchy! The only down fall is the parking but i guess if you order for delivery you won’t experience that problem. Definitely will be doing more business with you guys in the near future. Keep up the good work.

Delivery girl was very nasty she saw me having a hard time with the steps when I told her I need her to bring the food up she flat out said no very rude and walked away after getting a 10.00 tip you can’t bring the food up. The owner just called and apologized to me so I’m giving it 4 stars now the pizza was good and I’ll be trying the rest later on. Well hate to say the food I got food poisoning on was sick for 3 days lastnight was in emergency room from being so sick I fainted

Missing drink on order… took long over an hour to get the food on a slow weekday. Mozzarella and tomato Caprese appetizer was nothing like the description. No basil at all, they gave me chopped bits of lettuce instead and a pre-packaged balsamic«dressing» pouch. Both regular fries and sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. Mozzarella sticks were cold and hard on the inside – clearly frozen or old because the breading crumbled and fell off the second you picked it up. Marinara sauce actually tasted like water. I have never had marinara sauce so watery and tasteless in my life. Chicken Caesar wrap was not good as well – completely flavorless, let alone it was all wrap and barely anything inside. We are usually not picky with our food. It takes A LOT to write a bad review. Yes, prices are cheap. Only reason why I gave two stars instead of one… but it’s not even worth that price. Don’t waste your money and time.

I heard about turtles from my sister who suggested I check it out. I moved to Hackensack making them extremely convenient for me, so I gave their pizza a shot and never looked back. I do not know much about the other food they have on the menu(the garlic knots are… kinda bland) but the pizza is very solid. I have ordered from a bunch of other places that are near the area and none of them have been as good as turtles). But what about the price??? The pizza is good and RIDICULOUSLY cheap! If you are looking for a high end slice this may not be for you, but if you’re an NJ/NY fold a slice type of person its great. The pies are thin and the cheese and sauce are good(borderline phenomenal when you consider what you paid for it). I order delivery and the guys are always prompt and friendly. This is my go to pizza spot!

I refuse to spend another dollar in this place after my last experience a month ago… This isn’t pizza it’s bargain pie and food. You get what you pay for I suggest buying a frozen pie they are better and cheaper!

Would be my choice if really drunk, and poor. No clue how they do a pizza for so cheap but it’s not terrible.

I used to order white pizza here almost weekly! A side order of wings always hit the spot. The wings are delicious and the pizza is always fresh and DOESNOT taste like cardboard. I love this place, you guys rock.

Ive had Turtles food twice now. First time i ordered a sandwich, didnt have any complaints but it wasnt anything great or memorable. After my second time im sure i wont be having it again. Paid $ 12 for a large cheese pie with one topping thinking that it would be a specialty pizza since it was called«Eggplant parm» the pizza was okay when i first tried it but after a few bites it got gross quickly. Sauce was terribke and cheese overpowered the taste of anything else, but it wasnt even good cheese. It wasnt all bad though motzarella sticks were good and delivery was fast. Oh yeah and the fries sucked. Would never ever order again SAVINGYOUFROMMAKING A MISTAKEDONTORDERHERE !!!

So living in a town dominated by pizza places and italian restaurants I have become some what of an expert, I would have to say. They offer a inexpensive pie, I think about $ 6.99? I recently discovered that they have a lot more to offer here then just their cheap pies. The pies are tasty I think they could improve the quality of their ingredients though. I just get the feeling that they aren’t top of the line. Anyways, the food is good, I did also enjoy their Buffalo wings as well. All in all foods ok not sure if they will be my to go to pizza spot though. They are great for parties though!

I’ve ordered twice online(it’s a great service to have IMO) and I have not had a bad experience with either order. My food arrived quickly and the prices, truly cannot be beat. I’ve tried their margarita pizza along with their caprese salad and the tuscan grilled chicken wrap(a little greasy for my tastes, but tasty none the less). Prices alone, I’ve dropped my other pizza place closer to me because it’s cheaper

On my quest to try new local pizza I ventured out to here. The mixed reviews stirred up my curiosity. Also the fact that a pie was $ 6.99 and a Unilocal check in got me free fries and mozzarella, how could I go wrong? Well I called in my order and saw a review by my Unilocal friend Christina S. She said she had some issues with the Unilocal check in so I made sure to mention this over the phone. Their response was«SOYOUWANTTWOLARGEPIES???» I said no, one large pie. So I wasn’t sure if I was going to get my Unilocal deal. But then when I got there they had my fries and mozzarella sticks. Obviously they heard me. I think it’s safe to say they were kind of f**king with me a little bit. Whatever my phone was being screwy with the check in and they gave me my food without argument. The place is small and kind of skeezed me out a bit. Kind of a grungy vibe. But then again there are a lot of places like this in Northern New Jersey. Didn’t seem like the cleanliest shop but I’m no health inspector so I can’t make that judgement. Did see one lone, tiny ant but that’s about it. If I saw an excessive amount it would have been a different story. I’m not squeamish when it comes to insects. I don’t make stuff like this up as I have no reason to. Was going to refrain from bringing this up but I felt like I needed too. Now onto the food. Pizza wasn’t bad. It had it’s charm to it. Cheap Pizza kind of has a place in my heart for some odd reason so there were no complaints there. Mozzarella sticks were also tasty. Only thing I didn’t like were the fries. They were soggy but free so no real love lost. Food was pretty adequate. The price was right for what I got. Pretty good deal for a plain pie. I give this place 3.5 stars. It’s cheap but felt the customer service was a little awkward. Might be a good choice if you are low on dough(in more ways than one hahaha), or have to get a bunch of pies for a party and concerned more about quantity than quality. But like I said cheap pizza has it’s charm so I may stop in for a pie once in a while. If I had to pay normal price I think I would feel different but being inexpensive is draw.

Very disappointed with the customer service we received tonight. After placing an order for pick up we were told to come 10 – 15 min. When we got there(exactly 14 min according to my phone) the 2 boys at the counter questioned my husband and looked at him like he was crazy. They told him they gave the pizza away and didn’t get any other orders. Both guys were rude and not even apologetic about it either. They just stood there with a «too bad» mannerism and reaction in their face. It’s one thing to be sorry but when you are rude to your customers and don’t care that’s just wrong! I guess they charge their pizza for cheap because it comes with the worst customer service ever! We declined to replace the order and went to Donnagio’s down the street instead where they treated us like family.

So apart from this place being crazy reasonable with its prices it has a great range of food, and trust me on this as i have tried most of the food they have from cheese fries and cheese steaks to sausage sandwiches and chicken parm sandwiches and if course the pizzas! Everything that i order arrives on time and hot and when i drop by the store the staff is friendly and fast ‚ So to sum this review up i would recommend this place to others in a heartbeat and i will definitely be coming back here again and placing orders!

So after my last delivery from Turtle’s I was contacted by the owner. He was more then happy to take care of me and my recent order. We ended up getting an extra cheese pizza with half pepperoni. Honestly it was very good, just the right amount of cheese. We also got an order of the buffalo wings with fries. They were great as well. They aren’t the saucy kind of wings but more like fried chicken, but great none the less. I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu in the future! Thanks Mike for having me try this place again and seeing what you guys can offer!

So originally, this place started out charging $ 5 flat for their plain pies. Over time, it went up to $ 5.99 and now it’s $ 6.99. This place makes no sense because half a pie of a topping is the same exact price for a pie with the whole pie, very strange concept. I don’t like being lied to telling me my pies are ready when you’re clearly still working on them. I can tell there busy so I let it go. One nice feature is when you check in you get free mozzarella sticks and french fries worth $ 5. The gentleman at the counter, after I showed him my check in to receive my free food, he says to me «you should’ve told us about this when you originally called in your order» clearly I don’t think he understands the concept of «check-in». If I knew, of course I would’ve told him, but I didn’t… Pizza is ok but nothing amazing.

I Just Love Everything about Turtles Pizza. First of All The Pizza is Absolutely Delicious. I Have Ordered The Eggplant Rolentini Several Times it is alway Fresh and Always Delicious. The Skin Left on The Eggplant, but don’t let that prevent you from trying it. I Peel the Skin Off because it’s That Good. We Have Also Ordered the Italian Salad with Roasted Pepper, Mozzarella, and More. The Salad is Fabulous. The Other Wonderful Thing About Turtles is the Customer Service. It is so Nice to Speak to Pleasant, Happy People That Aim to Please and are Happy to do it. This is a Rare Thing to Find. Turtles Pizza Will Not Disappoint and They Deliver.

Turtle’s Pizza is a great local eatery. Their pizza is of a very high quality and is easily the best value around. They sell plain large pizzas for $ 6, which is literally less than a dollar a slice– prices lower than you’d find in Brooklyn, where there’s a pizzeria on every corner. My favorite item is their buffalo chicken pizza, which is only 12 dollars. They take their time deep-frying the the chicken to ensure that it is crunchy and savory, then they lace the pizza with hot sauce and blue cheese. Mmmm, I’m thinking of ordering one now. They have added several items to their menu recently, including burgers, wings, salads and more, all of which I have tried and found to be superb. I would recommend this pizzeria to anyone from this area– not only because it is a great value, but also because I believe they use high quality ingredients to make a good pizza.

People say this place has gone down hill, but I just ordered a few plain pies from here recently and they tasted just as good as the first time I ate pizza from here 2 years ago. $ 5.99 for a pie — no one else can compete with that price.

When you can get three pizza pies for 6 people, for under $ 20 and the crust is crisp, the sauce is not super sweet and the cheese is… melty, you should not complain I’ve eaten here quite a few times, it’s not Neapolitan pizza from Naples, but it is okay. I came here once, ordered 3 slices, there were six 2 hour old slices, he asked if we wanted to wait for a fresh pie, we said no, so he gave us all 6. Not bad in my book. It’s just pizza, not open heart surgery
