How are you going to be sold out of your product? That’s like burger King not having any burgers.

Always fresh donuts. I like that the open early so I can get there on the way to work. I asked them once what time they started making donuts in the morning and they told me 2:30 am! I am surely glad it is them and not me getting up that early! Great place and a Lodi treasure. On a side note… coffee is just average but across the street is House of Coffee which is the best coffee shop in town. So same corner two stops shopping!

Very rude customer service based on the fact that I am homeless. This lady first of all bags my donuts assuming that I’m not a dine in customer and then proceeded to counterfeit pen check my $ 1 bills. How fucking dumb can one be??? IF I COULDCOUNTERFEITMOEL I WOULDN’T BEHOMELESSYOUMORON. Not to mention at a $ 1 for one maple bar that is small in comparison to Express Donuts the price is too high. 85cents at express donut for a better, more filling and cheaper donut, with an appreciation for their customers. SORRYFORCHEATINGEXPRESSDONTNEVERAGAIN.

As another reviewer stated, there is nothing remarkable about this doughnut shop, save for the day old doughnuts, which are a good buy at $ 2.25 per paper plate, cellophane wrapped. The coffee is not bad, but certainly not in competition with Starbucks one block away or the private coffee shop across the way. Perhaps if the owners could serve better coffee, business would increase, but I just do not know.

Village Donuts is the definition of donut mediocrity. Not a very good value here either. Your best bet in coming here is to get a plate of day-old donuts that they have sitting around. Super cheap and the fact that they’re old doesn’t really diminish the flavor. Overall, just aight.

Intended to celebrate National Donut Day here… … except that an act of Vandalism resulted in the destruction of the front door to Village Donut, which was replaced by Plywood Sheets. A sign stated that the business would not re-open until the Door was replaced /fixed.(Hate Crime in Lodi?) What is National Donut Day?( )
