Walgreens

Drive thru pharmacy won’t help you with over the counter medicines. They have them and you don’t need a prescription. Why not sell it? I’m not taking about the sinus meds or any of the stuff they track, just basic stuff. Disappointing.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. I have been going here for years all along being satisfied but the past several months have proven to be a horror story… Not long ago I saw my Dr. and he prescribed me medication of which he called it in while I was at his office, later that day I went to pick it up, Walgreen’s said they did not have an order for me from my Dr., so i drove back home and went back the next morning (25 miles one way) only to be told again the same story, again I drove back home and called my Dr. of which he told me he phoned the script in the day before while I was still in his office… an hour later a Nurse from my Dr.‘s office called me and said that my order was ready at Walgreen’s, I asked «For sure?», «Yes» the Nurse said «I just got off the phone with Walgreen’s and it is ready», so I drive back to Walgreen’s only to be told they do not have anything on file for me…&*%*$^%*…Hmmmph, drove back home and later the Dr.‘s office phone to make sure everything was o.k., «NO, it is not O.K.» was my response and explained the reason why… the Nurse said she would have the Dr. call me. The Dr. phoned me 15 minutes later and said he called the order in yesterday and had his Nurse call it back in today and he even called Walgreen’s to make sure the order was in… the Dr. stated something as of late is askew with Walgreen’s and doesn’t know how this could be so botched up but assured me the order is in and ready so I drove back to Walgreen’s and they could not find the order… at this point it was hard to hold my composure but did… several minutes later they said they found the order and it would be ready in 15 minutes, without an apology.
Today’s date I get a phone call from Walgreen’s on my business number which I found odd as I have always used my cell phone with them, the person on the other line (from Walgreen’s) said my prescription is ready for pick up???, «What prescription…“The one called in by Dr. _______…again, ?. „What is the prescription…“Amblianagationorsomethingoranot­her“…“Huh…what’s it for…“Anxiety»…“I do not have a prescription for that”…“Sir!, we would not be calling you if you did not have a prescription”…while speaking with the person I looked at the caller ID and it said WALGREENS… so I drive back to Walgreen’s, walk in, wait in the cattle line for 10 minutes only to be told they do not have a prescription for me for anything, after going around several minutes and getting nowhere I just walked out before I blew a gasket and drove back home.
I highly recommend not going to this Pharmacy unless you want undo stress added to your life.

dropped off prescription for later pick up, … came back when I was told it would be ready… the dental staff had omitted the quantity, so Walgreens could not dispense (fair enough), they said they had called the dentist but the office was closed. this was not true because by the time I returned home, the dentist’s office staff called to say they had caught the error and had corrected it w/​the pharmacy. they suggested I call Walgreens to be sure they had filled the prescription before I returned. I did call and was on hold for 26 minutes. I decided to go to the pharmacy while leaving my husband to tend to the call for assistance on a speaker phone… when I picked up my prescription, I called home to find I was still on hold w/​Walgreens… I can see that they are busy. they are understaffed @ peak hours and they are struggling to accommodate customers. hopefully when the new Walmart opens, customer traffic will flow there and Walgreens staffing problems will be appropriately corrected by the competition

So I live around the neighborhood so I tend to run to Walgreen a lot. The store is pretty awesome now that it’s open 24 hour, it’s even better. However the old lady that runs the front cash register is incredibly slow. Not just slow. Crazy crazy slow. Or how about really precise with the scan codes and the plastic bag. She went to open it stopped wet her finger on the sponge then went back to open the next bag. Then reached in and widening the bag with both hands. Friday nite prime time like 7 pm. She is the only cashier. Absolutely crazy. She is seriously like 80 years old. Which congrats on being out there at 80 yrs old, but why is she the only cashier when she should be at home or doing whatever old people do. Bingo?

Spilled my contact solution all over my husbands medication and this place had a refill for us from our Clovis store in 15 minutes!

Not impressed. Stopped here to get a prescription of antibiotics and pain medication for my son who just had surgery. The wait was 30 minutes to get it filled. He was not able to stand on his own so I took him home and returned for the meds. Wait was ridiculous and I had 5 people waiting behind me by the time I was called. I was also advised they don’t take my insurance so I paid full price for everything. Customer service tip: You might want to at least ask the customer about insurance before you take the prescription. I won’t come back here.

I’ve worked at this store for 14 years and as much negative comments that are on here, there are good comments as well. There have been many wonderful changes and this store is going to grow even more. We have great customer service with wonderful employees. We are open 24 hours which makes things even better. Come on in and enjoy getting your last minute things with great customer service.

I have always used Safeway pharmacy but have been told by many friends that Walgreens is so great. I called Walgreens pharmacy today to see if my prescription was ready to be picked up and the first time I called I was on hold for 10 minutes and decided to hang up and call back again later cuz I figured they were really busy. 20 minutes later I called and was on hold for 9 minutes and someone FINALLY answered and he didn’t even apologize for the wait. I understand it’s a Friday evening, but someone could’ve at least pick up the phone and ask me to hold and that they would be right with me. Hopefully the face to face customer service is a lot better.

This comes after years of being a faithful, watchful, customer of Walgreens! This company is a total rip-​off! They are charging stupidly ridiculous prices for the prescription meds! I have a condition that it is absolutely imperative that it be treated. The meds that I get cost only $ 25 per pill last week. I went in their today and the meds had jumped to $ 40. This is a dirty shame. I am changing to CVS!

WALGREENS PHARMACY REVIEW… What is going on here? Inaccurate!
My prescription refills have been filled inaccurately and the instructions were listed wrong on the bottle as well. I have had problems here for months now. I’m so disappointed. It is actually very dangerous to get this wrong, Walgreens!
To all who use this Walgreens Pharmacy… Be sure to double check your prescription when picking it up at Walgreens. Your health depends on it.
Also, to the employees at the pharmacy counter… Please treat your customers with respect. It’s not our fault that you got our prescription wrong. We’re just bringing it to your attention. Stop with the «attitude». Have some respect and pay attention. Get the job done right. Our lives depend on it!

Being an old f… t, along with most of the patros of this Walgreens store, I have to comment on how fortunate it is to have this drug store within walking distance of our home. The pharmacy is efficient and customer service oriented, and the rest of the staff is friendly, too.
Their prices are a little high, but, then, I do not have to drive to obtain my prescriptions or sundry items. Thank you, Walgreens…

Typical Walgreens – a wide variety of items yet limited in selection, all neatly crammed into short aisles in a small area. Decent sales and their new Balance Rewards card is a step in the right direction, but why is there always only one or (rarely) two cashiers available? Easy access and nice parking lot. The Drive-​Thru pharmacy is pretty cool if there are no other cars in line.

Well, Walgreens in Lodi, Ca. has no concern for those with handicaps, as they allow service vehicles doing work on THEIR store to park in Handicapped spaces, and when confronted that this was a violation of FEDERAL Law, refused to call the police or have the trucks move, then, they threatened to call the police on ME when I raised my voice. WTG Walgreens, you lost a customer here!

The negative reviews about this store are bogus! Seriously.
I love it here. Especially the pharmacy staff. Since CVS is going out of business (thank you!), I chose to change all our families prescriptions over to Walgreens. The drive thru being my main reason at first. But the transfer from CVS to Walgreens was more than easy, thanks to the staff at this facility.
Today I had to go into the store to get some OTC meds for my kids! (Benadryl generic 8oz, 2 for $ 11.49). The non-​generic was $ 10.99 for an 8 oz bottle! Great deal.
I was in & out in no time. And I had to pick up a new prescription for my little. I love this Walgreens!

Didn’t want to ride my Bicycle to Stockton, CA today to get some Sewing Needles at Beverly’s (
) because of the inclement weather. But… where to get some Needles in Lodi? I had to ask someone of the female gender to find out…

The price on the Sewing Needles was actually very good! The best price I could find on the Internet was $ 4.99, with $ 8.49 being the highest on E-​Bay!
Sounds like someone could buy a whole mess of these Sewing Needles and turn around and sell them on E-​Bay! Not me, though…

Went there to buy a battery… it’s a strange place. Those who like it really like it and those who don’t go there often think it’s a strange place.

Walgreens is clean and a good place for deals– when they have the sale items in stock. I just want to mention to check your reciept before you leave the store. I found a charge for $ 12.99 for something I didn’t get and there was nothing like it on the counter for the checker to mistakenly ring up so this is likely a computer error. I brought it to the manager’s attention but it took a very long time to get a refund while he tried to figure out what happened by re-​ringing my purchases and when that didn’t work, he had to figure out how to refund my $ w/​o a product to return. Very frustrating!
