It’s almost summer again and that means that the Cache Valley Gardner’s Market is already in full swing! What do you want? If it isn’t at the market already, it certainly will be by the end of the season. Right now CVGM is heavy on vegetable plants and light on actual vegetables and fruit, but give it a month or two. In the meantime, pick up some crafts from local artisans, fresh bread from Crumb Brothers, desserts by Beth(HEART), local pork, beef, and eggs, or just stop by for some delicious breakfast by Stacked. Another fun feature of the market is different local musicians are featured each week. Most stalls accept cash only, but there is an ATM on site and it’s also possible to convert money on EBT cards into redeemable tokens near the picnic shelter. The only regrettable thing is that dogs aren’t welcome at this market. I love bringing my two cute pups to Wheeler Farms or to Pioneer Park in SLC for markets in the summer, but can’t do so in Logan. However, the blame for the ban lies with Logan City rather than CVGM. The Cache Valley Gardner’s Market is a lot of fun! Try to get there before October if you can!
