We are from out of town and decided to try Gaucho Grill. The service was great and the food was almost as great! I wish we would have ordered a limeade. They looked wonderful. The selection of food on the salad bar wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked but the grilled meat made up for it.

I’m not one to be unsatisfied with service at a restaurant, and I’m definitely not«close-minded» as one Unilocaler assumes. I usually try to give places the benefit if the doubt. But after tonight I am just disappointed with this place. A year ago I used to come to this place for lunch, and it was pretty good. But tonight was just terrible in every aspect, from the food, to the service, and the cleanliness. I guess I’ll start with the service and cleanliness. I ordered a drink, after I had drank it I noticed chunks of something stuck to the side of the glass. So ok I get it sometimes dishes don’t get all the way clean, but still you gotta be able to see that filling up the cup. The waitress came by I told her what happened and she immediately got me a new one, but my wife saw her tell the manager and he just looked at us. So she came back by and asked if she could do anything for us, I’m not a big complainer, so I just said no thank you. Then she came back and said I could get 50% off so that was cool. Until it came time to pay, sat there for 15 minutes half out of my seat wallet in hand waiting for a check. I went and asked if I could get my check, so some teenage dude said he could check me out, I told him about the discount so he went back to verify. He came back only to inform me that I misunderstood it was 15% off, I know what me and my wife heard but whatever. Next the food, first off it seems like they are just losing respect for the food. It used to actually be pretty good, juicy and savory. But now it’s as though they made to much food so the solution to that is just keep bringing it back to cook longer, until it’s dryer than the Mojave desert. I mean I love to cook, and if I made that food I ate tonight I would have thrown it out and ordered pizza or something. I mean it’s like they just have no respect for the food or the customer service, which BTW was extremely slow. So yes I am very open-minded when it comes to food, and I would still give this place currently 0 stars but it won’t let me. Very disappointed, I hope the owner sees this and makes some changes, otherwise I don’t think this place will be in business much longer.

I’ve always loved Gaucho Grill and hate dropping my previous 4-star rating to 2-stars but this place is crashing faster than Bill Cosby’s comedy career and a 4-star rating just isn’t realistic anymore. We came here last night and as much as I wanted to love it, the whole experience was terrible. We were quickly seated, ordered some drinks and headed to the salad bar. No complaints here. It’s not the greatest salad bar but hey, there’s enough to choose from that it compliments the meat selections nicely. Once we sat down we turned our dial over and waited for the meats to come. And waited and waited and waited. 25 minutes into our meal we were still without our drinks(or waters) and the meat skewers had only come around twice. Both times the meat was so overly cooked that when the employee tried to cut it off the skewer it just crumbled and fell to the table. The serving sizes were insanely small too, like half the size they normally are. They weren’t incredibly busy(just three other tables) so we couldn’t figure why the service was so slow and terrible. My friend asked to speak to the manager who said they were training a few new employees. He apologized and said he’d have things come out a little faster but everything that came out was still horribly overcooked. Eventually we grew tired of the badly burnt bite-sized meats that we called it quits and asked for our check. They forgot to give me my credit card back after I paid so I had to hunt down our waitress and get that. In the meantime, two of the other three tables complained about the poor service and the third had a problem with their bill. I have some fond memories of Gaucho Grill but I’m afraid now it’s nothing more than that aging childhood pet that has grown sick and old. You still want to love it, but you know the best thing to do is to put it down. This was my last time eating at Gaucho Grill.

Lunch deal only gave a sample of four meats. They didn’t offer all you can eat, and the servings were very stingy.

Wow. My first 5 star review. I never thought I would see the day but the other day, I found the restaurant that deserved such a review. I went there the other day and was amazed. There was a buffet of unbelievable amazingness. And to top it off there is endless Brazilian meat. I had never tasted such deliciositisity. I would eat there for the rest of my life if I could.

This was my first experience with a Brazilian grill and I had no idea of what I was to be expecting. The meat was really good and I enjoyed the ham, sausage, and top sirloin. My hubby loved the orange chicken and the chicken hearts. The salad bar was pretty nice and my only complaint with it is that the pasta salads had pasta that had not been fully cooked that night. Other than that I enjoyed my time there!

We went and I tried to order a beer… Nobody on shift was allowed to serve the beer. So we waited for the meat… and waited… and waited… and waited before we finally decided that we would just leave. Not a good experience. Salad Bar«buffet» was seriously lacking and the food had been sitting for a while.

We are at the grill right now, and have been waiting for 45 minutes. Nobody has come to seat us. There is a group of 2 in front of us, and a group of 6 in front of them. And nobody has even seen any employees since getting here. The thermostat is set to 80.5 °F. And their food is overpriced. Edit– once we finally got back, the service was great and the food was excellent. Just be sure you’ve got a couple hours to spend if you go here and it’s pretty good.

This place used to b better than Tucanos in SLC, smaller variety but good quality. However, over the past year it has steadily declined in quality. The meat is always dry and overlooked. They don’t come around with the meat choices nearly often enough anymore. Not worth the cost. Used to be one if my favorites and now you couldn’t pay me to go there.

Brazilian bbq is amazing, and Gaucho Grill has a lot of potential to be amazing as well if the service was better. Very disappointing when there is only one guy doing the full Rodizio on a busy evening and it takes about 20 or 30 minutes for the next skewer to come around. I was pretty full from the sides buffet, granted it had not been emptied out by other patrons sick of waiting for the next skewer to make its rounds. 40.00 for a meager buffet and a few occasional cuts of meat. I really want this place to live up to its potential!

First of all I just have to say that after reading some of the previous reviews I feel sorry for Gaucho Grill for trying to establish they’re selves in such a close minded community that obviously isn’t ready for something with a little culture. I live in Los Angeles, and just went to a local Brazilian steak house called Gauchos village, and spent $ 130.00!!! The whole time we were there we were wishing that we were at Gauchos Grill in Logan Utah. Ya it’s not as «fancy» of a place, but the level of service, friendliness, and even the food was superior. Me, and my wife got married in Logan, and used Gauchos for our food. They did an amazing job, and even a year later I’m wishing I had access to this little jewel. Give these guys a shot with an open mind Logan Utah!!!

Not bad. I would definitely need a special offer before I would come back. Brazilian style restaurants are generally not my cup of tea

My husband just said, «This was a bad first experience.» I corrected him and said, «No, this is a bad last experience!» It’s not that the food was bad. It was just hard to get it! More than 5 – 7 minutes between small portions of meat is way too long!

This was my second time coming to this restaurant. I came a year ago visiting my mom and their food was surprisingly good, we got tons of meat as they came around so often and the buffet was plentiful and fully stocked. This time around we came for dinner, I mean I’m not surprised with how much we paid(14.99) that we didn’t get a variety of meats to choose from. They had about 5, about 3 of them were exclusively a cheap pork. There was some steak, one cooked so rare the blood dripped everywhere, so gross! The buffet lacked food everything was empty maybe because it was 8:40PM and they close at 9:30? The stroganoff was good, beans and rice were plentiful. Still a mediocre variety most of the salad bar coming from straight can varieties. The staff was nice, probably too nice expecting a good tip as they star the last part of the receipt mentioning they all share the tip given. Overall from a year difference the quality has dropped significantly. I’ve been to other Brazilian steakhouses and this has been the saddest by far. Hopefully they change that as seeing there are so many restaurants that have opened up and closed since I’ve been visiting Logan.

We love Guacho Grill and their friendly staff. Parmesan Beef is by far the best. Ask for their«pao de queso» as it’s not on the menu 11÷22÷14 update: Well, sad to say we probably won’t be visiting Guacho Grill that much anymore. While the food is still good the service had taken a tremendous step backwards with the departure of Luis. We went on a Saturday night and it appears that they only had one«waitress» for our entire half of the building. Furthermore the meat service was extremely slow. While the meat was pretty good(hence the 2 stars) it was about 8 – 10 minutes between servings which in my opinion is just to long.

Stellar service, terrible food. Service: From the moment we walked in all staff were happy and enthusiastic. Servers were very attentive. Meat guys were funny and friendly. Check out was fast. Stellar service; among the best in the Valley. Food: Lowest quality of meat possible. «Parmigian Beef» was a lower cut of meat with flavoring. «Ham» was pressed ham cut into chunks. «Sausage» was kielbasa — a fattier and cheaper form of sausage. In all fairness, you get what you pay for: $ 14.99 for all you can eat meat, it’s not going to be fresh lamb. Just understand you did not stumble on the deal of the century. Salad Bar: Standard. Nothing special. Super clean. Foods were at the right temperature. Everything was kept in stock.

We had just an okay experience at Gaucho Grill last night. After waiting in the lobby for a few minutes(we overheard another couple there to visit her mention that it was the hostess’ last night), we received a warm welcome from our server, Alex. She was a gem and told us how their rodizio menu works and after taking our drink orders, left us to explore the buffet at our leisure. Not much there. Some pretty good fried bananas and a strangely delectable stroganoff were the standouts, but there was also a salad bar and other hot offerings like bean stew and rice. The meat was unexciting. Low quality ham loaf, dry pork, and a few different kinds of chicken. The best meat was the top sirloin, which was actually delicious. Everything else was just varying shades of mediocre. We ordered two specialty drinks — I got strawberry limeade and my friend got mango limeade. I enjoyed my drink but he was a little underwhelmed by his. On the upside, our dinner was super cheap. We used a coupon and the total, before tip, was $ 24. This is way cheaper than rodizio restaurants down south. However, I would have been willing to pay a little more for a meal of higher quality.

What is a vegetarian doing in a Brazilian steakhouse you ask? Being a nice wifey to my omnivore hubby, of course! Also, I heard they had a few things that I would like, and a salad bar to try. First, I should say that my hubby really loved the food.(but it totally grossed me out, haha!). I really liked the gluten free cheese bread and the grilled pineapples! If I had to go again, I would only get those two things. All in all. good for gluten free folks, BAD for vegetarians!

The food was gross. The meat was all very dry and tasteless… We were expecting something like Rodizio, but NOPE, not even close! It was quite expensive, as well. We were pretty upset that we paid over $ 50 for a crappy meal. Also, I didnt like the band playing very much… it was very loud and I had a hard time talking to my husband during dinner.

Came back in and really noticed the quality of the food drop. Then had a bad experience trying to use a coupon my son had. Told the waitress to forget about it. Won’t be back.
