My fiancé and I found this place to be inviting and cozy. The owner(im assuming) was very kind and helpful. She showed us around and was very accommodating. I don’t know what N. H. Was complaining about but I imagine he was ironing out his skirt when we was in a tizzy about his wine being just«okay»… That dude needs to not be allowed to write reviews… We can’t wait to come back to this winery next winter!(Ps, open year round)

Wonderful little place! Don’t let the slightly underwhelming appearance of the building fool you. Walk in and enjoy a great little jewel in the Hocking Hills. The wine is wonderful, the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly and prices are very reasonable. They have a great outdoor patio and fireplace with live entertainment on weekends. Note: to the Unilocaler that complained about the prices, I noticed most of your reviews were price driven so here’s a suggestion, try the Mogen David line at you’re local Kroger maybe the MD20 – 20. :))))

This is a lovely little winery. The staff seems knowledgable about their wines, and are very patient and attentive! The wines are about average, but the experience is great. Syrah was my favorite, excellent full bodied flavor. The patio area is peaceful, with wooded views. We ordered the full tasting, then enjoyed a glass of wine and cheese and crackers on the patio. Relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Fourteen family members and I showed up on Sunday afternoon. The staff was extra friendly and helpful as we brought in our large variety of eats. Connie was super helpful and her associate was gracious also. We all enjoyed bottles of wine and had a nice tour of the facility which was interesting to hear about the history of the land and how much they enjoyed working there especially when the staff and all the family members process the wines. Moscato was our favorite also. They have grills for your convienance and encourage bringing in your own food or from local restaurants. That was so great for us since some of us eat gluten free. I personally feel they should take reservations because after inviting everyone there I was nervous there wouldn’t be seating so we came early to set up tables. We plan on returning if we can make it before the snow flies to the patio area this time. It would be nice to have more citronella torches out since the bugs are attracted to the scent of wine. Great feature to the Hocking Hills, our own winery. A lot of their wine has sold so if you plan on a visit make it soon. Great service. Somewhat pricey but for good wine and great service and the fact it’s all done with personal attention we will return. The front of the building is plain but I’m sure giving them time they will add to its warmth because there is warmth inside with the fireplace and smiles from the staff.

Awesome… who doesn’t like wine. The Moscato is awesome, I get it every time. My man usually gets a red. The first time we got a meat & cheese tray, sampled each one of the wines, then got a glass or two, each. I also bought a wine glass for home and a bottle for my growing collection. This is our third trip down from Columbus. They have great live music on Fridays & Saturdays. We have known a couple of musicans for years. So we get to drink some great wine and visit with friends while enjoying great music. We have had a ball each time and have gone somewhere else, anotger small town or local festival, exploring in tge wonderful state of Ohio. We will definitely be back., again and again.

I was definitely surprised to hear that Columbus had wineries, but I was definitely up for giving it a try! I went here after hiking with some friends in Hocking Hills — it was on our way back to Columbus and we figured we’d stop for a little bit. The tasting room itself looks unimpressive from the outside, but it was really renovated on the inside and quite charming. This winery is small and family-owned, and the staff who work there are attentive and very nice(and give you a brief tour of their wine-making area if you would like that option). You can do wine tastings($ 1 for 1 oz.) and they also have small platters you can buy(seemed pricey though, so we did not get those). They also have a nice outdoor patio where you can sit, relax, and drink. They currently only have 1 type of wine from locally grown grapes, due to losing most of their grapes last year. However, I anticipate they will have more local wines in the future as they recover. The rest of their wine selection is from juices they buy across the country.

Who knew Ohio had wineries? This is a small, family-owned winery is located just off of 33 near Hocking Hills State Park. My friends and I went hiking at Cedar Falls Trail and then stopped here for some wine on our way back to Columbus. Tasting was $ 1 for 1oz and bottles were ~$ 25. There were 6 or so types of wines, about half white and half red. The atmosphere was meh. The winery was essentially a steel garage finished with a modern American interior, but at least the patio had fireplace and a nice view of the nearby forest. The 2 ladies serving wine gave us a quick tour of the winery and showed us how they pressed their grapes and aged and bottled their wine. Everyone was super friendly and it was a fun little side activity to wind down from hiking all day.

So. The staff is great. The wine? Nah. We did a tasting — either $ 1 per one of the 8 provided wines or $ 13 for all 8(or maybe 7?) and a wine glass with the logo for $ 13. THISISWAYTOOEXPENSIVE. A winery in Nashville, IN(similar tourist trap location) gave away samples for free. Other places it is $ 5 for 6 wines. Wine is not expensive and tastings should not cost too much. However, that’s what you get in a tourist town. Overall, the wine is mediocre and if you want to buy a bottle they’re $ 17/$ 18 on average. LOL. No. They have nothing cheaper than that and I am unaware of any winery without a $ 10/$ 12 bottle. And since their wine isn’t great… well. Now if you’re a tourist, it can be fun. Fireplaces, live music(tho I didn’t like it) on weekend nights, and the friendlist damn staff. Plus, they sell local chocolate truffles and WOW. Tasty, albeit way too expensive at $ 3 each.

Yummy wine and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed the outside fireplace and patio. Staff was very helpful and knowledgable. They only had 6 wines to chose from but it was remarkable they had only been open for a couple of weeks. We wish them much success.

Really enjoyed their wine selection, very delicious! We also got their cheese plate, which was also very good. The staff was friendly and dogs are allowed on the porch, which was nice! For just opening the week before, the place looked great!
