We were touring around western Iowa before the winter storm hit, driving on the Loess Hill scenic byway, and were directed to this place by the nice lady at the Iowa Welcome Center in Logan. This place is amazing. It has life-sized dioramas of scenes from the life of Jesus, including a rather bloody crucifixion with a thunder sound track. I was impressed with quality of taxidermy of the sheep(in another scene). Currently, there are probably a thousand table creches and dozens of themed Christmas trees(breast cancer survivors, patriots, dog lovers, all here). Some of the trees are being raffled off(come before Dec. 20 to buy your ticket). There is a display of some of the Judeo-Christian religons. The Jewish faith articles were extensive, compared with the others. If you ever wanted to see a tallit or a tefillin, this is the place. No shofar, though. There is a large gift shop, which we did not go into, and a 5 minute-movie presentation, which we did not watch. Here is their website They are also on Roadside America, and Godtube. An interesting stop on our Iowa road trip, all round.
