This is not the place for senior citizens to go. The GM and the person who is in charge of the pool are very disrespectful of us elderly. They have stated that we are a pain. This is not very business like of them. The pool manager has his head up his butt and is a total asshole. Please senior citizens do not go to sports academy. Housekeeping is poor. Floors on womens locker room are dirty. No kleenex in locker room and no plastic bags for anout a week. Lockers dont lock and they are well aware of it. Believe me if there was another gym in town i would go to it

This is a FUN place! Just make sure to get your«bro-tein» before you come, you’ll need it. There are lots of great people who are motivated to help you get fit as well as lots of different resources available at your disposal. The only tricky part is that it’s pretty expensive $ 60 to initially sign up and in addition, $ 20 every two weeks; however, I think it’s worth it as long as you utilize your pass to it’s full potential. You give them your card number and they take money out on their own, you don’t need to spend time or hassle making sure you’re caught up with your payments. I really enjoy the classes and I take full advantage of them. Some of my favorites include: Latin Fire Dancing, Pump, Step, Switch, and Zumba. And the teachers are great, especially Jennifer, Lenani, Tori, and Millie – she’s probably my favorite, very fun and hardworking. There are a couple to gyms and machines to use, one is on the main floor and the other is on the second floor. I like that they are the nice ones too, they keep them clean and working. Try to go at a time when not there aren’t too many people, if you can swing it, right before noon is a good time – from what I’ve observed. They also have racquetball, that’s at an extra cost to use the court, basketball and a swimming pool. There is also a little smoothie bar at the front with«flavors of the week», so be sure to get your fix once you’re finished getting swole. TIPS&TRICKS: * If you get a pass, you are given 5 free guest passes. So bring a friend and show them what it is that makes this place so fancy. * Grab a complimentary towel at the front desk before you start your workout. * if you’re a student at the university, you can take a class here and get a membership for only $ 15 a month instead of the usual $ 40.
