Descent sandwich, and same as everyone else there a little small. I like that they have sprouts there. Iv had the Manhattan, and the pizza burger(not a burger), didn’t care for the pizza burger. All n all I’ll probably go back.

The sandwiches are pretty good. Like other reviewers have said the sandwiches were on the small side, but it was still more than enough to fill me up. I have had 3 of the sandwiches there. My favorite was the Deli sandwich, followed by the killer burger. The four seasons was my least favorite, it didn’t have enough flavor for my liking, maybe if I added a different kind of sauce it would have been better. I thought it was kind of weird that a lot of sandwiches had eggs on them, but it worked well on the sandwich. I thought the price was right. The prices were comparable to subway and jimmy johns, even though these were a little smaller the quality was a lot better.

Sandwiches here are tasty, but sadly just too small. If a lunch can’t keep me going through the afternoon and on until dinner, I won’t bother with it. And these sandwiches just do not cut it. So, though flavors are for the most part very good, I just cannot justify eating here very often… BUT, «John’s» pastrami on rye(don’t call it simply a pastrami, it’s officially John’s) and Philly cheesesteak on wheat(no longer on the menu) are ace. Four Seasons is bland as served, ask for extra seasoning. Dining area is much more spacious since the remodel some years back. And I do not miss all of those gd baskets. A self-proclaimed«sandwich nazi» owns and runs the place, and is infamous for his mistreatment of customers. He’s a polarizing man in the community, and though I’ve heard all the stories, I’ve never personally had a problem with him. It’s a little annoying that he tends to hire employees that match his giant ego. Bottom line, if you have the appetite of a bird, this is the perfect lunch spot for you.

The Four Seasons on rye is one of my favorite sandwiches in Utah! Fresh ingredients, healthy food, and great atmosphere for a sandwich shop. There is plenty of space for those wanting to dine in. Love this restaurant but only come a few times a year due to high prices.

The Four Seasons is so flipping good. Make sure you add a sauce(or two). The hot n spicy and pizza burger are also good options.

Lets all be real and honest with ourselves– these sandwiches are overpriced and under proportioned. I think they taste great, but I’m not spending $ 14 to get two of these sandwiches so I can get full for lunch.

Holy crap this was bad. My boss took me to lunch here and it was terrible. The sandwich I had(they all had bizarre names) was dry and tasteless. The dining area was dirty, cold and uninviting. Not a place I plan to go back to.

I absolutely love this place. It is my favorite sandwich place in town. The steak sandwich is my favorite sandwich. I love the Italian soda. Toasted s’more is my favorite flavor, but I also love the huckleberry. The service there is great.

The sandwiches at the Italian Place are a little wimpy, especially in consideration of the price tag. I came in with high expectations, but I left feeling underwhelmed. The best thing that can be said about my experience is that the service was fast. After standing in line for less than two minutes, I was asked for my order. Because I’m a picky eater, I ordered the Plain Jane. This sandwich consists solely of meat, peppers, and cheese. Not even sauce, as I learned later. When I sat down with my sandwich, I felt like we were both unenthusiastic. My sandwich was small and only half full. I liked the salt and pepper, but could barely taste the cheese. Was it my fault for ordering the most boring item on the menu? Maybe. But when is meat and cheese anything other than delicious? One fun option at The Italian Place is Italian sodas. After observing another patron being served a strawberry cream soda, I ordered one for myself. At $ 2.00, it wasn’t too expensive and tasted great. I would try The Italian Place again. Maybe my sub-par experience WAS a little bit my fault. Next time, I’m going for the gold and ordering their signature sandwich. If you visit this restaurant, I would suggest that you do the same.

The food is OK but overpriced and nothing special. Best thing going for them is their fun location. There are several other places I’d recommend for a sandwich if you are price conscious at all.

I went to eat here today for lunch based on all the positive reviews I read on this website. Well let me tell you my experience. I really wanted a good sandwich. When I walked in, the menu was tiny and there were people standing in front of it and I couldn’t read it and it was really awkward for me to budge in front of others to even see what my options are. The owners?/cooks asked me if I knew what I wanted, but I couldn’t even read the menu. I wanted something with a lot of flavor and cold, but I couldn’t see any options that suited my taste buds. The guys at the grill pressed me again so I told them the top option, which was the Four Seasons, except I wasn’t digging peppers so I asked them not to put them on. The sandwich was not flavorful, and the eggs were drippy and wet the bread, which was either super squished or had some of the bread removed, which I did not appreciate. I ended up only having a couple bites and then removed the insides and nibbled on the rest of the bread before throwing it away, and leaving feeling nauseous. Maybe if I wasn’t alone, I’d feel more comfortable in that environment? I don’t usually have that sort of problem, but today, I felt pressured and awkward and stared at by some of the employees/customers. All I was doing was trying to enjoy my lunch in peace. I like sandwiches, and I would consider myself a foodie, but for $ 8, I wouldn’t bother going to this place again.

Probably the best place for sandwiches in Logan! They are only open for lunch. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Customers are welcome to bring in and leave a sauce to share with other customers.

Great sandwich, small portions for what you have to pay. Logan Heros is a better spot IMO

We have been here twice and both times they touched money and then touched our sandwiches, they never washed their hands in between. So gross! Don’t know how they pass health inspections.

The Italian Place has been around for a long time. When my bf was in college he would go with a friend at lunch and each would order a couple Manhattans. My bf has made his own version of Manhattans, but they’re not the same. Part of the reason could be that John ages his own beef. It coud also be those awesome now well-seasoned grills. At any rate the steak is fantastic. The egg is a great unique addition to this sandwich. You can’t have a great sandwich without good bakery quality bread. John definitely uses great bread. The rolls are soft but not so soft the juices destroy the integrity of the bread. I personally prefer mayo on the sandwiches otherwise they’re just a bit bland and dry for my taste, but with a bit of mayo these sandwiches are awesome. If you’re in Logan and you need a steak and egg fix or a good hot sandwich John and his crew will hook you up. If your appetite is rather large, definitely order two sandwiches.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see this place end up on one of those food shows. My favorite sandwiches are the hot and spicy or the four seasons with pepperoni instead of steak. Still you probably won’t go wrong with any of their fine offerings.

I love the sandwiches here! Must get double meat though. I like putting one of the many hot sauces on there as well as a few of the seasonings. I get the hot n spicy.

You ever notice that at most places, when it’s really hectic, when it’s lunch rush, the staff all have their hair on fire, they can’t bother to even look at you and acknowledge your existence? And, if they do, typically it’s to stare knives at you? Well, The Italian Place is exactly the opposite. My wife and I recently went there for lunch, and the line was enormous. But, they have things so well laid out, their processes so well planned, and their operations so well executed that from order to sit down, it’s a matter of minutes. And the staff is smiling at you, and joking with you, and appreciating you the entire time. And the sandwiches are fantastic.
