In town for work. Needed a quick lunch. Very disappointed by this place. No vegetarian options. So I got the salad bar. Salad was completed wilted. Hardly any healthy toppings for the salads. All the pizzas on the buffet had meat on them. Got ice cream for dessert. Both flavors had ice on them and tasted slightly freezer burnt.

Very friendly staff, restaurant was pretty clean but the food was meh. If you’re passing through then go to McDonald’s instead.

Vanilla coke with crushed ice was yummy and the fries were acceptable but the service was meh and my fish sandwich was deplorable. The bun was stale the lettuce was wilted and the fish was hard and unpleasantly fishy. I most likely ordered wrong but wished I’d skipped it all together. I’m thinking I will just go the west location for broasted chicken the next time I’m in my hometown.

Last time I ate there was 1972. Still awesome. Had the breaded tenderloin. Great. Fries perfect and onion rings are very good. Service was stellar. Could not have been better service. So friendly. Thanks Shanks family for being so consistent. When in Indiana we go to Haps and Sycamore.

There’s a Burger King right next door and I just feel sorry for the people who choose that over Hap’s. It’s a great local joint with TONS of character, charm, quality, and hometown hospitality. Do yourself a favor, pile up the family and head on over to Hap’s instead of whichever 3rd rate chain restaurant you were considering. Get yourself some great food, delicious dessert, and old school ambience. Hap’s is unfortunately a dying breed, and you’ll miss it if it’s ever gone.

Hap’s Delight tastes just as it always did. My partner never thought tartar sauce on a cheeseburger would taste that good! They need to figure out how to bring in the kids! Clientele has grown rather geriatric since my day. But maybe that was just the time of day we were there. Every time we make the trek back to Logansport there will be at least one stop at Happyburger.(At least one.)

Graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 1996 and used to eat here often with my parents. I have been here a few times the last few years, but the food, service, quality of food, employee friendliness are just ok. Nothing like it was years ago.

High quality, local food at good prices. Staff always friendly. Best coke you’ll find anywhere! Chicken, burgers, pizza and old-fashioned ice cream parlor make this restaurant unique with enough variety that anyone can find something they’ll love. No need to go to other national chains — «Haps» has it all!
