Discovery Point

We placed our son at Discovery Point on the recommendation of a friend. He has been at Discovery Point since he was 3 months old; he’s now 28 months and we could not be more pleased with the care he receives. All of the teachers he’s had and others that we’ve met are genuinely loving and care about the kids. Many of them have been at the center for a long time, which says a lot in a field with high turnover. The owner has been in the field for over 20 years and is on site VERY frequently. She, too, really cares about the kids and knows them well. He’s also learned a lot — counting, the alphabet, etc. — and his language skills are excellent. You can tell that the kids don’t just run around all day, but are engaged in many different activities.
As first time parents were were understandably nervous about putting our son in day care, but Discovery Point has been a great experience for him. When I was looking for a day care it seemed like there were not many reviews available, so I hope this is helpful to someone!
