Peyton Pettus – State Farm Insurance Agent

I never actually met Peyton Pettus… met his lackey, but never him. Signed up for homeowners and 4 vehicles and not so much as a generic thank you email. Even after the wind blew shingles off our home and as an «insurance company» State Farm chose to cancel our policy instead of actually doing the job they are paid to do, still no word from Mr. Pettus. Now I understand that insurance companies in general are a crap shoot and definitely not «on your side». but State Farm and Peyton Pettus are the absolute worst I’ve seen and due to the type of business I own, I’ve met a lot of agents and adjusters. They have made me feel like some young punk that has gotten himself in trouble and now I am being punished for it with no outside help. I can’t control the weather and now I can’t control the fact that we will have a cancellation on our «insurance record» which will undoubtedly result in higher premiums in the future. Which reminds me, not even a 30 day notice, we have about 12 days to find new insurance before our mortgage company imposes their own. Nice! You do what you want, but I wouldn’t give this guy the time of day. His office seemed to be more interested in the «Add On», the «Up Sale»…the lackey told me Peyton was more involved with Financial Planning and that’s why he doesn’t reach out often. Again nice!
