Adored Salon

I have been going to Adored now for over a year. I went initially to get my hair fixed after i was not happy with another salon. From the moment i walked in, Jackie was amazing! she gave me a free consultation and then scheduled my appointment. I have been going back ever since. I have had the pleasure of getting to know all the girls and everytime i go, it feels like family.
I now take my 9 year old daughter (who hates anyone touching her hair) and she has even asked to go back.
From color to extensions to Rosie’s amazing eyelash extensions, Adored is by far the best salon in Dupage. i will never go anywhere else. Kudos to Jennifer for creating such a great team!

For 39 years, I have had to deal with frizzy, unruly curly hair that would never seem to look right, even if I used a diffuser or curling iron on it. I tried every product out there, and went few years with never letting heat touch it, just letting it air-​dry, and still I had unruly frizz. A Keratin treatment helped, but it was not the look I wanted, I wanted stick straight Oriental-​looking hair. When Jennifer told me about Japanese thermal straightening, she had to convince me that it would be permanent, and stick straight, unlike keratin treatments where you still need to flat iron your hair every time you wash it. I finally decided to give it a try, and Andrea did the service. I could not believe at the end how silky straight my hair was!!! I was sure after I washed it it would somehow be curly again, but it has been a month and it is bone straight, even without flat ironing it. I wash my hair, use a thermal-​resistant lotion before blow drying, and just gently blow dry it straight. I let it air dry once, and it was very straight as well, absolutely no curl. This is the first time in my life I love my hair, and will keep going back for all my hair needs. The staff is very professional and the prices are reasonable, you can’t go wrong!!!

I’ve been going to the same salon my whole life, but when I moved into the area, I wanted to find somewhere closer to go. I was a little nervous about going somewhere different after all these years, but I can happily say, I had a great experience at Adored Salon. I had Jackie and she did a wonderful job cutting and blow drying my hair. My hair looked amazing when she was done!

I went to see Jennifer for a color touchup and the Ouidad cut and style. As a recent transplant to the area, I had not found any salons near me that could or would do my natural ethnic hair, so really I ended up going here because I was desperate! I am SO GLAD I found this place. The cut is fantastic, the color is spot on, and although I’ve been getting my hair done for over 25 years, no stylist has ever taken me through the steps of styling my hair curly. It is always pressed out straight at salons, although I rarely wear it straight. Jennifer took me through each step of how to replicate my style at home. I am so pleased with the result. My hair really looks great, and now I know how to make it look great at home too!

I have naturally curly hair and have been looking for a new salon. Well, THIS IS IT! My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience. #1. I was taken «day of» as this was the only day I had free time. #2. Being a new client Jackie hit my color «spot on“and it looks fabulous. #3. Jennifer — made time for me from her schedule to give me the Quidad experience as I said I was practically a walk-​in. #4. My daughter and I were treated like friends, not clients. #5. Jennifer made time to write out for me all the steps needed to keep my fabulous curls looking salon fresh.
From the minute we walked in the door until we left I was truly amazed at the friendly service and comfortable atmosphere!

I followed Andrea from her previous salon to Adored. I’ve historically had Japanese thermal straightening done and Andrea told me about the new Ouidad system, convincing me to give my curls another try. So far so good. Andrea is a great stylist, the salon is nice and the staff I interacted with were very professional. I can’t comment on the other stylists, but Andrea is definitely top notch.

I love this place. Jennifer and her team make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. I could not even think about anyone else working on my hair. I am so happy she opened up her own shop. If you want someone who know what there doing and will bend over backwards to make you happy than this is the place to go.

I will never go to this salon again. Just recently moved to the area and needed a haircut and color. Needless to say some of my highlightes bled so it looks like I have tiger strips and the haircut leaves alot to be desired. They told me I could come back to have it fixed but the attitude I received when I told them my hair was messed up will have me finding some place else to go to fix this mess.
