Four Seasons Park

Four Seasons park stretches from Finley Road on the west to Main Street on the east. The park offers baseball, softball, and soccer fields; basketball and sand volleyball courts; playgrounds; picnic areas; and walking paths. There is a very large pond for fishing or simply admiring (no swimming). When winter conditions are right, the pond is available for ice skating. There is a steep hill in the park ideal for sledding too.
In addition there is an historic log cabin on the Main Street side of the park available to rent. It has a small kitchen, a fireplace, and AC. It can accommodate 75 for a meeting or 50 for dining.
I come to Four Seasons Park to walk, look for wildlife, listen to songbirds in spring, and watch the seasons change. The park is safe, spacious and well kept. There are large expanses of grass and on the south side of the park near the pond is a particularly pretty area with several large weeping willow trees. I especially enjoy the park in spring and fall because it is peaceful.
You’ll likely see many squirrels, Canada geese, ducks, and maybe a bunny. Watch your step in some areas! When I say many geese, I mean MANY geese.
Meander around the sledding hill. There’s a nice view from the top and, if you look carefully at the surrounding thickets, you’ll find secret passageways. Hobbits?
