This is the closest McDonald’s to my home. The service and food are normally good. I have only ever received one incorrect order and that is a good thing. The location is part of a gas station. While that is common in central and southern Illinois, it is abnormal for the area. Honestly, it put me off before I started coming here. I have a 5 year old and the Happy Meal toys have been good lately… so we come here quite a bit. The drive thru is pretty speedy. They recently upgraded to the two screens to order thing… which is weird. It isn’t the side by side ones, it is the ones where there is one after another. I am never sure if I should pull up or order at the first one. The inside area doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy so we tend to use the drive-thru. It feels like you are eating in a gas station inside. The restrooms are typical gas station restrooms, not clean but not dirty, just blah. I keep coming back and this place is A-OK!

Went there and ordered off the menu, when I got the food, the fries were way over cooked and unacceptable. The girl at the drive thru have me a hard time about it. She told me that any fries they gave me would be just as bad. I ended up having to get a refund.

This place is the WORST mcdonalds ever. How is this possible you ask? Well for starters, they have gotten every single order I have ever ordered wrong. I’m not a picky or specific person either. Listen I just want mcnuggets. And when I open a bag of fish sandwiches, you gotta wonder why? I’ve gotten wrong drinks, missing food, and happy meals in place of regular meals(although who can argue that a free toy isn’t awesome every now and then). The manager always fixes things and tries to make it right. But my husband and I just go to one of the many other fast food joints in the area in order to avoid a headache. I suggest you do the same — but chances are you won’t Unilocal a mcdonalds before you go and the reason you are Unilocaling is to also warn people about how much this McDonald’s sucks.

Food here is typical McDonalds, I only ever go through the drive-thru, convenient location, attached to a gas station. My complaints: quite honestly, the staff usually sucks. Indifferent, won’t tell you if they’re going to up charge you for something(i.e. Orange juice instead of coffee), won’t even ask if you want a receipt often, not always attentive to the intercom, and they even dropped my bag of food on the ground once because the chick wasn’t paying attention. This location is convenient, so sometimes I stop here, but definitely not one of McDonalds’ best locations…

This is the WORSTMCD that I have ever been to. They do not know how to process coupons or any other promotions, especially the managers. They try to overcharge you for everything, either by adding on things or not knowing how to process Radio Shopping Show Bucks. Need to get a whole new crew in this place by starting at the management level.

This is the McDonald’s I go to right before I’ve taken my Emissions Test MANDATED by the State of Illinois. I would take this coffee over Starbucks… that stuff is terrible!

You know, I debated on whether to give this McDonald’s a 2 or 3 star. Unless a fast food joint has some really EXCELLENT service, they’re rarely going to get better from me. Because, let’s face it, franchise food is franchise food and everyone knows what to expect. Unfortunately, this area has a real lack for close and convenient fast food. So I find myself inextricably forced to eat here often, as I do not cook and don’t pack lunches. I often have to specify the sauces I want for my breakfast when I order or it ends up taking more time, and about half the time they get it right. I’m not the type of person to order as-is anything. But the main complaint I have is that there are times when they don’t follow through and give me what I asked for and it’s incredibly frustrating to have to hold up the line to say«uh, no, I said…» and wait for it to be corrected. Also, the drive through is a bit of a pain to get into and out of and people drive like maniacs through the parking lot/abandoned gas station lot that it’s in.

Food is fine, nothing notable, but the gas station that this is housed in is closed. Makes the whole thing a bit creepy!

Since this Mcdonald’s is almost right next to I-355, and since I use said expressway every morning to go to work, I started coming here to get my morning coffee. I mean, you can’t mess up coffee right? So far they haven’t. However, I have to take away two stars for the following reasons: 1. THESTAFF. Now I know at 7:00am people are not going to be all smiles and warm and bubbly, but when you’re working in hospitality, having an attitude or having a stone face in an attempt to hurry the customers along is just… wrong. This has happened on more than one occasion. 2. THEDRIVETHRUSETUP. They have to do better with this, and I have to warn anyone using the drive thru: The«regulars» that use the drive thru will CAUSEANACCIDENT trying to be first in line. If you enter from North Avenue you have to turn right to get into the line, while the«regulars» will cut through the gas station and either cut you off or(gasp) hit you. Just to be first in line. Geez, people, it ain’t that serious! All in all a decent McDonald’s.

THISPLACESUCKS. I’m fairly certain they recruit their employees from some sort of home or something. The staff while moronic seems to be up to something shady. McDonalds sucks enough as is, I don’t need the staff making it worse. Last time I was here they weren’t taking credit cards for some reason, screw em. Don’t come here.
