I had a problem with my refrigerator at around 10:00 p.m. one hot summer night so I called this company and left a message and the next day early in the morning I got a call back and they were able to come out around lunch time. Very fast service! Very friendly and best of all honest. They did not try to upcharge anything and explained what was wrong with my fridge in a simplistic manner. I would use again for any of my other kitchen appliances. They also have some helpful tips to help maintain the fridge.

I have used R & L Appliance for over 20 years and have always been very happy with their service and promptness. Not only does Ron do the repair, he usually has a tip or two on how to make the appliance last longer or run better. He can also tell you what brands and models to stay away from.

Ron was able to come to our house and fix our oven 1 day after calling him. He was very professional and very quick! Fixed within an hour! Good prices! He was very friendly and will use him for further services.

We had a dryer coil that needed to be replaced because of an improper venting issue. Fixed it on the spot quickly. Ron, who has worked on thousands of machines, was terrific walking me through how to correct the problem, and gave a bunch of helpful advice on the dryer (and the washer) to improve efficiency and life of the machine. It feels good finding a company to call upon for future repairs.

Excellent service! And quick! Called for a dryer repair and the gentleman showed up about 2 hours later. Best of all he had the necessary parts! So many times I call for appliance repair and they don’t have the parts they need and I have to reschedule for another day. I would absolutely recommend this company.

My refrigerator mysteriously stopped working, so I called R & L around 10am to have someone come out. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and helpful. She gave me a rough time frame (before 2pm) and then called again when the technician was about to head over so I had time to get home to meet him. The technician was a very nice older gentleman who fixed the problem in less than an hour. He talked me through the fix and at the end I actually felt like I learned quite a bit about refrigerators! Highly recommend. Just a warning though, they don’t take credit cards.

Our oven went out on Thanksgiving morning! Fortunately we weren’t hosting, so a repair waited until Friday. Called R&L at 8:30 and they had the oven working by 11:15! Prices were reasonable and the service technician was very nice and explained everything he was doing. Very highly recommended!

My washing machine broke and I did a brief search on local repair places. I called R&L based on the positive reviews here and on Angie’s list. It was 100 degrees outside and my laundry pile was growing fast, so I wanted it fixed NOW! The lady I spoke with was very friendly and told me she wasn’t sure she could get me in today, but she would try and call me back. She called back in about 2 hrs and said the guy would be there that afternoon. He was prompt, friendly and fixed my dryer in about 30 mins. Also, gave me some free advice from a professional perspective. I won’t hesitate to call them again if I need appliance repair in the future.

I called R & L Appliance about my broken washing machine. The man I spoke with spent some time on the phone with me listening to my description of the problem. He gave me a brief explanation of what was going wrong and told me that it would end up being cheaper for me to purchase a new washer rather than have him fix it, as parts alone would be more than a new basic washer.
He knew the answer right away and didn’t try to sucker me into having him come out to the house for a service call just to tell me how expensive a repair would be. He doesn’t sell washing machines so made $ 0 for the time he spent with me. (He even told me where to go to get a good price and free installation on a washer.)
That kind of honesty wins me over! If I have appliance problems in the future, I’ll be sure to call R & L Appliance right away.

One day our oven was working, the next day it was not. I assumed it would either be something like the pilot light had gone out, or, a worse problem that would be really expensive (this is the kind of luck I have).
So, we called R&L Appliance because they had good reviews on Angie’s List.
They were able to come out the same day we called. The tech was very nice, polite and arrived when they said he would.
It turned out the ignitor in our oven had gone bad. He gave me the exact price of the repair, including the new ignitor and labor. I said «Go for it!»
Within a half hour he had the job done and everything back in place. I thought the price was very reasonable. Most importantly, we have an oven that works!
I’d highly recommend R&L Appliance!!!
