Rosati’s Pizza

I’m not sure about the other reviewers here but my experience with this place was very good. I Grubhub-​ed an order from them and everything went by smoothly. The lady in front who served me was very nice. The food was good! I’ve gone through a lot of pizza places in the Chicagoland area and I wasn’t disappointed. It may not by the best I’ve had but certainly up there. My wife even told me twice in one day that she loved the pizza there. I think the chicken wings were OK but this is a pizza place so there you go.

Had a coupon from a coupon book for the Rosatis in wheaton for 50% off a pizza. Called this lombard location and they said they would accept the coupon so I make an order for a 20 inch. Half cheese and the other half had 5 or 6 varieties of vegetables. I drive to the store to pay and they say they wont accept the coupon and the bill comes out to $ 40. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. The only reason I decided to try this place is because we had a coupon. NEVER RETURNING AGAIN. I then call the Wheaton location and they say they wont accept entertainment booklet coupons for some reason. Also, it was supposed to be 50% veggies but it was more like %30 percent veggies and %70 cheese. The crust was also burned.

We used to order from here and the pizza was okay. Now it is just terrible– it doesn’t taste like anything. How can pepperoni and tomato pizza taste like cardboard.
So sad.

Wow there are some tough critics here in Lombard. Rosati’s is a staple food for my family and I. When my dad or sister come to visit from Springfield they will eat rosatis the first day and the last day they are in town. It seems as if some of the comments left were all from the same family which isn’t really fair…
I have eaten rosati’s pizza for at least 20 years from this exact location. More often than not the order has been great with no issues. No restaurant is perfect but they have come close in my book. I have worked in the fast food industry before and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. People always complain about food so that they get it for free. So from what I’ve read it seems that they have to be selective as to what refunds they give bc otherwise they would be losing their behinds bc of all of the scammers. But back to me, I love rosati’s, I love this location and I love that it is family fun. Dean the owner along with his 2 kids. Pretty awesome thing to have here in Lombard

They used to be good but we’re noticing the quality and quantity going down hill and prices going up. We ordered 2 Cheefs no peppers and 2 fries and it cost $ 25 not including a tip. When we opened the boxes we couldn’t believe how little beef there was on the sandwich. The sandwich was dry too and it was mostly bread. I’m very disappointed in Rosati’s. Don’t think we’re going to order from there again. Old Town pizza piles there beef on and their pizzas are better. I’ll give them two stars because it was edible.

Went here after a family in Glendale ordered from the Elmhurst location and decided to try this location out.
The food was fast 20 minutes, and the customer service when I ordered in store for carry out was great. Maybe thats where my rating differs from the other rating listed here (delivery vs. in-​store)
The pizza was excellent.
Ordered the hot wings very spicy (and good).
Will order again in the future. LOL in-​store.

I thought my pizza by the slice ($ 3) was fantastic. A large portion. Crusty, cracker-​like crust, sprinkled with oregano and sausage on top.

I wish I didn’t have to give any stars. My wife and I ordered italian beef. Woke up at 1 am to the worst stomach pain imaginable. After throwing up and expelling the beef felt better. Terrible experience.

The cheese wasn’t bad, but the bread crust on the deep dish horrible, Pizza Hut deep dish is ten times better. cheap ingredients, I’m sure the owners wouldn’t even eat this pizza. The pizza should honestly be worth $ 5. Not $ 19. Won’t come again

I have grown up with Rosati’s pizza, as my father would order it all the time when I was a kid. So, it has been awhile since I have had Rosati’s but I was craving it (33 weeks pregnant!) We ordered a thin crust italian beef pizza and customer service said it would take one hour for delivery. After 75 minutes my husband called and inquired about the eta of our pizza. The person on the phone, said «we have it in the oven– we will have it soon to you as possible– half priced»… OK, cool– So they forgot our order completely but will accommodate us with a discount and put the delivery on priority. it then arrived 30 minutes after that. While I appreciate the discount, however there wasn’t an apology for the negligence and the pizza just didn’t live up to my expectation for the kind of pizza I was used too. It was dry, hardly any sauce and was lacking something that I cannot figure out, flavor? Needless to say, we won’t be ordering from Rosati’s Pizza again.

We love Rosati’s pizza, and in fact order from them just about every Friday night as part of our weekly routine. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING, to the point at which that we order pizza from them partly because we like to support such good people. Love this place, fast delivery and great quality ingredients. Honestly if give it 5 stars but it’s just so hard to dedicate this as my number one pizza joint. Aw hell, it’s great pizza, 5 stars it is!

I did not receive bad customer service like other reviewers have stated. The woman who took my order was friendly. The order was ready when promised. The pizza is ok. Just ok. Nothing spectacular. Very salty. I cant say why I’m not 100% satisfied — honestly can’t quite put my finger on it. This particular location just has an overall «meh» feeling to it.

This is a good rosati’s. Some other locations not much but we’ve been ordering from here for years and it’s always good. Good thin crust cheese. Sausage pizza and garlic bread are good too.

I been ordering form Rosita’s for over 12 years, the thin crust double sausage pizza is freaking tasty the crust nicely toasted, but their customer service is really bad, I always order the pizza for pick up, and that is what I did when I ordered it this time, it was odd when the kid told me that it would be ready in 30 to 45 minutes because it is usually ready for pick up in 20 minutes, so I go to the place to pick up the pizza and the kid who placed the order can’t find my order, he kept looking in the system and realize that he set it for delivery, I waited for 30 more minutes til the driver returned with the pizza, before he even returned we payed for the order, they handed me my pizza and then someone ask did you pay for it, I told them yes showing them the receipt in my hand, so I handed them the receipt and they are taking forever to confirm that it was paid for I had to give them a piece of my mind before getting my order.
I doubt I will be back to this place, they have some growing up to do.

ZERO STARS !! Do not order pizza from this Rosati’s. This restaurant is the worst. We ordered a Rosati’s Best tonight and of course like every other time we have ordered they give us a 20 min wait time. DO NOT believe them. Every time they say 20 min we give them a half hour and every time it takes an additional half hour wait. Seriously just be honest and tell your customers the actual wait is an hour for pizza. Tonight however is the last time Rosati’s will be getting my money. After an hour we get home and our Rosati’s best is a pepperoni pizza. A Very skimpy pepperoni pizza. The managers solution is to credit us $ 4. Seriously. What kind of manager offers a $ 4 credit after they have made us wait an hour for the WRONG pizza. Now get this the best part of my Saturday night is my husband has to bring back this crap pizza to get our full credit. Do me a favor Rosati’s «manager» stay working here so I never have to encounter your ridiculously poor customer service ever again!

UGH! I am ashamed too bad it only goes down to one star it should be like negative 100. We were all really hungry and my dad went to pick up our «rosatis best» pizza he waited for about an hour and a half even though it was supposed to be ready in 20 mins. So my dad finally gets the pizza brings it home and… it’s cheese pizza. They may have the «best» pizza but they have the «worst» service. We meanwhile are all still starving. My dad calls them they than ask if we want a refund or we can wait another 20 minutes for a pizza we ask for a refund. They refuse to refund us on all the toppings we didn’t get. We did end up getting a full refund. My dad drove to buona beef and got our food in 10 minutes flat. Managers that are professional would refund us everything right away and we wouldn’t have to pry it out of them. Never again. I wonder if their «best» pizza is actually good. Negative 100 stars I feel bad for the other customers that have to deal with that manager!

Ok so I’m diabetic and don’t order pizza often but I was looking forward to splurging on some pizza for Father’s Day ! It wasn’t ready when promised and when I got home I was overdue for food, low glucose, and the family was starving too! Surprise! Wrong pizza! Appeared to be a cheese pizza until I found a couple of pepperoni slices! Nowhere close to a roseattis best! I call to complain and the manager offers to credit my card $ 4 for the toppings they left off! Or I can wait another 20 minutes (ya right in what time zone?) for them to remake it! I said gee I have a better idea you can credit me for the entire order and I brought it back! Settled for fast food and a ruined early Father’s Day treat! m Done with this place never going back! Getting a real pizza from mamma Maria’s in Elmhurst tomorrow!

I grew up on Aurelio’s and I MUCH prefer Rosatis. Personal preference I guess. I’ve tried them all in the area and Rosati’s is still my fave.

There are better local options like Aurelio’s but Rosati’s is open later than most so it’s a good place for a late night snack. We usually order thin crust pizza which isn’t bad. They have takeout and delivery.

The pizzas here are good but they won’t be the best you’ve ever had. I grew up in this area and personally, I prefer Aurelio’s thin crust, sauce, cheese, topping ratio, and quality to Rosati’s. But my family and I like to be thrifty and much prefer the prices of Rosati’s to Aurelio’s.
I would recommend the thin crust just cheese here. And though I am a fan of toppings, I’ve found that their veggie options aren’t very tasty. One time we ordered and the pizza tasted like onions, yet we had ordered no onions, and the next time we actually did order onions, but they tasted sour… like maybe they had gone bad or something.
Tip of the day: Rosati’s is carry out only so get yourself an order of fries, too. They aren’t amazing fries but they’re a delicious little treat to eat on your way home from Rosati’s while you’re tempted by the smell of pizza. Plus, it’s so much easier to eat in the car than pizza.
Ooh– and they deliver late! :)
