The family that owns this place is so sweet! It’s walking distance from my house and they have anything you need for a quick pick up.

This place is closest to my house and they sell booze. Five stars.
In all seriousness, it’s a decent store with a modest selection of what my roommate calls «all of the important beers.» Like many such places, it’s family owned and operated, and has that unmistakable mom ‘n’ pop atmosphere. I can’t say I’d frequent the shop were my residence not a very short walk away, but — given my circumstances — I’m more than happy to push an extra dollar or two their way to help keep them afloat. Sure, you can get liquor at the supermarket and pay less, but where’s the love for local business?
