Great Senseis here! Sensei Takemoto always gives a good practice. Sensei Bone is also a skilled technician. We will be back. It’s worth the hour drive. One tip… If you cone to practice or learn… Make sure you’re down to put in the work. Hajime!

If your serious about Judo, study here. Practice is both intense and informative, the senseis are the real deal, and both the sensei and the judoka are friendly and welcoming IF you take practice seriously. I work a job that often interferes with practice(at any dojo), but they always welcome me back enthusiastically after long absences. I’m also not very athletic, but I try, and they know how to encourage their students well.

Judo is not for everyone. It’s a tough sport and very humbling. Harbor Judo is still«Old School» in that they still practice the core principles of judo. You will get a good sweat and train your body to initiate moves necessary to progress in judo. Also there is a good focus on Newaza(grappling) techniques as well as tachiwaza(standing techniques) to create a well rounded game. If you leave your ego at the door, you will enjoy the experience very much.

Great instructors who really have a passion and love for Judo. Teachers and students are inviting and friendly. Classes are always fun but tough, to ensure you become stronger and better at Judo. Plenty of free parking. Clean facility.
