I ordered takeout from here for the very first time, and I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was I able to order directly from the Unilocal app, but they also accounted for the fundraiser I was attending, as I am a South High student supporting South High’s Academic Decathlon Team. As soon as I arrived, my food was ready for me! I ordered a large pepperoni pizza which was really good! The crust was thick enough and the pizza wasn’t burnt. But by far the highlight was their garlic and butter bread sticks. Holy cow, my family ate those so fast. They were delicious and I would definitely come back for them. The food here is fairly priced and I’ll definitely be coming back sometime soon!

Pizza is pretty good. They have a nice, thick crust and the toppings are fresh. I love the cinnamon sticks– it has a bunch of cinnamon and butter at the bottom. Amazing

Kinda disappointed So when we first had Rizzos’s delivered a few weeks ago, we thought we’d found the antidote to bad, mass-produced pizza. It arrived hot, with abundant toppings, well-balanced sauce and cheese, and most importantly, a beautifully baked, puffy and soft crust. Awesome! Worth the extra ten bucks, no questions asked. Attempt No. 2: not so much. To be fair, it arrived early. But that may have been the problem: undercooked crust, too much cheese, not enough ‘food’ i.e. toppings. Am SO disappointed; was really hoping we’d found a consistant, well-made, almost healthy, alternative to the mainstream choices. Wish Unilocal had a feedback only option — don’t really want to give a low rating, just let Rizzos know. Maybe it’s due to new staff, or more training needed. But there’s no contact info, and they rely on Grubhub to handle the website, so they left me no choice. Inconsistent means 2 stars at best — especially if you’re making your reputation as an independent. Sorry, Rizzo’s.

Amazing service, mouth-watering food, clean house! It’s no wonder I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years!

I give this place a solid 4 stars. Everytime I go there they are so nice. The delivery guys are always nice and pretty quick too. It would be 5 stars if the quality of the pizza always tasted amazing. But sadly I’ve a few that didn’t taste as good. Sometimes they are a little too heavy on the sauce, not enough cheese. Or the crust was a little burnt. But majority of the time, it’s good. I usually order large pizzas from here. But today I only got a slice. It doesn’t look appetizing in the picture, but I ate the whole thing. It was good!

The pizza is delicious but I just called and the lady told me they close at 9pm and don’t take dine in orders over the phone. We drive all the way there, arrive at 7:36pm, and she says they are closing in 15 minutes. Pretty disappointing so we just turned around left.

Approach the counter right after Sam served a gentleman. She completely ignored me and took another gentleman’s order. She did not acknowledge me at all. I have to rate them for poor customer service after that experience. Interestingly enough she has been friendly to all the other male customer.

Their crust is too thick and I’m not sure what the hype is about their garlic knots? Good service but the type of pizza just isn’t for me.

So, I believe we ordered two large two topping pizzas, 20 wings and a salad and the total was $ 65!!! That’s a bit steep but I saw the 4 star rating so we assumed it’ll be worth it, WRONG!!! Clearly the people in the Harbor City/Lomita area don’t know good pizza. However, one thing I must give Rizzo’s Pizza credit for is the freshness of their pizza. It was steaming hot when it arrived. Hot steam was rising from the box when I opened it and the pizza burned my mouth a little. Two stars! Other than that it wasn’t all! It was good but waaaay too doughy and thick. The dough was too heavy and dense(in my opinion), sauce was good, cheese was decent to good(not super high quality but good) but the pepperonis weren’t curled up on the edges(a sign of legit pepperoni). I did like how the cheese and sauce covered the pizza all the way to the edge of the crust! So the crust was more edible than most. NOW, where this place loses points and cred is on their wings. The wings at Rizzo’s are WHAAAACK! They are big but gummy and fatty, A LOT of fat on the wings. Not spicy at all and not very flavorful. We all had to use Franks buffalo sauce on the wings. Smh. In addition, the wings here are oven cooked but weren’t cooked long enough. Clearly a rush job and no TLC put into they wings. Yuck! As for the salad, eh, a ten year old kid could’ve put that salad together. Overall, for $ 65 I was not impressed. Sorry Rizzo’s.

Finally knocked off one of my bookmarks. My brother and his mom have been talking about this place for years, so they finally took me there for dinner. It was super good. Pizza slices were huge with lots of toppings on top. The dough was just right, not too thick and not too thin. The final price for about 10 adults was only $ 75, not too shabby. The only drawback was that it’s hot in the restaurant.

Came to support our family friends’ fundraiser and we got the family deal which was a great value! $ 28 for a 16″ two topping pizza, 4 drinks, a big salad, and your choice of cinnamon or garlic knots. Um everything was eh. I think the pizza dough is lacking flavor and just thicker than what I like. I liked the marinara and crispy pepperonis. The knots were good, but looked like pizza crust in margarine and cinnamon/sugar or parmesan and garlic. The knots were still good though. I wish they had a good ranch. I think it was just bottled. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place. It reminded me of a place you would go to after a night of drinking and think it tasted amazing.

12⁄24: My bro called to surprise me with food from here when I actually already ordered. My order was $ 21 + a tip and they called my brother back to tell him they were bombarded with orders but never called me to return my money or deliver what I ordered. I’m pissed and find that their laziness in not taking 2 minutes or less to dial 10 numbers, give me a refund or promise deliver on the next business day. This is not proper business etiquette. If they fix this issue then all will be good. Really disappointed in Rizzos. They fixed the issue. Update: 12⁄28 I placed an order through Unilocal and as you can see from the pictures EVERYTHING was a mess. The«stuffed shells» weren’t closed all the way and the sauce was spilling from the container and falling out of the bag. Just careless. The delivery employee was kind and the food so far is okay. Not sure I can give 3 stars maybe I’ll give them a try another time. Right now I’m just disappointed as to how extremely messy the delivery/presentation is. The«stuffed shells«were hard to find because there was so much soup… I mean sauce. Just hard to enjoy. The garlic bread was good but I’m sorry I had to waste the shells. Really pissed for what I paid.
