My wife and I were in the area and we stopped to try the wines by Ave. I must say that the wines were some of the best we’ve sampled, especially the reserve Cabernet and select Chardonnay. Bob was serving uni and we sampled it with his many infused olive oils and vinegars, delicious! We look forward to our next visit, it sure won’t be soon enough.

Excellent wine, plus great owners. Their olive oil is excellent too!

Came into AVE on new years eve with family from Lompoc who were trying it for the first time too. Great wine and amazing service. I would definitely go again.

I decided to try Ave wine after a referral for a party that I threw with a bunch mates, by far the favorite out of all the places we tried. The white wine is super sweet and goes down smooth, but they have loads of different wines you can try at the wine ghetto, so your bound to find at least 2 that speak to you and touch your soul.

Ave tasting room is a hidden gem away from the ghetto, in front of the big industrial building(Zotovich I think) up the stairs. Plenty of parking off of 12 st. on the unpaved lot in front of the tasting room. Good thing about them is that they have a patio with tables outside, where you can enjoy the view of the mountain and the intersection of 246 and 12 st. I tasted their delicious wine: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and finished with a Port. They also have many different kinds of Olive oil infused with different flavors. Dip them with bread and vinegar to complement with wine is the best.

Just visited this winery today… I highly recommend the 2012 pinot($ 49). Great structure and wonderful on the palate… a new vintner here in Santa Rita. Worth visiting!
