Jo’s Taxi

My female friend called her at 11:00 pm for a ride from the Shamrock to her home on the westside of Lompoc. Jo said she would be out front in 10 minutes so I waited with my friend outside the entire time plus another 20 minutes and she never showed up. A month later the same friend called me from the wine ghetto and said she called Jo over an hour ago and again she was a no show so I gave her a ride home. Just a few weeks ago I called for a ride from the Sham to my home. Jo said again there would be a 10 minute wait so I went directly outside and waited 30 minutes for another no show. Another friend called her and she did show up but after he saw her car had been rear ended and she looked to be «more impaired to drive than he was» he refused her service and called me for a ride home. I know I wont use her again and I know both of these friends wont either. I known she has a few faithful followers so maybe she takes care of them first.

Reliable and friendly, Jo will get you there safely. She’s a little woman with a big heart. I’m glad Jo got herself out from under Promenade and started her own business where she can use her own car rather than have to worry about leasing from another company. There is no Über or Lyft around here. So if you want a cab in Lompoc, call Jo. If you need to get to Jalama or Surf or make a winery run, call Jo. I’m going to be calling her because el pinche ADA bus isn’t always available to get me home. :(
