Arbors At London Skilled Nursing Center

This place earns a 0 star, but that was not an option. My grandmother stayed here for 2 years too long. Her family lived close so we decided to place her here. She choked very easily, yet was placed at the furthest room at the end of the hall and most times was left there alone to eat. There is no socialization between the residents. no games. activities. not even so much as getting them out of their room… accept to be alone in a wheelchair in the hallway outside their door once in a while. It looked like a death camp. My grandmother was left soiled numerous times. She had bed sores and on 3 occasions had infections. Leaving her there was a HUGE mistake. The last straw was when she got a UTI for the 3^rd time. It was so bad because they had waited so long to take her to the hospital that she nearly died. She did not return. She was moved to Springfield, further away but 100% better care. Arbors did not pay their aids enough, nor do they staff the required amount. The few who did care were the only ones who worked. One aid couldn’t believe it took that long for us to get her out of there. Do not take your family there unless you just want them to die. This place is a hell hole… I hate it… DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE UNLESS YOU DON’T LOVE THEM, IN WHICH CASE, IT WILL SUIT YOU WELL!
