Food was ok. Service very very slow. Burger was better than veal piccata which was too oily and chewy. Tasted like it was frozen food. At least burger tasted freash. Tortilla chips were stall but salsa good. House wine price for serving size was great. Alot of the dinners had seafood we don’t eat so maybe if you like seafood this may be better.

I’ve been sitting here for 49 mins and I still have no food! There is one waitress on for a Saturday at lunch. We had to seat ourselves, waited to be asked for a drink order for 15 minutes, I finally got up and grabbed my own menu. Chips were cold and stale! Finally ordered something and had to ask for it to go because I can’t wait any longer… yet here I sit and STILLWAIT! I ordered a salad and a chimichanga. The place is dirty as well… clean your shades!!!

Excellent food! The menu is extensive, the drinks are great, the service was awesome. Not a single complaint. The portions are extremely generous and appropriately priced. My only regret is not having tried this place sooner. Definitely the best food I’ve had in this area. I have to admit, I’m delighted and in all honesty, I’m rarely delighted. An absolute must try!

Awww, my first date with my sweetie was in the tavern side… We now have been there 4 times and have been happy with the service, delighted by the quality food, and overwhelmed by the portions. Excellent drinks, fair prices, and yummy chips&salsa while you look over the Mexican & Italian choices. I’ve had different entrée’s each time: Gorgonzola Caribbean chicken salad, veal picatta, eggplant parm, and chimichanga… Yes, first date salad, months later– deep fried ;) you should go on a casual family night

My friends and family had been telling me to come here for ages but I never thought of it. Over the weekend, my wife and I were driving past and decided to stop in. The place was empty so we were a little nervous. We started with the spinach dip which we both loved a little too much. By the time our meals arrived we were stuffed! I got the spinach salad with blackened chicken which was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. My wife went with the old spaghetti and meatball staple which she said was very good. I’m looking forward to getting a bite from her leftovers when I’m not too full to think about food!

We found this gem when we moved to Londonderry two years ago and tried all the local places — it looked nondescript on the outside so we waited until we had tried most of the competion before going — big mistake! It’s one of our favorites and we wish we had gone sooner! The family recipes from both the Italian and Mexican sides are equally authentic and delicious. Meals are cooked to order, so don’t go in a rush. Our favorites are the Tre Formaggi, sinfully rich with a Gorgonzola cheese blend out of this world, and the Jambalaya Pasta which has a spicy kick and fabulous mussels on top. Enjoy the free chips and salsa while you wait for your meals, which are generous enough that you can plan on leftovers for lunch. Ambitious menu with many choices in reasonable price range starting around $ 10 and most under $ 20, including many of the typically more expensive seafood dinners. Casual atmosphere, not an upscale date night, family friendly but not overrun with kids, and the ones we’ve seen have had great restaurant manners.

I lived in the northend in Boston and the fradiavolo and mussels here are just as good! My boyfriend got the chicken Alfredo and said the chicken was cooked perfectly and sauce was great. Portions are huge and drinks are cheap! Lots of wine in each glass :) we also really liked out bartender. I really recommend giving this place a try. Good vibe in the bar area.

Undercooked rubbery chicken. And a bone in the enchiladas. Wow. waitress ackonwedged the chicken and her only response was«ill ask if we can get it removed». Not coming back

For the life of me, I cannot understand why people are giving this place any props. Went on a Monday night so there were very few people there. I got shredded tacos and my wife got a chicken parm sub. Folks, that was the DRIEST chicken I’ve even attempted to taste. It was absolutely pre-frozen chicken that was fried into oblivion. I had the shredded Mexican beef tacos. When I say bland, I’m talking«like unfrozen beef» flavor. Not taco seasoned at all. How is it ok not to throw seasoning into the pan? And I ain’t no salt guy, but this stuff was BLAND. Bottom line? Avoid this place and drive on.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I got food poisoning from eating a cheeseburger here. Luck of the draw, you might say… But that’s not the only gross thing about this place. This seems like a classic case of too many things done, very few of them done well. Huge portions of tasteless«Tex-Mex» and Italian food that tastes like Beefaroni. Completely unappetizing. Their drinks are so strongly made, they’re not even enjoyable. I got a specialty cocktail and it tasted like jungle juice and dish water. The only people I can see enjoying this place are townie alcoholics who are too lazy to leave the area to get food that can be enjoyed on the most basic level. Don’t go here, just don’t.

I have had many meals here both in the bar and restaurant. Overall I find the dinner menu bland no matter what I order. The only exception would be the sandwiches. I would recommend the bar and bar type foods here. Other than that go some place else for a full menu. The staff has always been pleasant and accommodating. Prices are responsible also. A few updates to the menu would go a long way…

Stopped by while shopping in NH on a Saturday afternoon. Would expect to see this place on Kitchen Nightmares or Restaurant Impossible. Italian and Mexican cuisine. Waited at the door for several minutes with no hostess before going into the darkened bar area. Chips were served in an unlined basket. The basket was turning black on the edges. Chicken enchiladas were gross. I had to stop eating because I was afraid of choking on the bones and ligament I kept finding not to mention the grease that was separating into pools on the plate. BFs chicken burrito was not better. Raw onions inside. Same chicken. Mexican rice and refried beans were just not good. White plate was also turning black. We would avoid this place if ever in the area again.

Very good casual restaurant that has been a favorite with the locals in Londonderry for 20 years. Food is quite good, plentiful and the portions are huge! The menu is a mix of Italian and Mexican dishes — with a few«American» pub standards thrown in – all of it prepared well. The food at Café Teresa is made from scratch — nothing out of bags, boxes or pouches here! They have some interesting appetizers as well — several kinds of wings(Barbados wings are very good), Chipotle Shrimp and Rhode Island style Calamari. They have excellent Margaritas too. I know a couple of the waitresses personally and they will go there for dinner or to meet friends even on their days off — to me that’s the ultimate recommendation. If the people who know what goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen eat there, you know everything is fine!

As I came to Unilocal to write this review I was so surprised to find that Café Teresa’s had 3.5 stars. Maybe it if for their Italian menu, if so they should definitely give up the Mexican. My husband and I had been given a gift certificate so figured we try the place out. My husband had steak tacos, this was the toughest steak either of us had ever eaten. I had a chimichanga which as another review, wrote about was absolutely huge but awful. And to top it off the food was served barely room temperature. My husband and I both love Mexican food and have had very good Mexican around Manchester NH, but I would strongly recommend staying AWAY from Café Teresa’s. If you want great Mexican head for La Carretta(Manch, Derry and Nashua). They are about the best we’ve had, and maybe we just won’t bother trying any place else anymore. Hope this is helpful. :-)

I don’t want to be unkind, but Café Teresa definitely served me the worst tacos I’ve ever had so far in my life. Having grown up in Londonderry, I remember this place always being packed, and when I returned for a visit recently the restaurant was still there and packed. So I decided that it had to be decent if it lasted 10+ years. Wow, was I wrong. Now, I really can’t speak to the Italian side of the menu, but the Bean & Guac tacos were simply terrible and tasteless. It was as if they came directly out of cans from the«international foods» section of the grocery store, and then were set under a heat lamp for hours to de-flavor them even more. The portions were large, but since the tacos weren’t good it was a waste. I couldn’t even finish them, this was the first time I couldn’t finish a taco. Luckily they weren’t as over priced as the rest of the menu appeared to be. Maybe Café Teresa is great for drinks, but certainly 1 star for the tacos.

The good and the bad… First of all overall this place was great. Y boyfriends food was good The margaritas were good! Nice girls working ! The reason for my bad stars is because I got a salad. It literally had about a quarter inch of water in it. I took a few bites and it turned into coleslaw! I was very nice about it and got something else. They offered me half off my salad. I find that SO tacky. Who offers half off? The salad sucked so I had to pay half? Still thankful they gave us half off but come on! I’m not looking for anything free here but alright.
