FedEx Ship Center

Somehow this Fed Ex always manages to ring my doorbell so I don’t hear it. I leave notes on the door to drop my package at the apartment office if I am not home and they are ignored. I ask them to ring the buzzer or call me, it does not happen. I have been home for all 3 drop off attempts where it was noted «nobody available to sign for package». You should try ringing the buzzer if you want someone to sign. I called the help number to ask if it could be held at the location for pickup, but because I am the person receiving the item (as opposed to the one that shipped it) they are not able to make the change. Really? the person who is receiving the package can’t make a change to the time or location of the drop off? Up yours fed ex. UPS all the way.

About 10 years ago I took my package to the 10 Industrial Drive, Londonderry NH ship center. It was the first time I’d shipped via FedEx. I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter even though I was the only customer. I don’t give people an attitude so I don’t know why I got this response, which I remember well: «Don’t you dare roll your eyes at me! Wipe that f***king look of your face or get the hell out now.» I have not done business with FedEx from that day. If I have to ship it’s UPS or USPS. I’ve shipped hundreds of eBay packages over those ten years and I’m pleased to say that this one bitch has cost FedEx a few hundred dollars. Don’t even know if she still works for the company, but FedEx had their one chance and blew it completely.

If I could give zero stars I would they’re f******* horrible, my wife ordered a $ 700 package and because we’re in Lawrence, MA they were afraid to get out of truck and ring the doorbell. Claim they did this twice but they did not. the managers are useless. We then arraigned for it to be picked up about 35 minutes away, got there and they had it on the truck for delivery. I will never use fedex again

Worst experience I have ever had from a shipping company.
I had 3 packages from the same company being shipped to me.
2 arrived together on a Wednesday.
After calling (the 800#, no local number available) and speaking to someone who barely spoke english, I was told my 3^rd (and largest) package would arrive before 7pm THAT NIGHT, Wednesday. It was already 6pm.
At 7:10pm I called when no package arrived. The non-​english speaking man said «Since no arrival Weds, it will be Friday now.»
Another call, on Friday when my package STILL didn’t show up, some non-​english (OK enough, they were Indian!) speaking woman answered. She told me my package would not arrive until the next Monday, don’t need a signature.
I ended up calling back right after I hung up with her, and got another Indian man, because I was confused about the new «monday delivery» date and I could barely understand her accent.
He told me Friday. Signature required.
1 Monday, and 2 Friday answers.
When did I receive it?
Saturday morning. I had a giant «PLEASE RING DOORBELL WE ARE HOME» sign up for 4 days. He rang at 9am. No signature required.
I will avoid Fed Ex at all costs, from now on.
If I have no choice in who ships, and its Fed Ex, I will literally buy from another company, or drive to pick up in store.
This all happened on Thanksgiving day/​Black Friday, so you can imagine how frustrated we were, when we had to be home on Black Friday morning (leave thanksgiving early, no overnighter like planned!) to be home for Fed Ex, signature, etc.
For no reason.

FedEx is a great company and super reliable. I am sure if the senior managers at FedEx were to see the inefficiencies at this ship center they would be appalled, specifically for their Saturday service. Only one attendant was able to help during the Christmas rush, busiest time for packages. There were no pens to help customers and each transaction seemed overly complicated like we were the first people ever to send, receive or pick up a package. We are paying a premium for expedited weekend service but received service less than the USPS. I recommend you avoid this ship center.
