So to start with the positives, there was a decent amount of seating given how small the brewery is, the bartender was super friendly and the prices really great (about $ 20 for 3 flights and a glass). The downside is that the beer really isn’t very good. I only liked one of the beers in my flight and I use the term «like» very loosely.

My Saturday took a turn for the better last week when my husband and I stopped into the From the Barrel brewery. This is a great family run business with a delicious selection of beer. We both opted for a 5 beer flight that came with a FTB glass. The brewers do a great job of explaining the flavor profile and also the background on the beer i.e. who they are named after and why. The atmosphere was inviting and filled with fellow beer lovers. We found out that FTB is one stop on a beer tour. There were 4 – 5 other breweries in the same vicinity that we decided to explore when we finished I highly recommend grabbing a few growlers enjoy them when your tour is over!

The beer is amazing! Very small family run brewery. The owners are very nice and fun to talk to. Their 4 oz tasters are only 1.00 a piece. I haven’t tried a beer there I didn’t like.

Great crowd here and a nice selection of beers. I’ve been sent here before to pick up growlers of Elle that my hops-​addicted husband and brother love, but I tried out a flight today and really like the REM. Staff is friendly.

This family owned and operated nano brewery is just too adorable. Not only is the beer delicious but the décor, the presentation of the flights and the merchandise is on point too — good job to your designer who I hear is the mother!
I love that this business is keeping it in the family and bringing locally crafted beer to the area — they are making some seriously dangerous brews too — the habanero beer is by far my favorite and if you have a chance to get a Growler, do it!!!

Great beer selection. The Lily IPA and Remedy Porter are fantastic. The flights are a good place to start if you’re not familiar with their beer.
