Rescon Basement Solutions

We had a number of fixes done to our basement to keep it dry.
Involved a fair amount of work routing discharge pipes, installing a dehumidifier.
We felt the price was well within reason, and Rescon was VERY professional every step along they way. Always did what they said they would do, on time and with little mess.
We are very happy and will use them again: highly recommend.

I have a cape style home that was built in the 1950s. Seasonally (spring and fall) with the thaw or heavy rain, we experienced everything from puddles up to 2 inches of water in our basement. Last Decemeber, after a heavy rain, surprise, water in the basement. At that point, I decided I never wanted to deal with it again. I reached out to 3 local waterproofing contractors. After meeting with all the contractors that came out, we decided to go have Rescon Basement Solutions do the work. We found our project Project Manager, Beth Murch, to be the most knowledgeable out of the 3 we met with. We decided to have the work done as soon as possible. To our surprise, they were able to do the waterproofing in the winter. One of our water issues was our walls would leak. Rescon came in and put a sealed wall liner up that then drains the water into a French drain system they installed. We also had a sump pump in the floor in a 5 gallon bucket, that didn’t do much of anything. We upgraded to their pumping system with a closed lid. The project only took 4 days. It was unbelievable the amount of work accomplished in such a short period of time. These guys were great! Most importantly, even with all the snow we got last winter, not one drop of water in our basement this spring.

We have had a water problem in our basement for years and for years we would vacuum it up. There are many companies to choose from in the basement waterproofing business, but I did due diligence in researching Rescon and had a neighbor’s recommendation. I decided to install a sump pump system. Bob Brewster came out to look at the problem. His low key, no pressure approach was exactly what I was looking for. On the day of the scheduled work, Bob arrived to oversee the project. The crew arrived on time and we made some last minute changes that optimized the drainage away from the house. The three man crew, Mark, Axel and Fernando, did an excellent job. There was no mess, no dust, and the pump and drainage channel look great. I am so pleased not to have to worry about the water problem in the basement, be free of the mold associated with standing water, and not have to vacuum and dump pails of water. The office staff was great to work with as well. Katie Roemer was very responsive to any questions I had. I was really impressed with the work Rescon did and the service they provided.
