Two stars because the beer was cold. Food was not good. Steak sandwich had 4 tiny strips of steak on it and no flavor. Quesadillas we very very greasy and were made of ground hamburger and cheese… I didn’t know you could actually screw up a quesadilla but it was not edible. Food service was slow. It was completely dead on a Friday night. We got there at 715 and we were told that food was only going to be served until 9 because of the weather so we immediately felt rushed. We left hungry and even after we talked to the server about the sandwiches, they didn’t comp anything, they didn’t even offer. One of us got fried fish and she said it was good. We won’t go back. Someone has invested lots of money in this place but they will need to make some changes or they won’t make it. Good luck.

I paid for a party for 10 – 15 people here and figured any additional people could pay for their own drinks and food. The owner absolutely refused to talk to me himself and kept sending the poor server over to keep telling me I was going to have to pay for more people and I owed more money. First off any small business in a small town should welcome any and all business and not ruin a birthday celebration. The owner flat out told me he didn’t need me or my friends and family’s money. He wouldn’t even look me in the eye because he knew he was wrong. It’s really too bad that he made his server lose money and would put an employee in the position to deal with an upset customer. I have been a restaurant manager for 20 years and never treated a customer like that. He doesn’t need the business so he says so I would just drive a few miles up the road and do as he pleases. My friends and I will no longer spend the couple hundred dollars a month at his business since he’s doing just fine without my money. Mr. Mullet owner here a clue for you… take customer service and management classes before you open a business that survives on customer service!!!

As far as the atmosphere it was nice. But everything else was defiantly not. The service was under par. Couldn’t even get cheese on a burger when asked. The food came out barley warm and didn’t have much taste. So with getting shitty food you pay out the ass for it. The alcohol was outrageous as well $ 20 for 2 glasses of cheap moscato is ridiculous! Defiantly won’t be back and that place won’t last long with shitty food and the high prices especially in Lone Jack

i don’t recognize what the two negative reviewers were talking about, because: the food is good, the drinks are tasty, the beer is plentiful, and the owner is clearly trying out things to make a better place and a better experience. I have never seen wireless orderpads like the order-takers use, but speed and efficiency is the goal here. Give the guy credit for a good initial idea and the gumption to try to improve it at the same time. The steak sliders are superb, the hamburgers are excellent, way above what sonic can produce, and if you like sweet potato fries– well, he has them here. A pizza oven is coming soon, a new concrete patio is just been completed, the seats are comfortable, the crowds are friendly, the owner is a decent guy, approachable and friendly. Anybody expecting a flawless opening, from anything other than the parachute on their back, is not being reasonable or fair. I have been there over ten times, and I have found many reasons to come back, and I will.

This may be the best exercise in how NOT to open a business in recent memory. We went on a recent Friday evening a little after they opened at 5 o’clock to check it out. Having watched the build over the last few months, we could not wait to try out something close to home other than the normal local fare. The first indication things were not up to snuff was when the waitress handed us one food stained menu for the whole table… Next when we asked what beers were on Happy Hour we were told there was no Happy Hour… even though it clearly says on the web site Happy Hour 5 – 6 with $ 3 beers… Back to the menu, only burgers a slider and I think nachos were offered… plus at an additional cost of $ 5 for fries or onion rings to the $ 6 burgers. My burger was fine. although, and I hate to say this, I could get a better one across the drive at Sonic for less $$ with fries included. The other burgers were crispy to the point of comments about maybe they were dropped in charcoal because of the crunchy edges! And the $ 6 onion rings… we got 5 in our order… not acceptable. Not to be outdone, the bill arrived on the tablet another reviewer mentioned. I was told how much it cost and never offered to see my bill or an itemized receipt … Just pay me what I say you owe… I told the server that was the worst idea ever in the food industry … She only shrugged and took my money… but NEVER again. When this place goes out of business in the next few weeks someone will pick up a nice space with lots of TVs and hopefully turn it into a real sports bar.

Great food! Incredibly friendly service with large portions. Great staff and pleasant atmosphere. Large screens with sports playing all the time.
