Party of 13… accommodates right away! Pizza is traditional and fabulous! Spinach salad was Delish with a great dressing. Seasonal beers and mouth watering canolli. Ashton was one of the best servers I’ve ever had anywhere! Great experience for some softball fams from So cal. Highly recommend it!

This place was fantastic! We have been looking for a good pizza place south of Denver and we have finally found one! The service was on point and the pizza was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be going here again!

We have eaten at the Grimaldi’s down at the sixteenth street mall and have to say it was way better than this one. The service was pretty good, but the pizza unfortunately wasn’t what we were used too. My wife and I both got personal pizzas and it seemed like there wasn’t very much cheese on them. Luckily for my son, his pepperoni was very good. Like I said before we have a pretty day good track record with Grimaldi’s. I’m going to give it three stars for now because I think the fact it wasn’t very good was an anomaly, we’ll be back in and hopefully I’ll be able to update this review with a better rating.

The place is very nice inside and the pizza is good. It lacked more cheese, better toppings, and more selective menu items. It was over priced, grilled chicken tasted it was processed rather than fresh, and coffee consisted of specialty items only. What’s up with that! I won’t go back because I found the place nothing special. Hands down, Brio has them beat!

Decent pizza, but the slowest kitchen around(only rivaled by On The Border). Have eaten here several times and each and EVERY time the kitchen has been incredibly slow to get food out. Parry’s pizza is at least as good, and Big Bill’s is definitely better. Both are nearby and in fact, I might suggest calling in an order at either one after you’ve sat down at Grimaldi’s, running to pick the other pizza up, and bring it back to your table, and you’ll likely still beat Grimaldi’s kitchen, and have a better result to eat. Just tonight we decided to try to beat grimaldi’s at their own game, and ordered take out(because we were at the mall and it was convenient). So I called and placed the order at 8:30pm(exactly 8:31 when I hung up). I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Now, most places hedge their bet a little with the estimated time, but knowing their lack of speed, I gave them the full 30, and walked in right at 9pm. I paid at the bar and was told«it’ll be about 5 – 7 minutes». Ok… At 9:15 the manager — who hadn’t acknowledged me sitting there clearly frustrated for 15 minutes — told me as he walked by «it’s being boxed now.» I need to point something out. Having worked at my share of pizza places in my youth, I happen to know it takes about 12 – 15 minutes to bake a pizza. Hmmm So I asked the manager if he could explain why it took so long, having ordered at 8:30. I was fed a line(sorry for the eating pun, I’m hungry) that the kitchen was just busy(the restaurant was only half full at best). Which means that extremely coincidentally, their kitchen slowed enough to get my pizza in right when I walked in the door?! So the manager appears to be a liar. I gave him the chance to say ‘we goofed, sorry about that’ but he didn’t have the stones to do it. Stupid move. I won’t be spending my money there again. It’s about customer service people. Your pizza is not THAT good.

Honestly, the pizza was just ok! I’ve enjoyed Grimaldi’s in NY and Dallas and felt something was missing at this location. Maybe my expectation were higher. Will try again soon!

Some friends from New York introduced me to this fab pizzeria today in Denver as the original Grimaldi’s is in NYC. I started with a Mediterranean salad that could have fed two or three I didn’t know it was so huge but it’s great because I already have my next meal ready for here at home. Fresh ingredients… yummy! Then I chose the Garden Pizza and added artichokes and garlic. It was fabulous! The coal-fired brick oven cooks that baby fast and the aroma and flavors were just right!!! Sodas and iced tea were served in glasses(not cheap plastic) and our server kept them full! We will be back soon!

I really wanted to like this place but there were a few factors that made me rate it so low. in my mind, I always start off with 5 stars and let things go from there. Along the way, the stars stay or they get dropped for one reason or another. Here are my reasons, it took an awful long time to get our food to us. This is not a reflection of our waitress as she was great. She even came over and apologized that it was taking so long. She offered us some salads while we waited. — 1 Star but again, not her fault. Second, the bill was quite a bit of money for what we had. 2 personal pizza’s and a small calzone. It came to about $ 60 after a $ 10 off coupon. I thought the individual prices for toppings were very expensive and not worth the money. My wife did have one glass of wine but it was the house wine. — 1 Star for value. Third, I was very happy to leave it at three stars but in the morning, my wife woke up very sick and so did my roommate. They said the food didn’t sit well with them and their stomach was very upset. I did not have an upset stomach, but I ate the calzone. — 1 star for each person who was sick. I did want to like this place but it’s not worth the price for what you get and I can guarantee that my roommate and my wife will never go back due to getting sick from there.

Great pizza for being in Denver. Has that nice crispy bubbly crust that is ever present in the NY pizza realm. Good service, only downside is the single bathroom. Also, kids menus would help as well.

It’s good, but not so good I’d go back when I could go to Patxi’s instead.

We love Grimaldis! I was so very excited when my fave restaurant from my hometown of Vegas arrived in the great state of Colorado. We drive close to 35 minutes to come here at least once a month.

Can’t believe that Yardhouse was packed and we were able to walk right in here. So, let me spread the good word. Grimaldi’s has some fantastic coal oven fired pizza. Some decent craft brews on tap too. We split a salad and both got our own pies. Pizzas were out very quickly. Margherita for the lady and the meaty Don for me. Meatballs, sausage, pepperoni and ricotta on mine. Loved it. Pizza had a nice crust and a good char. Even the leftovers were good.

Wow, worst pizza ever. You are better off getting delivery or eating a bowl of cereal. The ingredients are so poor. Our salad lacked flavor, the tomatoes were anemic and the mozzarella was basically store bought. They don’t make anything in house, the tomato sauce on the pizza is straight from a can, there’s barely any on your pie, then that add the same poor cheese. We were shocked it was so bad, when all they serve is pizza. Take a pass on this place. The bartender provided excellent service!

Went to a Grimaldi’s in South Carolina and ordered a calzone. They burned the first one so had to bring it to us a second time. The second was so good that we decided to order one after returning back to Colorado. We stopped in to the one over in park Meadows here, and they burned the first one so had to bring us a second one. We had gotten it to go, so didn’t think to check in the box. Of course when we got home, discovered the second was also burned. Do not think we will be going back to Grimaldis again.

We went to this location recently with friends in order to recreate and reminisce our tradition in Arizona of going to Grimaldi’s. It was good to do this with our friends in Denver. Same quality of food as Arizona’s Grimaldis. Great pizza and salad. Kids love the dough to play with. The best part of this place there is no wait. Usually in Arizona it would be at least a 1 hour wait on a good day.

This pizza was not that great… Highly disappointed. For 24 dollars you expect a pretty nice pizza. It was cold… the crust was hard as a rock. And it was very bland… Nothing special at all. We asked for double cheese and it barely looked like a regular cheese pizza. It’s quite pricey for what you get and you are still hungry after. Not worth it…

What a change from the prior pizza place. Server was incredibly nice and had detailed knowledge about the food. Pizza was exactly the way I like it — thin crust yet crispy to the point it held its shape with the signature wood fired char. An inviting spot that looks like a NYC Italian place. Will definitely be back

As someone who used to work at one of the original Grimaldis in Scottsdale, AZ I can’t even begin to tell you how great it is to see one here. Great place for banquets, even better place for Calzones. Will absolutely be making this place my second home away from home.

Has anyone else gotten food poisoning from this place? At first we thought one of our pizzas was just soggy but we took a second look at it & the dough was raw. My husband got really sick from it!!! Our second pizza was pretty tasty but the bread was burnt, is that how NY style pizzas are? The salad we had was fresh & delicious. These pizzas are a bit pricey for what they are. Definitely was our first & last time eating here.

While I was dissapointed about the closing of Bonanno Brothers, this is the next best option in my opinion for best NY style pizza. It helps they have a chemist to ensure their dough and water is identical to the pies made in NY. I honestly would give this place 10 stars if I could. Their desserts are also amazing as well. The décor is impecable with those wine bottle lights. It is very classy and elegant and would say these beats other Grimaldis I have been to.
