Extremely poor customer service. Their cashiers are so SLOW in checking out, even snails move a lot faster. All their store sales people are extremely rude and stuck-up, and they all act and look like they have cancer. There was one time, I was waiting in the checkout line. This scraggly old woman with a rude, stuck-up attitude asked the person who just came up seconds behind me to come forward to be checked out instead. However, I was next in line and she looked at me like she did nothing wrong which is very rude and unfair-think this store hires racist people. Not sure why this store hasn’t been shut down for poor customer service. Nothing special about their items and all of their merchandise can be found from other retailers for only 1⁄3 of the price so it’s a total rip-off buying from them. Since then, I avoided going to this WS store.

If you’re looking for specialty gift items for the foodie in your circle of friends… this is the place to go. Their spices, oils and other food items are carefully curated. Of course, they’re not cheap. However, you can’t find some of their items in other stores. If you haven’t tried their Potlach seasoning on Salmon… then you haven’t lived. Just kidding, I’m not that judgmental… but you REALLY should try it. It’s delicious. This is one of the few places where I could easily spend thousands of dollars in one trip if I bought everything I wanted. Maybe once I learn how to crap money, then I’ll do that. In the meantime, I budget.

+ I really love this store for the fun gadgets, ideas, unique tableware, and friendly service. Examples: I picked up a gorgeous flatware while it was on sale before Thanksgiving and recently got a Cuisinart ice cream machine that I LOVE(that is priced similarly at other stores)! –I don’t go for the prices. Case in point: one Christmas I got their vanilla handcut marshmallows because I thought it would be a special treat in cocoa. They tasted JUST like Kraft Jetpuffed marshmallows. My teenaged-son exclaimed«You paid WHAT for marshmallows?!?» Yes, $ 17.50 for marshmallows. Value: check other options for better prices on the same products first; choose accordingly Selection: everything you could need for a well-stocked(equipment-wise) kitchen Snob factor: through the ROOF! Beautiful displays: undoubtedly Olfactory experience: it always smells great in there! Staff: always very helpful, friendly, and efficient; they seem to enjoy their jobs.

Ooh lala! I do love Williams & Sonoma. While it is a big corporate chain it fills a nitch. It is part cooking gallery, part fine foods and part high end China & Glass. It can be expensive but they also have some excellent sales and deals. I have two of the incredible copper cooking vessels from W & S and they will last a lifetime. I can gaze at all the beautiful things for hours if allowed to just wander. Someday I want one of those OMG cappuccino makers. For now I will just have to ogle them. I recommend you stop in and splurge on at least a beautifully scented counter spray for your kitchen… YAY I love this place!

Going into this store makes me want to make EVERYTHING. I love kitchen gadgets, recipes, trinkets and little things that inspire me to be more creative in the store. The ladies working today were really laid back and friendly. The organization of the store makes it really easy to progress through the store.

I love all the great items in this store. This is a great place to browse and check out some really neat items for your kitchen. I like to go every so often and see what new gadgets they’ve come up with. The store is pretty expensive, and many items can be found elsewhere at a cheaper price, but some items are just really neat and it is fun to treat yourself here once in a while. The staff is very friendly. The staff was knowledgable on most items but lacked some critical knowledge on a few items. Not a bad experience and fun to go check out the new gadgets.

I LOVE Williams-Sonoma! They have fantastic kitchen and home accessories. The employees at the Shopping Resort location are very friendly and helpful(a FAR cry from their sister store Pottery Barn). The store is very clean and well laid out. My only complaint… $$$$ Too Expensive $$$$ You can buy the same gadgets, machines, pans, mixes, etc. for half the price at Crate and Barrel and Sur la Table. If you are into pay for the name … shop here… if not … get your ideas here and shop elsewhere.
