I stopped by here for lunch one day on my break and ordered a sandwich. I then took it back to my office in DTC only to find I was given half a sandwich that was soggy and disgusting. I called and let the cashier know and he said he would leave a note for the manager to call me. The manager called the next day and said if I stopped by he would leave a note for the cashier to refund my money. I drove there on my break again only to find the cashier had no knowledge of the incident and was therefore unable to process the refund. I called the manager the next day and expressed my frustration. He asked if I would be willing to give him my card information over the phone and he would process the refund so I didn’t have to drive over there for the third day in a row. I did so and he said he would process the refund after the lunch rush. That was one week ago and I have yet to be refunded. Not work the energy or money to go here for lunch.

Disappointment abounds at Woody Creek Bakery & Café in Park Meadows Mall. I love baked goods — and I have the girth to prove it. I had some time to kill at Park Meadows Mall and needed to get some work done in the process. I scooped out the entire«culinary scene» at the Mall before I selected a place to nab a snack. Let me begin by saying the coffee was completely acceptable. The café had on display an array of muffins, all loaded — loaded, I tell you! — with berries and the like. I selected an absolutely delicious looking raspberry muffin. Once selected, the red flag raised. Rather than nab the baked good from the display case — which is the norm at these types of establishments … the server said this will take a moment and went into the back. In a timely manner she reappeared with my much anticipated muffin in a bag. I paid and made my way to a table in front of a burning fireplace … ready to catch up on work and enjoy my muffin. Sadly, unlike the muffin on display(loaded with large chunks of raspberry), the one I got literally lacked a single bit of raspberry. It did have some straggling remnants of what looked like raspberry purée. To make matters worse, it doesn’t taste very good at all. I’ve experienced a classic bait and switch … at a bakery, for God’s sake! Because ’tis the Christmas season, good Old Saint Nick is going to give you a pile of coal for the manner in which you conduct your baked good affairs. Shame! Shame! Shame! But, the coffee was completely acceptable.

Early this morning, I purchased a raspberry muffin that had clearly been covered for sometime in plastic. The top was sticky and the muffin under cooked. There were serveral nice muffins in the display, but the gentleman who served me went in the back to get one that they needed to get rid of.

Amazing soups and the cookies are home made little balls of delicious. Fresh salads and sandwiches. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the service which doesn’t really like customers.

I got a BLTA here and the bacon was undercooked, soft, and slimy. It rendered the $ 8 sandwich inedible. I feel like I spent money just to be repulsed. It kind of ruined my day, to be honest. I will not be dining at Woody Creek ever again.

Had the avocado chicken salad sandwich with coffee. All were very good. Customer service was also good. Why is it so hard to find somewhere like this where you can get something healthy, fresh and tasty. Less junk food more bakeries. Would definitely eat here again.
