Took the family to see Beauty and the Beast last night and I was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. The last time I saw Beauty and the Beast was in 1993, when I believe it had just arrived in LA from NY., it was so great that it had become one of my fav. shows of all time and I wanted to share the experience with my now husband and kids. When I purchased the tickets several months ago on goldstar, I thought I was buying tickets for the Disney production and thought it was for the Pantages. Lol That being said, I WASBLOWNAWAY by the production value ie. Set Design(incredible) Costumes(unbelievable) Singing and acting(superb) Orchestra(top notch) in a nutshell, 3D Theatricals put on a production that was worthy of showing at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood! I am now a fan of this company and look forward seeing The Full Monty in spring AND Hello Dolly in the summer. Bravo and Standing Ovation!

Wow!!! The productions by 3D are fabulous. Ragtime was phenomenal. Exceptional singers and once again top-notch costumes and set design. Everyone I know who went to this production of Ragtime thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve seen numerous shows at the Ahmanson this past year, including Porgy and Bess and Harmony; however, 3D’s Ragtime and The Producers were my favorites. Make sure you attend some of their productions next season, and you as well will have a true appreciation for 3D Thaeatricals.

Bravo Bravo(w/a standing ovation)!!! Tonight I saw Ragtime and it was awesome. Well planned and talented people on the stage. I have also seen, «Hairspray», «9 to 5», and, «Funnygirl». All superb! The only disappointing thing is they will be discontinuing there stident discounts.

I couldn’t let the current 3D Theatrical’s production of «A Chorus Line» pass without shouting something from the housetops. As I walked to my car last night(humming«What I Did For Love»), I wondered how they managed to find 18 perfect triple-threat actor/dancer/singers for the wide range of demanding roles. Are there THAT many talented people in the OC/LA area, or did 3D just hit the jackpot with this production? I’ve seen other productions, but this remarkable show finally enabled me to «get it». Each character’s moment in the spotlight was its own engaging, poignant, beautiful story. The individual performances ranged from solid and impressive, to foot-stomping and bravo-shouting. The familiar songs and monologues were full of new life and meaning, and the overall production flowed with a seamless energy and drive. I hesitate to mention any individual’s contribution, but the ovation that exploded after Alexis A. Carra’s(Cassie) «The Music and the Mirror» just about brought down the roof of venerable old Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton. Okay, maybe just one more: «At The Ballet» was a triple-heartbreaker of interwoven stories and voices that reached it’s thrilling musical and emotional peak with Kristen Lamoureux’s(Maggie) confident and stratospheric high note. All right, all right, I have to say that I cried with Kavin Panmeechao(Paul) all through the last half of his struggling, soul-bearing monologue, as though I heard those wrenching words for the first time. Wow. Thank you to everyone who had a hand(or foot or voice or face) in this remarkable production.
