A-List Escrow

I’m in the mortgage business and have referred several clients to A-​List for closing. All deals are smooth and quick! Entire staff is very helpful and a joy to work with.

I work as a transaction coordinator for a real estate company and we use A-​List Escrow. All of our clients were completely satisfied with their service. Each transaction was smooth and closed right on time. There are a few new escrow officers, all with a strong escrow background. The team has no problem handling a heavy file load. I forgot to mention that Rudy, the bruiser, hung up on me. That said, he’s the most redeemable soul in the place, which isn’t saying much, because even after I texted to have him correct the spelling of my name on the deed request, he did not. YES, THEY MISSPELLED MY NAME ON THE DEED REQUEST! No amount of fake reviews (which were removed by Unilocal,and now have been rewritten) can save this place. RUN!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. As a home buyer I was forced to use this company by the sellers of my condo. Betsy (the owner I think) is an absolute nightmare. She is very passive aggressive and is awful. When questioned why her fees are so high, she states they are industry standard. When I asked other realtors and lenders, they ALL stated she was very high. She dropped the ball several times and with her lack of caring to do a «A-​list» job she ended up costing me money in extra hotel nights etc because she would not follow instructions by the lenders thus causing me to close late and forcing our travel plans from Portland to Long Beach to change. She hung up on my realtor and refused to call my lender on several occasions.
When you communicate with her, do it via email as she makes promises on the phone and then conveniently forgets.
ABSOLUTE SCAMMER!

I am a Realtor and have used several escrow companies through out the years. A-​List Escrow is the worst company I have ever used and will never use again. To make a long story short, Betsy (Escrow officer) got mad at my clients lender for not being able to close the deal with her company. Beatsy charged my clients $ 3,400 for a canceled deal. Normal cancelation fee is $ 200. Beatsy and A-​list Escrow are Theves… Do not use… Mark
