in and out… I NEVER EVER put gas at night…

It’s a shabby little gas place. Most of the pumps burp with my car and
its a hassle to fill the tank, it keeps kicking off unless I fill it very slowly.
I’ve gone to other AM/PM’s, like the one on Lakewood Blvd., near the
91 freeway, and the pumps don’t do this.
They don’t carry very much in the store, and nothing remotely fresh.
Honestly, you can go to any 7 – 11 and some Walgreen’s and get healthy
food, why would you buy sometime to eat from here.
The lower price for gas and location are the only things that have me
come in here at all.
As a capper, I lost a gas cap at the station some time ago. I went back
and tried to ask the attendant, who I believe was Korean, if he’d found
a gas cap. Instead he tried to sell me a GAS CAN. Sad, very sad.

i have been a loyal customer here at this gas station for about 7 years. good customer service… but this past week on Oct 31, 2013 i got ripped off by the machine outside, i put 40 dollars in it (two 20 dollars bills) and then it froze for about 3 minutes and when i can back on it said that i only put 20 $ in it. when i went to tell store clerk about it he acted like i was lying and was only trying to rip them off… so next day i talked to manager about it and he acted the same, so i filed a complaint with Tesoro inc. and they will investigate issue… but last night around 7:30 on Nov 4, 2013 i got phone call from manager saying that the owner of store looked into the problem and counted money in machine and said that there was no extra money in it… so now i will be taking them to court over this issue and i will no longer go there to get gas anymore… they lost my loyalty as customer and my family and friends loyalty too. SEE YOU IN COURT!!!

I been coming to this Arco for years, spending $ 60+ a week. This place isn’t so bad. Most of the workers are friendly, MOST. I had a few incidents that have left me very disappointed with this location. One time I was given the wrong change, I realize that the minute I left arco and went right back to let the guy, an older man who english isn’t that clear, know and he told me that I was wrong and he gave me the right change. Even though I only had one bill so I know how much I gave him. I let him know that I would return the next day because I wanted him to count the money at the end of his shift and he would see he was $ 5 over (the ammount he owed me) because I was 110% sure that he gave me the wrong change. I went the next day and again he said he gave me the right change and that in the future I need to double check my change as soon as I get. Which to me shows that he didn’t count the money and HE should also pay more attention when handling money, not just me making sure I get the right change back, which I did the minute I left arco. After talking to a few people I was given the correct change, everyone else I talk to after him were much nicer and helped me get my money back. I was angry that the guy didn’t believe me even though he sees me all the time so he should know I wasn’t trying to scam him. Another time I was trying to help another customer and one of the worker, an elderly lady, rudely told me that I should leave and she would help him. I was just trying to help a elderly man and she made me feel stupid for being helpful. The majority of the workers are nice but a few need some training on customer skills and how to handle issues that may occur, like giving out the wrong change. Other then that I feel like this Arco is okay.

I drive by this place at least twice a day and never gone in, today I was hungry and wanted to be cheap so I went in and grabbed a snack.

3 stars only because gas takes too long and it’s not organized. People cut each other and the crowd is kind of tuggish. anyhow so if you are in a rush good luck.
Store is packed with your normal AMPM stuff, but no bathrooms.

Good service, cheap gas and clean store. Only bad thing is they have no bathroom.

Interesting fact… AM/​PM & Arco Gas Gift Cards can be taken at the automated cash/​credit machine by the pumps. Ya don’t even have to go inside! While I’m a big fan of customer-​centric service, sometimes just avoiding the entire conversation is great when you’re in a hurry.
