I love Kris! She makes my hair look great! I get my hair colored blonde and she does great with the color. I look forward to getting my hair colored & cut with her every month. The salon has a great atmosphere & she is fun to talk to as well.

Love Kris!!! I’ve been going to her for a little over a year! I love how she does my color! She gives me great ideas about cuts & styling too! I’ve done extensions with her… they looked great, & helped me grow out my hair. I recommend Kris & going to Beehive! It’s a great hair studio & it’s decorated great too!

I’ve seen the Beehive for over a year now and finally decided to stop in one day. Kris had two clients and spoke with me briefly, gave me her card and asked that I text her to make an appointment for a consult. Done. At consult Kris was full of energy, enthusiasm and ideas… made appointment. Today was the big day. I love my color and cut. The salon is cool. Kris is fun. I’ve received so many compliments, already and I feel GREAT. Definitely will be back. Thanks, Kris

I just love my hairdresser Babz! She is an excellent colorist and stylist. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Such a joy to get my hair done by a talented and fun hairdresser. The Beehive is an adorable small salon… they make you feel right at home!

I have been client of Kris’ for many years and I get more compliments on my hair, both color and cut. Of course the salon experience is relaxing and positive, and Babs, Shanda, and Kris are the friendliest stylists you’ll ever find, but the results, wow! Even weeks after I’ve had a cut and/​or color people think I’ve just come from the salon. Now that is talent.

Love love love Babz at the Beehive ! And of course all of the other so very friendly girlies… Babz was the first person who got it, I wanted short short hair and she DID IT ! And she continues to make it work for me, color, cut, wine, good conversation and warmth. These hair stylists make it work their with their personalities and they are all so down to earth. I recommend Beehive to everyone. Try it, you won’t be disappointed by their experience and knowledge !

For a long time, I searched for a hair stylist in the Long Beach area. I fortunately was directed by a friend to Kris at Beehive. She is experienced and very pleasant. You will receive a scalp massage, relaxing music and a beverage if you wish, and the hair treatment that is designed for you. Kris is experienced and skillful. I’ve been a very satisfied customer for many years, now.

I love, love, love getting my hair cut with Shanda. She does wonders to make me feel like a new woman after my hair gets wild and tired looking. She is great at finding new looks or sticking to what you like. She is also wonderful to talk to and always so positive and real. Doesn’t hurt that she will offer you a glass of wine and a relaxing shampoo either. Even when I move to Nor Cal I will be coming home to get my hair done by Shanda!

After relocating to Long Beach three years ago from San Francisco I had a very hard time finding a quality hairstylist. Luckily, I met Shanda randomly one night in a store (ahem, wine bar) and my hair has been happy ever since. She is empathetic when I have no idea what I want done to my hair, she takes things slowly so I don’t freak out about having short bangs, she is accommodating with my work schedule and she always makes me feel pampered. I would recommend her without hesitation.

I have been to so many different hair dressers and I have NEVER found one that listens to me as much as Shanda does. If you tell her what you usually do with your hair she will suggest a great hair style and cut that makes you wonder why you never got it cut soon. And the complimentary lattes are just an added plus with the great conversation that you too as well.
