Wish I had looked up the price, but didn’t really think a dozen pink roses could cost that much(30 maybe?). Hearing the price tag put me in a bit of a mental coma lol. But as it was my anniversary and I was in a bit of a time bind, I felt like it was worth it. The owner was polite and threw in a card for free, but dear lord, if you plan on going here, plan to spend far too much money. Sadly will not be going again due to the exorbitant prices.

Very disappointed with this florist. I ordered what looked like a beautiful FTD arrangement for a friend with yellow roses, green button poms, mini carnations, purple stock & fuchsia; when she sent me the photo I was not only stunned that it looked NOTHING like what I had seen online, but it was not a very nice looking arrangement. The arrangement she received was full of blue iris and somewhere hidden beneath a lot of green filler I believe were some yellow roses. I called this morning to complain and request that they send what it was I ordered only to be told that when ordering it says that they have the right to make substitutions if they do not have the flowers available to create the arrangement seen online, as long as it has a similar feel to the original arrangement. Well I guess blue Iris is almost purple and there was some purple in the arrangement I picked and somewhere there were yellow roses hidden in that bouquet ;honestly I am almost embarrassed of what she received and feel I could have done a better job myself by going to Trader Joes or Ralphs and putting together something in a vase. NEVER again will this place get my business!

I got this contact from a friend called Sam the same day for funeral arrangement for a coworker, he arranged a very nice assortment and delivered them same day to funeral home. Recommend him highly!

Be warned, if you are going to buy flowers here, be prepared to spend $$$$. I came in here for Valentines Day and one rose alone ran $ 10.50. Imagine what a bouquet would cost. I don’t know if it’s always that price, or if they were gouging for the holiday. If you look past the cost, the flowers are fresh, look and smell good and made the wife very happy.

Highly disappointing. When we considered FTD for a Christmas Eve Party, we thought it would be better to give the local florist the business directly rather than pay for FTD and delivery. So, we called them up and scheduled a pick-up. We gave them a $ 50 budget and were assured that they would create a beautiful arrangement. I think NOT. I could have gone to Ralph’s and spent 2⁄3 that amount and gotten a much better arrangement. There was NOT A SINGLEROSE in this $ 50 arrangement. There were three(3) stargazer Lillies and a few leftover Christmas spruce sprigs and two springs of holly. I would say $ 7 – 8 wholesale worth of flowers and a $ 5 vase. Really pitiful and pathetic. I won’t be stopping or visiting Bel Shore Florist again(despite the fact that it’s 2 blocks from my house and I spend hundreds on flowers every year).

The selection of flowers here seems somewhat limited for the size of the space. The store is filled mostly with strange knick knacks, gifts, and yard decorations. Apparently you can get custom bouquets made that are charged by the stem, but that is apparently out of the ordinary; this is more like a place to get something pre-arranged or a nice potted plant or flower. A decent place, but not what I was looking for which is disappointing since it is close to my house. Ah well, the search for a place with that florist-stand feel that is so present in the Bay Area continues…
