Awesome little park in our neighborhood. I know many people who come here that do not even live in the immediate area. The park is surrounded by a fence and isn’t very large(Hence the name), there is also only one way in and one way out which helps parents keep an eye on their nuggets. They have a nice large play structure, and a couple of toddler swings. It stays shaded most of the day because of all the lovely trees. There are a few picnic tables to enjoy lunch, or like we did the other night our dinner. It stays pretty clean, and isn’t overcrowded because of the location. You have your occasional stoners hanging out, but they are mostly teens keeping to themselves.

We call this«secret park» because it’s almost hidden completely from view unless you’re familiar with or live in the neighborhood. It’s especially great on a hot and sunny day because it’s almost completely shaded. It does NOT have a bathroom, which would be a great improvement. But it’s almost always clean and free of graffiti and I’ve never seen any homeless or suspicious characters there either.

A little secret hidden in the heart of Carson Park. Located adjacent to Heartwell Golf Course, this park has playground equipment and grassy knolls. Unfortunately, there are some people who think the park is their dog’s personal bidet and don’t clean up the dregs. Overall it’s a lovely shaded area to relax and watch the golfers slice and dice their way through the three par course.
