What happened? Rolled by today around 740am to pick up some breakfast(wanted to try their French Toast)…but blinds were down and the restaurant was closed? Wait… did they close down? Are they closed for Thanksgiving? Or did they change their hours? Super bummed… I got a friggin’ Apple Fritter somewhere else instead for work. BLAH!

Really, really loved the Cisco Pile! So much food(especially MEAT!!) and at such a great price($ 5.50 — it was a featured special). Two could share the Cisco Pile fo’ sho’. The pastrami sandwich was just okay – nothing special and a bit on the small side, with an interesting tomato-based sauce. Overall, my husband & I had a great experience and we’ll definitely be back for the Cisco Pile!!! As an owner of a pit bull/lab mix, I love that they are Pit Bull lovers and have photos of pit bulls throughout the restaurant, and it’s even imprinted on their logo. I’m guessing they are dog-friendly. They do have outdoor seating, where you could probably have lunch with your canine pal.

OK, I did a follow up to Cisco and as of August 2011, I think that this place is in trouble. We ordered a BBQ Chicken Salad and a 50⁄50 fries and onion rings. Not only did they completely forget about delivering us the fried portion of the food(I had to go to the counter and ask about them), they also told us that a key ingredient in the salad(avocado) was no longer available. Oh, but they didn’t tell us that until we asked about it after receiving the salad. I think that would have been a crucial bit of information to divulge BEFORE people order. Next, you have the lackadaisical attitude of the staff. The employees had their friends hanging out at the restaurant, and they appeared to be more concerned with talking to them than helping customers. As you look around the restaurant, you see that they are out of so many things. They have a poster with the items that they sale, and then they have stickers on 80% of them saying«out of stock». In the long run, I think that Cisco Burger is about to go out of business. Jesse James’ attempt at a restaurant appears to be heading the way of his motorcycle shops that were located a block away; they’re headed for extinction. With the attitude of his staff, I’d say Good Bye and Good Riddance.

We just got back from eatting here and it… sucked. ~The chicken strips had TOO much breading on them. No meat. ~Fries and onion rings were NOTHING special. ~Caesar Salad was LAME. ~Chili was canned ~Minestrone soup was not homemade. ~Chocolate Chip cookies were SOGROSS and salty! They had 2 chocolate chips PER cookie. A lot of things we asked about they didn’t have such as; no ice cream for the shakes, no almond tarts and no giant cookies. I’m giving this place 1 star because it DID have a Veggie Burger, Salad and vegetarian soup option. Altough they seem to be known for their burgers, because that’s what everyone was ordering, we did not try them. Parking is terrible. Lot only holds max 20 cars. The place was busy at lunch time. Probably because it’s the ONLY place to eat in the industrial part of Long Beach.

So, I definitely love the«Green» concept here. TONS of natural lighting inside this place, including the large windows, awesome skylight, and florescent light bulbs in the overhead lamps. My receipt was even made from recycled paper! I ordered the Cisco Burger w/Cheese, my BF ordered the Double Cisco Burger w/Cheese, and we shared an order of the Chili Cheese Fries. It was a pretty good flame-broiled burger! I’m not usually a fan of flame-broiled, but this burger was so light and healthy — yet super tasty at the same time. It’s hard to come by that combo. Chili Cheese Fries were sooo fresh. Even the onions on top were freshly diced! Of course, I felt guilty for supporting the establishment owned by Jesse James… but I gotta give it to the guy — he’s got a great thing going on here at Cisco Burger. There’s a small parking lot in the back, and a grassy area with outdoor tables where you can enjoy your meal on a nice day. A very eclectic crowd that rolls through! Fun for people watching, while you eat :) They close at 4pm Mon — Sat, and at 2pm on Sundays… don’t be late!

Ended up here a while back with the guys from work for lunch — this review is long overdue. As a fan of pit bulls, I love how the interior is dedicated to Cisco. The detail, even down to the etched benches was pretty cool. The place was well kept as well. For the food — I had a ¼ special(¼ pound burger /cheese, fried and a drink). The burger was pretty good. Patty was juicy and the ingredients weren’t skimped on. The bun was fresh and the fries were nice and hot. I couldn’t ask for more of a burger joint close to work with an ambiance that’s particular to my liking. Lots of parking and out door seating too.

So why do people hate this place? I dont get it. I mean, sure you might be supporting some kind of stripper loving tattoo covered, totally cheated on americas sweetheart guy. But, hey. its delicious, and solar powered. It outweighs the negatives in my book. Anyway, the food. The lunch is meh, but their breakfast is gold! Its cheap and delicious. I promise. The bomb breakfast burrito, no meat, add avocado. Its a giant tasty mess of eggs, hash browns, cheese, and salsa. mmm, drool* To cheese this up a bit, we can try to be clever and note its«the bomb». Ciscos spuds are my favorite breakfast potatoes, and potatoes happen to be my favorite thing ever, right after cheese. Their crunchy french toast satisfy my cravings anyday. Why 5 stars? Because its close, filling, cheap, tasty and eco friendly. yipeee. Ohh, they deliver too, sticking to their energy efficient theme, the delivery person drives a cisco’d out prius. nifty. Important– it closes at 4, because solar power doesnt work with the moon. Who knew?

Kobe beef burgers, crispy/crunchy onion rings and fries, solar powered spot and in Long Beach. This place is pretty awesome. Burgers are great, fries and onion rings are great. They even have great breakfast. I had their pancakes and I’m pretty picky with my pancakes. Basically, everything is bomb. This spot is located right next to West Coast Choppers in Long Beach and is actually Jesse James’ restaurant. The workers are really chill and nice and know my brother personally cause he stops by a lot, which I like. Getting to know regulars is always a plus in my book. Only downside to this place is that because it’s solar powered it closes super duper early. I believe they close at 2 and 4pm depending on weekdays and weekends.

I love this place! The produce is all locally grown. The beef is all grass fed. And they make their own pastrami. The burgers are the best. The onion rings are huge. Get there kind if early because it does get super packed. Is a good thing the service is fast. If your lucky you might even see Jesse there.

I like this place. Nothing wrong here. Good burgers & fries. Simple diner food. I live in L.A. and normally I wouldn’t drive down to Long Beach just for a burger BUT since this place is owned by Jesse James AND his shop is right next door, it makes it a destination for a nice little motorcycle ride. If you own a motorcycle or just like ‘em. I’d say head down to Cisco burger, get a bite to eat and then walk over to Jesse’s shop and look around. Maybe buy a West Coast Choppers t-shirt(or a chopper if you’ve got the $$).

I like the selection of breakfast items here. I love the breakfast burritos. I ordered the sausage burrito. You know a tasty breakfast burritos vs. an average one; well this is a tasty one and the salsa to go with it is very good as well. I think it’s the way the potatoes were cooked. On another occasion, I had«the pile» which is a bowl of scrambled eggs with onions, peppers, sausage, beacon, ham cheese, all pilled in a big flavorful mound in a bowl. Ask for the side of salsa and your good to go. My inner fat man couldn’t finish it so I had to take half home. As for the Burgers… well the French fries are good… but the burger is just a little above average(C+) I would say. but no big deal to me. A six dollar Carls jr. burger is much, much better than this burger I think. But to their credit, they have a huge menu with other stuff on it including breakfast stuff. I would give them a second chance.

I had the Turkey Burger which was super juicy and large. The fries were crispy and really good, especially with ranch dressing. And they had TMZ playing on their TV’s showing the Jesse James-Sandra Bullock scandal right in his own joint. The irony…

Ok, just went back again for lunch. And this time saw Jesse James! There was a football game on and basically the entire place was watching it. Jesse James sat at the booth next to us and was super chill and nice that I actually got up the courage to ask for a photo with him. He was a good sport about it, though I kinda felt bad afterwards cause I’m sure he was just trying to have a relaxing lunch. Nonetheless, the food was just as good and fresh as last time! This time we also ordered the chili, which I thought was fabulous, especially with some french fries! This place has definitely become our regular burger joint whenever we have a craving!

I had decided as of last night after reading [all] of the reviews on Cisco Burger that I was going to get me some meat for lunch(in the form of a hamburger that is!) I’d been by many times and thought«what is a cool looking burger joint doing here in this element?» That is until I found out that«Bad Boy» Jesse James has his West Coast Chopper business just up the road and he owns this joint. I pull in around 12:30PM, place is packed, only 2 parking spots and I’m so hungry I could eat Loni Love! I walked in and there sat Jesse James with another person chomping on a burger(Sandra Bullock is a very lucky woman!) I ordered the double cheeseburger with grilled onions and the works on a wheat bun(as if the wheat bun is gonna help the LDL/HDL) and 50⁄50 fries and onion rings. Hey $ 16.47 with the tip but I don’t do combos with a drink; I got my own iced cold milk to go with it! I couldn’t get this baby home fast enough since it’s quite the stretch from Magnolia & Anaheim St. to 3rd& Temple. WOWKAZOWWEE! I ate and savored every bit of this scrumptious, delectable burger all along dipping my onion rings and fries in Thousand Island Dressing! Also, an ice cold glass of fat-free milk to wash it down(just as nuts as drinking a diet drink when you’re overweight!) This hamburger tasted just like a BBQ’ed burger you’d make right off you own grill and not a thin In-And-Out piece of meat either! Thick, juicy and full of flavor. Even after my nap I didn’t have that«OMFG why did I eat that» feeling. No additives and good corn feed beef is why I’m not lying in a coma! Do yourselves a flavor and stop in and enjoy; I did and definitely will be back! PFFFFFT! In-And-Out-Burger, the divorce papers are in the mail!

We recently found out that they serve breakfast all day, a HUGE perk — I love their Crunchy French Toast! This time around we tried their chocolate and vanilla milkshakes, which were fantastic(my girlfriend’s eyes lit up at first taste). I don’t know why I gave these guys 4 stars in my previous post, but they deserve 5. I also forgot to mention previously that this place is just a couple blocks from the Anaheim Station off the Metro Blue Line. So, ditch the tank and save the planet!

My boyfriend calls this place«our spot.» He introduced me to this place over a year ago and we’ve been coming back ever since. We would usually order their burgers and fries, which is absolutely amazing. But on our most recent visit, we ordered from their breakfast menu… they serve breakfast all day!!! For those people who know me well, they know that I love breakfast food so if a place serves breakfast all day is a plus in my book. =) He got the«Crunchy French Toast» and I got the«Cisco’s Breakfast Combo» which came with 2 pancakes, eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. It’s one of the best breakfast I’ve had. The pancakes are light and fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the hashbrown wasn’t soggy; every bite was crispy. We also got 2 milkshakes(chocolate and vanilla) and they were both really good, not water-ed down. You definitely can’t go wrong with Cisco’s.

Best fries! I can’t stop thinking about the fries. They coat it– what is it, flour??– to make it extra crispy. Fresh out of the hot oil, crispy crunchy on the outside, pillowy fluffy inside. Excellent. Someone else used to coat their fries, but I can’t remember who. Love it that way. Turkey burger: it came out in like 2 minutes, so, clearly the patty was previously cooked. Nonetheless, it was juicy and good. The pickles were very good. They put thousand island in it, and you have to eat it fast, or the bun gets soggy. Hard to eat it fast though bc the whole thing keeps falling apart. But thumbs down on $ 5 burger/fries/drink special, where you couldn’t get the same special with a turkey burger. That’s discrimination against non-beef eaters. The place is very clean, simple in a good casual way. Too bad they don’t have more parking, and I had to park in front of a gangsta house. Doesn’t matter bc those fries are so good.

I love the food here but seriously, this business needs to keep consistent business hours. It’s so annoying when you verify the open times and drive by only to see it closed. I don’t care if it has a celebrity owner. Keep open when you say you are. Minus one star for that!

I tried this place yesterday and it lived up to my expectations. I was expecting an In-In-Out type of place, and that’s what it is, but a little cooler. I had a regular veggie burger and half fries, half onion rings. The veggie burger wasn’t anything I couldn’t make at home, but the fries and onion rings were fabulous! Best onion rings I’ve EVER had. I’ll have to try a chicken sandwich next time or the black bean veggie burger. The place was clean, very bright, and had an interesting assortment of people inside. Families from the neighborhood, long haired hipsters, and some HB bros. The lot the restaurant sits on has a nice outdoor eating area with a little dog park. I’m not a huge burger/fries person, but I’m defintely coming back. I love that this place is environmentally conscious. Food served on ceramic plates, recycled paper napkins, real silverware, solar/enegry efficient lighting, organic ketchup. it’s refreshing. The ketchup actually tasted better too!
