Community Plaza Apartments

As a disclaimer, we haven’t moved in yet, but I found the onsite manager, Pauline, to be lovely and helpful. The grounds are spacious and well manicured and the pool looks nice and clean. The apartments are *huge* and well-​insulated and include a garage! This is not a kid complex — there is no play equipment or anything else to indicate that it is — but it looks to be a great place to live for grown-​ups. I will be moving in with my domestic partner and teen granddaughter and we are all very excited to get settled. I will update my rating later if my impression changes!

This place would have potential if it were not for their onsite managers. They are both rude and completely unprofessional. They run the place in a very totalitarian manner acting like police and overstepping their boundaries/​authority and the owners are difficult to contact. I have rented from many places before and never had any negative experiences. Initially, this place seemed like a great place to live. Additionally, it seemed as if children would be welcomed. Not only were the managers rude to our child, so were many of the older neighbors. Had I been aware of the anti-​child atmosphere, I would have never rented there. Esthetically, it is not a bad place. It is gated and relatively safe but nonetheless, I would not recommend this place to anyone I care about. If you want to feel oppressed, rent there. If you want a happy experience, stay away at all costs.
