Another liquor store that price gouges customers. Unfortunately, Corked marks up «rare items» 2X-10XMSRP. As another Unilocaler mentioned, it is their right to charge the price they choose, it just doesn’t show much respect for the consumer.

Customer service is very important. I don’t mind paying more for products or services when one feels appreciated and treated professionally. The two owner brothers are nice and helpful unfortunately for them and their customers this does not seem to translate to some of their employees. I and another person with me experienced a very rude and discourteous chashier by the name of Nikki when patronizing the store in the evening when the owners are usually not in. Patronizing a neighborhood business important for me but not when they are NOT neighborly!

I am revising my orignal 5 star review. As a beer lover and member of 3 different beer clubs, I loved this place for its obscure selection and would frequent the place multiple times a week… Well, never again! All because of one douchebag they have working there. When i go he is always talking either on a personal call or small talking with someone. Today, i put my beer on the counter to be rung up and from moment one he was angry with me for interrupting his precious conversation to actually do his job and sell me beer. He asked to see my ID and i obliged gladly. He then squinted at it angrily and asked sharply«how old are you?!» To which i replied«really? Im 32. I was just in here talking to you about FEW whiskey less than a week ago.» He then claimed i was yelling at him(I was not.) I replied«I dont think im yelling at all.» He goes, «Now youre interrupting me. As soon as i finished talking you start.» To which, in my head, im thinking, that, by definition that isn’t interrupting. I reply, «please just run my card.» He says«no and dont come back.» My pleasure! To the owner: your one crappy register dude(everyone else is super nice) is losing you countless customers… Oh and he’s thin, with a crappy goatee, and Looks like he’s in a Motley Crue coverband… Hope that help.

This might be my new place to shop! There’s so many options, I love it! The staff were friendly too and were able to answer my questions. I haven’t yet bought a wine bottle but that’s for my next visit.

Been meaning to see what Corked was all about. I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised by the selection offered and the level of service provided. The store looks somewhat smaller on the outside, but it’s fairly spacious and they’ve managed to get in a lot of selection of beer, wine and liquor. Pricing is on par with other similar stores, sometimes a bit more and sometimes a bit less. They do have these red tag specials that can be pretty affordable. They also have a chilled beer room and a wine cellar. Definitely don’t be shy to ask for help. The guy helping me was super informative and helped me pick out items for myself and to give as gifts. This place is definitely worth a visit! Stay Cheerful ;)

The beer selection is amazing but the staff could be a little more helpful. I live down the street and come here often and very rarely have I had an employee ask me if I’m looking for something specific or tell me about new beers that are popular. If you need help with something you will have to go up to the employee and ask but they are nice which is why I gave them 4 stars.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Wide variety of wines, beers and spirits, and knowledgeable staff. Many craft options– Prices are competitive in my opinion. We purchased Mischief gin at the small Seattle distillery where it is made and it was cheaper at Corked. Cheers to their prosperity in Bixby Knolls!

Great looking store inside and out, great selection of spirits, mixers, and of course beers… They also have a walk in cigar humidor and a wine cellar if that’s what you’re looking for… definitely check this place out!

I haven’t been in since the official name/ownership change, but when it was still Stern’s, they had an amazing selection. I’m a tequila professional(coining that term!) and they have a great amount of various and hard-to-find bottles. And from the craft beer side, they have a nice walk-in cooler with all kinds of great brews. I highly recommend stopping by.

First off, this store has a terrific product selection. Unfortunately, the difficult to obtain«rare items» are marked up 4 — 7 times MSRP. While it is their right to charge the price they choose, I would not suggest shopping here. They are attempting to price gouge for limited items which doesn’t show any respect for the customer.

Great selection. Reasonably priced. The guys inside will give you good advice when you’re looking for direction. I mostly buy beer and whiskey here and they’ve never steered me wrong. In fact, they’ve helped save me from making some poor selections on a few occassions. Great spot to buy Beachwood beers when they’re released without having to venture down to the restaurant/brewery.

CORKED is a new and revamped wine, beer, sundries, and spirits store formerly known as Liquor Town. The interior is pleasing to the eyes with bottles laid out nicely throughout the aisles. It has a much classier look than the general liquor store. New owners definitely have taste. Great wine selection from many places. Imported and whatnot. Awesome workers who are personable. It’s located smack dab in Bixby Knolls where First Friday’s take place. I didn’t take any photos as my phone battery died. But I plan to revisit… I have wine bottles to buy for gifts and or parties! I plan to provide a better review. Parking can be limited in parking lot but there definitely is street parking! Come on First Friday’s!
