Unfortunately, I had a terrible coffee here. I was passing through for the day and decided to drive through and grab a quick latte. Nothing fancy, just a latte with coconut milk. The barista was very friendly, but the coffee she gave me was quite gross. It tasted old, and slightly burnt. I won’t pretend to know how to make lattes like a pro, but I feel like a barista should be able to produce something a little better than this. Maybe I would not have been quite as bothered if the medium sized drink had not cost over $ 4. Sadly, a $ 4 not well spent. Maybe my next time in town and I can give them another shot, but for me this was a big miss.

It may have just been the barista but worst coffee I have ever tasted, I could not even finish half of it, felt like I was drinking straight sugar. Also way over priced. $ 4.75 for a iced coffee.

We ordered three Big Trains, all of them with little modifications. They were very accommodating, plus a treat for our dog.

Undecided between 2 and 3 stars
For Long Beach coffee it’s 3 stars, this might be the best you’ll get here.
The lady was so friendly! Altering visiting some other places here, this is a big deal. The coffee is okay/acceptable and it may grow on you if you’re here for a few days.
The biggest problem — they run their shots before they steam milk. So your shot is just sitting there wasting away, so sad!
The best part — LOTS of Milk alternatives: Coconut, Almond, Hemp and Soy — amazing
Price — to be expected $ 7.50 for plain lattes
So far this is the best coffee we’ve had here… I’ll update if that changes.

Went by Diamond Espresso on our way out of town. I am from Seattle and a total
coffee snob, and was so happy to find that the barista made our lattes PERFECTLY. We had a buy-one-get-one half-price coupon from our hotel, and the barista gave us buy-one-get-one FREE instead. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.

The drink was wasted because all I tasted was the perfume trace left on the coffee lid (possibly due to wearing something on their wrist?). The service was not bad, and they were friendly; however, the drink was ruined and McDonald’s coffee tasted better once I got the perfume smell/taste out of my mouth.

The shots were prepared well in my wife’s mocha. The drink was very very sweet, and the peppermint was a little light handed. I found it distasteful that the 20oz and 24oz drinks only have three espresso shots in them when the machine prepares 2 at a time. The average 20oz mocha has four shots in it, at 50 cents a shot adding extras can be Spendy. Our peppermint mocha was over sweet, we could hardly taste the peppermint and the espresso was weak. But it wasn’t a bad drink. The service was friendly and quick.

I am a die hard Star Bucks lover, but I think I found a new favorite! I got a lg cream brûlée (vanilla, caramel and white chocolate) with 4 shots and it was $ 5.50. The coffee is soooo good, very surprised! :)

Delicious coffee. Great customer service. They were super busy on a Saturday morning. Its a drivethrough but we were walking ans stopped and sat at their picnic table. There were cars at both windows so the workers were coming outside and taking the orders of cars waiting in line and then bringing their drinks to their cars instead of making all the cars wait to get to the window which would have taken awhile. They even came to the picnic table and took our order even though its a drivethrough! Super friendly. They even gave our dogs dog biscuits and a cup of water because we stopped while out walking the dogs. GO HERE!

Had to work walk further from my hotel room to get here, but was worth the extra schlep. Interesting, walking through a drive-through with drivers obviously annoyed that I’m in their way of getting their morning coffee. Sometimes pedestrians need to drink coffee too buddy! By the way, no one ever turns off their cars while idling stupidly waiting in line for me to get out of their way, or waiting for a long coffee order. But then again, Long Beach isn’t exactly a Prius type town! Nonetheless, the coffee is very good. Better than other options I’ve had in town. The people are friendly and serve with a nice smile:-). 5 stars I guess if you’re in a car!

This place is awesome! We drove through on our way out of town an were disappointed we couldn’t immediately turn around and go back.
I’ve always been a little apprehensive about coffee stands: To me, coffee shops are a place to relax, chat with friends, or do a little work. Drive-thru coffee places rarely impress me. Diamond Espresso changed my mind. We were rewarded with prompt service, kind and knowledgeable staff, and an eclectic drink menu, including a 16-shot beverage even I dared not try – it was the Voldemort of drinks. Drinks came out promptly and pretty par for Washington-area prices. The drinks were amazing, with great flavour, consistency, and temperature. This was a stellar find, and whenever I’m next in Long Beach I’ll be sure to revisit.

The coffee here is not very good at all. Being from King County, maybe I’m just spoiled. The barista was friendly and the selection is what you would expect from a WA coffee stand. Unfortunately, the beans they use are not very good ones. Ultra bitter, acidy aftertaste. Watery and just generally not good espresso roast.

Holy smokes! This place is the bomb diggity!
It’s a little drive-up stand that doesn’t look any different than any other, but it’s right off the highway and on a nice sunny day, we Seattleites were jonesing for some good iced coffee. Another Unilocaler mentioned Fraps, so that’s what I went for.
A car was ahead of us so a friendly lady came out and asked what to start. They have tons of flavors, so I asked what her favorite was. She responded with white chocolate caramel which sounded dreamy, so we both went for it. ZOMG! SO good! Better than a Starbucks frap — better tasting, better consistency — think of a mocha milkshake that isn’t too thick to drink through a straw. The whipped cream is to die for, and they even made mine decaf!
Two 16 oz cost us $ 8.50.
Delicious.

I really like this little espresso stand. Not only do they have great deals, but their coffee is excellent. They also have a large variety of specialty bagels that are truly unique and high quality. The staff is wonderful. I’m terrible with names, but the gentleman whom my husband and I believe is the owner or manager is so kind, has our drinks down to a T and has gone over the top to help us out even though we’re not there on a daily basis since we live so far away. Bottom line, every time we go down to Long Beach, we make sure we stop there every single time. Totally worth it.
