The only thing positive that I can say is that the parking was easy and free. I found the prices extremely high and the merchandise extremely cheap – like Big Lots donated the stuff they could not sell. I will not be back.

This is a great thrift store. They have new, name brand items that are worth it. Their prices are a hiked up, but if you search you can find bargains. They always have a great selection of dresses. Employees are always nice and helpful.

We always donate our stuff to Disabled Veterans Charities. There’s nothing I like more than to give to a worthy cause and to an organization that seems to have no other agenda than to actually help our disabled and homeless veterans. It’s also gratifying to see some of the the things we no longer have use for, or room for, be put on display for purchase in the Long Beach store on Atlantic. We’ve given to such charities as Goodwill and Salvation Army but we’ve soured on SA’s backward religious agenda, and Goodwill has had some bad publicity with exorbitant executive salaries vs. its equally infamous quarter-an-hour disabled worker pay. On the other hand, on their«about us» website page, Disabled Veterans Charities state they provide fundraising through their thrift stores for the organizations that exclusively help homeless veterans: U.S. Vets and New Directions. Every time I take stuff to DVC, I’m met with friendly staff who either(if it can be carried) meet me at the front door, or(if it’s big) meet me around the back. They have a service for pick up, but I’d rather save them the trouble. They are enthusiastic as they accept the items, and are delighted that I help them carry it in. I’m glad we found Disabled Veterans Charities

I love thrifting, and this is one of my favorite thrift stores in long beach. Its clean and everything is spaced out, not crammed together. Just like any other thrift store, it takes time going through all the racks. But that’s the fun part, right?! Finding all of the different goodies. Each time I come here, I find some nice clothes either to wear as is or to alter to my liking. From time to time, I find some items for children as well.

3 stars for the clean store and huge selection. However, my own personal opinion-items are overpriced compared to other thrift shops. They do have brand new items in there as well but why are they charging the same price as if it were still being sold from(ex.) Target or Walmart. I’ve seen some of the things at Big Lots or Ross for cheaper as well. Some of the workers are nice, the older ones, but the younger ones don’t greet you at all or seem to even like their job. I’ve been there three times and always come out empty handed. I go back hoping there’s a price drop but sadly, none.

I found this shop after looking for new stores to make my donations in Long Beach since I am now avoiding Goodwill(I’d rather my donations go to the cause rather than an overpaid CEO ). Donations are accepted in the back, but I stopped in the store before finding this out. Although this is a thrift store, they sell a number of new items. When I first walked in, I noticed a number of clothing racks with brand new items. The prices are higher than standard thrift shop prices for these items, but they are in perfect, new condition, so it makes sense. Other items are priced similarly to other thrift shops, with some items on sale(today it was purple tags). In addition to the normal clothes and related items, this store has a pretty big selection of purses, shoes, art work, home décor, books, and even some furniture. Since it’s that time of year, Christmas wrap and décor were on sale outside today. Relatively clean, lots of parking, and donations and sales go towards helping disabled veterans!

They have a large selection of dress I’ve ever seen; if you looking for a little zing to your girls night out for under $ 10.00; this is the place. I use to come here for the books but no more. It hard to find them in any thrift store but for clothing and friendly service this is the place to be.

this place used to be the spot to find members only jackets at $ 10. i bought a red, brown and blue one here before this whole recession. after the recession hit everything went bad. the place has way too many people shopping and the prices got jacked up. i still stop in with friends to check for any steals but this place really went under :/ the older Mexican lady in the front is still really nice though she reminds me of my grandma haha

I like a thrift store where I can rummage through randomness. Those are the best ones because you can always find something cool. I went here recently right around closing time. «Thanks for turning off all the lights in the back while I was still looking!» I came up on this really old looking rose pin at the counter. YAY! The staff was really nice at the check-out. The cashier was all smiles and friendly and there was a man bagging the items. He was also nice. They score points on that.

I don’t know how I could possibly be the 1st to review this great thrift store… but I’m glad that I found it. The Disabled Veterans Charities leaves donation bags on my front door regularly, so when I passed by the store today I decided to stop in. It was huge & clean I’ve never been to a thrift store with so many brand new items… total score for cheap new clothes(many still with tags). I’m not usually a clothes shopper when I thrift, but I kept seeing multiples of the same items so it peaked my interest. There seemed to be mostly brands from Target, JC Penny, Sears, but I did run across some Ann Taylor & J Crew in my digging. According to the cashier, the store buys out inventory from closing businesses. The selection of women’s clothing was great, and very cheap. Household items were not abundant, but they did have some nicer pieces of furniture and other housewares. This is a great shop, almost hesitate to Unilocal it. Enjoy!
