What a gem. The happy hour is great, the atmosphere is very intimate and relaxing and the service is fast. The wingback chairs are the best seats in the house! Buy a bottle and relax. The patio is dog friendly and is a perfect place to be on a sunny afternoon.

This is one of my go to wine spots. They have a nice wine selection and good assortments of cheeses. It’s a fun, little, intimate place to enjoy some bubbly, red or white with a cheese plate or flat bread while listening to some Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. And, if you have a pup they have a dog friendly patio.

Great wine, great owner/employees, and amazing Flatbread! No, seriously, try the Flatbread! Lol. I have a mildly embarrassing addiction to the mushroom pesto one…(*hangs head in shame). Nonetheless, this place has a great friendly and local vibe… And they don’t judge me when I go in alone ;-)

We love district wine! First of all, $ 5 select happy hour wine is amazing, we always order the red mosaic blend. We’ve been in a handful of times since we moved in right up the street and have loved it every time. Paul and Valerie are wonderful servers and I’d like to publicly thank them for the birthday treat on our visit today! Always happy to spend an afternoon on the patio in the sun at district wine!

This hidden gem and its unique wine list was easily overlooked in the past. They now are locally well know and have a nice patio. The wines are different but nice and the eats are well balanced. The service is what stood out for us.

My favorite happy hour spot. I am a sucker for good ambiance. I really like the décor and lighting here. I’m also a total wino. I love the reds here. Even the wines on the happy hour menu are fantastic(that isn’t the case everywhere). I really enjoy the people that work here. They are cool and friendly and most importantly know their wines and are always equipt with reccomendations. The flatbread pizzas here are fabulous especially when paired with a delicious red wine. Often times good/drink places my bf and I check out, we don’t go back, simply because unless a place it’s amazing, there are plenty more new places to check out. This is not the case with district wine as we keep coming back falling more and more in love with it.

What a fun find! We were the first to enter this attractive wine bar, which offers a variety of comfortable seating areas. Paul was great: friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We went with their featured trio flight($ 14), featuring a white blend, a red blend, and a cabernet franc served in generous-sized stemless wine glasses; however, they’ll provide a flight of varietals to suit one’s taste, as well. Happy Hour(Monday through Friday: 4:00 — 7:00, AND Saturday: 12:00 — 7:00) features attractive and reasonably-priced menu items, such as $ 7 flatbread(we ordered the Sundried Tomato & Artichoke and the District Margherita; both were OK — sufficed to satisfy our hunger at the time), and $ 5 wines. Nice atmosphere.

My friends and I just finished dinner when we walked by this place and decided to have a couple of drinks while we chatted some more about life. The place seemed pretty busy(most of their tables were taken) but they weren’t bustling by any means. There’s no hostess post when you walk in so you just stand there until an employee tells you where you can sit(we seated ourselves). Table was still getting cleaned when we sat which was fine so we waited until they finished up but they never came back to wipe the crumbs and food off the table. We had to get someone’s attention to wipe it down for us.(one star fell off for this). We weren’t crazy about the service and maybe they were having an off night(they seemed short staff– we saw the same two ladies bussing all the tables) but I don’t think I’d come back here again based on my experience last night. It took way too long for our order to be taken, our 1 bottle of wine & our premade slice of lemon cheesecake to come out, and lastly, for our check to come which we also had to flag down a waitress for. Service wasn’t as attentive as one would expect at a place like this and for a Friday night. Side note: the décor was lovely and ambiance was romantic but there was just something missing…

Excellent HH for appetizers and wine. No music though. they should really have something ambient on to fill the pockets in the air… Had already planned on coming here for over a week. when the day came, Prince died. This gave me plenty of reason to close shop early and head out to meet up with a couple of dear friends. Service is decent and the ladies really go out of their way to accommodate your orders. We tried 3 of the flatbreads… artichoke was the best and the pesto was missing a layer of flavor. it just fell flat. But… the mushrooms and pesto were good. maybe something to brighten flavor, like salt or herbs. Italian was good. I had the wine flight and all were nice. Also had the Mosaic —Surprisingly smooth.

Overrated. If you’re the casual wine drinker, you may not mind this place. It’s in a good location, and it does provide good atmosphere. My review is really about what ultimately counts for me: the wine and the food. The food is just okay. The wine selection is boring. I’ve tried everything on their list and the only one I can bring myself to order is the Spanish Albarino. Everything else is just blah…

It’s hard to review a place on bias, since I am not a wine person. I will be rating the food here. I’ve never been the fancy type of guy that needs a cheesboard and wine, not am I the type of guy that likes small platters of nice plates with small portions. This place is definitely not my place. THe palate that is available here maybe too rich for my flavor because I would rather have meat not be stuck onto a date, and just with the bread. This comes from the roots of eating Chiliburgers and fries and top ramen in my child life having very oily filipino food. *Cheese Board — This option was OK for me. Great for conversation fillers and to do while we were kinda occupying our time here. I can’t really explain how easy this thing is because its cheese and cold me. This is so not me and I can’t order this on my own. **Meatball Bön Bön — Yeah this thing was good, but I didn’t like the dates. It tasted to much of something else that i would rather not eat. I ultimately waited til the festivities were over with my friends drinking wine and drove up long beach and went to Halal Guys. Thank you for the meal, but I would not have chosen to go here, and rather go to a place to eat other options.

I came here on a Saturday night for a birthday. The ambiance inside the venue is dimly lit/lounge feel, a place where you socialized/hang out over drinks and some appetizers. They do not have a full bar which is fine with me as I had the Old Rasputin Stout and a Charcuterie & Cheese Plate. This place is perfect for a small to medium size party with good food/drinks/service. There is an outside patio if you want to grab some air. Tip: Happy Hour Monday to Saturday and street parking is free after 6PM on Saturday and all day Sunday!

Just tried a few of the tapas which were delicious. Also tried the French press coffee which was pretty good. Check out my pics. I’ll have to go back to try the wine.

I came here for NYE with my girlfriends. We did not want to go to a crazy or loud place so we decided to go to a wine bar, hoping it would be a little less crazy… It was pretty LOUD. But we had a great time though. Ambience: Cozy, lively, festive, loud, diverse group of people, diverse age range. Customer Service: We had no issues. Our server was great and was well taken care of. Cleanliness: If the bathroom is nice and clean, then usually the whole restaurant is the same way. Food: Decent. We ordered a cheese platter and another appetizer. It was good! Music: There was a DJ. The variety was great. They played music from the 80s, 90s, and current. Not sure if that’s because it was New Year’s Eve, but I loved it. This was probably my 3−4th time here. Whenever I want to drink wine in LB, I come here!

Happy Hour: Monday — Friday from 4−7pm & Saturday from 12−7pm. I never noticed there were so many cute restaurants down on Linden! A colleague of mine suggested District Wine for our post work happy hour group hangout Thursday evening. We made reservations the morning of for 8. We were seated off in a separate room, perfect for 8 close to the back/restrooms. Perfect spot! Waiters and waitresses were all very friendly throughout our stay and made sure everything was okay more than once. We opened up several tabs which made it a lot easier to pay the bill. House Domestic Sparkling($ 6): Almost tastes like champagne and apple cider mixed into one delicious drink! I absolutely love my wine bubbly. Only two downfalls were the size of the happy hour food for the price and parking!

Came here a few weeks ago with a friend and boy did I feel sophisticated and shit! haha I believe it was a Saturday night and we arrived around 9pm. Mildly packed but definitely not hard to find a place to sit. There seemed to be a good number of medium sized groups(6 – 7) and many tables of couples/pairs. It was not overly loud either and the layout of the restaurant makes for a cozy and private feel no matter where you sit. So let’s talk food and wine. We got the 3 wines for $ 14 taster and it was amazing. It’s not the just the wines that they list on the menu they give you but ANY of the wines that were already open!(so we were told) which is super amazing and definitely better if you went later in the day right? later in the day = more bottles open = more for you to taste test! so of course. all reds. I tried a merlot, syrah, and a petite syrah. yum. The waitress knew her stuff and recommended the Prosciutto Bön-bons as a must try. She was right. I truly enjoyed my time there! I would definitely go back with other friends :)

I love this place! After walking pass by it one day, I told my sister that I need to try this place the next time I come visit. She took me here for happy hour and I loved it! They are super dog friendly and brought waters for our pups. Even though we sat outside, our server kept checking up on us. We ordered wine, meat flatbread and pea tapenade. I believe their wine is $ 5 a glass during happy hour. Such a good price! I loved every item that I tried. My favorite was the pea tapenade. It was really flavorful and something about it stood out to me but I don’t know what it is. I also like their flat bread. It’s thicker than most flatbreads and has so much meat on it. It reminded me of a pizza. I highly recommend coming here for a drink and small bites. Great place to just hang out and catch up over drinks!

Quietness/Relaxation spot Been wanting to check this place out since it was across from Blind Donkey and Green House Coffee, checked off my list. Happy hour — Monday ~ Friday 4pm to 7pm Saturday ~ 12pm to 7pm Parking — Most near by parking spots are meters and time limited, try to find a residential spot if you are planning to stay long. Make sure to read the signs if permits required! Meter spots can be parked for only 2 hours, after 6pm, no need to care. Sunday is all day free. Seats Patio and indoor seats are available. Great place to catch happy hour with girlfriends or have an afternoon lunch on a Saturday. Recommend to bring your ipad/notebook/etc to read. Can be cozy and quiet in certain areas. Food & Drinks The mushroom & pesto must eat it while it’s hot! Stone Cap Cabernet(red wine) fruity — okay Indaba Mosaic Blend(red wine) dark fruits & cocoa — like the blended flavors. Overall, will visit again on a weekend.
