I’d just like to point out really quick that I hardly take the time to log on the Internet and write reviews for any reason. But I can not bypass this opportunity to point out that I’ve had one of the best cup of coffee at eco coffee. I ordered the medium Horchatta latte and it was spot on! I’m a huge fan of Horchatta in general but putting it in my coffee cup just sparked my interest and it tastes just as good as it sounds. Totally recommended, and totally coming back.

This place is excellent. Local coffee, I always get their espresso shots. If you’re a whimp! Don’t do it! But if you love coffee or espresso, try their espresso. Sometimes they’ll have some of Porto’s bakery baked goods in their pastry cabinet. Always a plus, without the drive. Overall awesome little local coffee shop for students etc.

Stopped by to grab a cup coffee while working nearby. I try to avoid Starbucks at all costs, so it’s nice to find hidden gems like this place. The owner is super friendly, in fact we chatted for a few about the perils of running a small business… Lol. Back to the coffee; It was great! It is high quality organic, shade grown, etc. Exactly what I’m always on the lookout for! I’m not in the area often, but when I am I will definitely make a point to stop in for delicious cup of eco friendly Joe!

My husband and myself stopped in for a coffee after going to see our dentist next door. The barista behind the counter was totally awesome!!! He welcomed us and answered all of our questions thoroughly and without hesitation while brewing the other customers coffee. He knew exactly what he was doing while giving us the attention we needed. He was the best!!! The coffee was so yummy and hot! I love hot coffee, going to other places their coffee seems to be cooled off by the time they are done getting it ready for you. So have a hot cup of joe was great! We will definitely be back!!!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. Had the best Mayan Mocha of my life! I could distinguish the spices, which is saying a lot. It does take time to make the drinks, but they make them well! Very cute inside. I will be back!

Pretty good coffee and smoothies. They are just EXTREMELY and painfully slow about making drinks. Even when you are the only customer. Not much seating and wifi is glitchy.

Horchata blended is my favorite! This place is a gem not to miss! I come here occasionally and have picked up some of their Porto’s goodies too. Love the organic selection and other flavors that beat larger chains. It’s rather small inside but it’s cozy with great art work from different artists. The workers are great and personable. No issues with parking. Place reminds of all my hippie and Sheldon-like friends who try to be pretentious by looking awkwardly unpretentious with either long hair or short hair with long fringes swept to the side, usually wearing black-framed glasses, legs crossed, staring at a book never completely read, possessing a bag containing insurance agency pens, used tissue, and a decade-old journal of entries entered once every blue moon, looking like nothing in the world matters except the forbidden truth of atrocities and disparities of the world that becomes the topic of the banter, which only validates their superego of philosophical nothings of complaints that really do NOTHING to change the world even if art and music was part of their current identity… Then again, I could be wrong about these things. Anyway, this is what happens when you drink their coffee. Walked out like an ordinary tan-skinned me… with my UH alumni tshirt and 8-years old jeans. Had to.

It’s a tiny(could’ve also used the word«cute») coffee shop with very limited seating inside & out. From what I could see, most people take their coffee«to go» though since they’re walking their dog or jogging for exercise(it’s SoCal after all). The Barista that served my friend & I seemed so knowledgeable & comfortable at what he was doing. And he had a very charming personality which totally fits in with that whole, relax-have-a-seat-and-drink-some-organic-coffee vibe. I had the caramel mocha latte & really enjoyed it… like I-wish-I-could-be-drinking-it-while-I’m-typing-this-review-out kind of enjoyment. So good & I’m looking forward to having it again sometime. I may even have an iced one next time. I’m not opposed to changing it up. Try this place!

ORGANIC. LOCALLYBREWED. BETTERTHANSTARBUCKS? Oh crap. did I say that last line out loud. Oh gosh, I diiiiidd. YES, I’m a coffee addict, I mainline coffee through an IV drip all day, errday! Just kidding, but seriously, I drink a LOT of coffee. And Eco Coffee is around the corner from our house. So after a morning run at Heartwell, or meeting up with my gf Ali to walk our mini-dogs, we stop here and grab a cup. Eco Coffee is one of those chill vibe, go green joints. Without pushing the whole eco factor over the top(^_~). Located in the same little village as my beloved Panvimarn, just off of Carson and Bellflower Blvd. It has one of the best views of the park from the tables outside, and they are dog friendly. So your canine pal can relax outside while you’re sipping your latte and taking in the morning view before it gets busy. Something I do about 2 or 3 times a week if I can get up early enough to work in coffee and a run. The inside is cozy and comfy, with the most laid-back, relaxed vibe. Toss in the dim lighting and its the perfect olace for a little anatomy studying too! They host open mic nights as well, and are open a little later those nights, whereas they usually close at 7. I love that the showcase local artists and are changing the art every so often. They have plenty of iced, blended, or hot drinks. Lattes, Chai teas and fraps oh my! I love the cookies and cream frap when it’s hot out as it’s tasty, just enough sweet, and it’s served in a mason jar with a straw and whipped cream. The horchata lattes are killer here, as well as their Americano and Chai latte. They get their bagels and pastries from Porto’s which is just so much yum! It’s a little pricier then Starbucks, but their price tag comes with organic, delicious tasting coffee. versus ya know, burnt tasting coffee that you sometimes get from Starbucks. Plus, far friendlier baristas, board games to play while you drink! How wicked cool is that. Yep, okay, I’m a dork, so I guess I would get excited at board games in a coffee shop haha. But then again, it’s pretty cool to see something unique. They carry soy, almond and coconut milk too, but it’s an additonal charge, but only $.50, so not to shabby. I love that the baristas have such awesome attitudes no matter how busy they get, because the layout is confusing so customers often can’t tell who is waiting for their cup and who is waiting to order. Other than that. fabulous! 4 stars for great drinks, awesome service, actual coffee cups for drink-in customers, chill vibe and being organic! Yummay!

One of my favorite long beach coffee shops! The white chocolate blended is my favorite. The employees are really friendly and have good recommendations. The art is always changing and is usually really interesting.

Such a welcoming artsy, little hipster coffee shop in the long beach city college/lakewood area. With dim lighting and relaxing background music, it is a good spot to enjoy good coffee while catching up with a friend. If you’re looking for a place to study but need a quiet space this isn’t it. BUT I would definitely recommend the coffee. I stop by for some when I need an extra boost of energy. The staff are friendly and easy going, and you’re always welcomed with a burst of energy! **You can also enjoy coffee and convo outside, with a view of Heartwell park across the street***

The Mayan mocha is awesome with coconut milk! They were really nice and talked to me for like five minutes as I struggled to decide! I didn’t want a drink with a lot of sugar so they toned down the sweetness for me. Super nice people and the egg omelette they were making looked super fresh and smelled yummy.

A cute little coffee spot to get your caffeine fix on. The décor is simple with a few chairs and tables with local art on the walls that you can buy. There’s also a couple of tables to sit outside to enjoy your brew. The barista dude was friendly and up for a chat while I waited on my iced mocha to be made. If you need somewhere quiet and calm to hang out in, I’d recommend this spot!

Friendly, delicious, cozy, artsy, awesome. Employees are incredibly nice and helpful. Always smiling and engaging in friendly conversation. Coffee is strong and organic. No chemical processing. Roasted by a local gentleman. Establishment is cozy and full of work by local artists. I come here to study and have found it to be a great place to bring friends to talk and study. Great local coffee shop for those that love supporting small business!

This is a small organic coffee shop that also serves smoothies. It is located right off of Carson. There’s a driveway on either side of the shop for access to two different parking areas and two bike parking areas out front. When it’s busy it can be hard to find parking and the parking spaces in one of the lots are a bit on the small side. When you walk in there’s some seating off to the right and the counter is on the left. There is also some outdoor seating available. The space wasn’t planned out well for traffic moving through the store. This becomes a bit of an issue when it’s busy as you’re not sure who is waiting for coffee and who is in line. There are some board games on the shelves along with several books. I didn’t ask the employees to confirm but I’m pretty sure those are there for customer use. The coffee is a bit more expensive than Starbucks but so much better! A few occasions when it wasn’t busy and I couldn’t decide what to get, the barista asked me questions about what I felt like… do I want something rich, light, decaf, etc. He recommended a drink with some small changes. Both times the drink was perfect for what I wanted at the time! My favorite right now is the iced horchata latte with coconut milk. So yummy!

I like this place a latte :) Even though it is very small, I think it’s more endearing that way. I’ve never had a problem getting a table and a plug for my laptop, and I go around lunchtime. As the name suggests, Eco Coffee uses eco-friendly ingredients by keeping it organic. The space is filled with works from local artists, which I dig. I have never had a disappointing drink here, and I have tried quite a few. Their Chai Latte is the best I’ve had! Everyone here is very casual and laid-back. The baristas always have a friendly greeting for me, and I always see them chatting to regulars like old friends(or who knows, maybe they are). The prices are quite reasonable, given the quality. For my fellow lactose-intolerant brethren, they offer not only soy, but almond and coconut milk! $ 0.50 extra, but that’s usually the drill. Great place to relax and pass time between classes, or to chat with a friend. Oh yeah, they have free Wi-Fi too, just in case you needed more reason to drop by. I have been here numerous times, and never had a bad experience. It is a very small business with just a few tables, but the service here is great. The staff is very friendly, and they even go out of their way to ask how your day is and converse with you. That is not common these days. I kind of get a 60’s feel when I come in here . I have only ordered the blended frappes here, but they have numerous coffees, iced drinks, blended drinks, smoothies, teas, etc. They even offer other milks such as soy or almond with a .50 cent upcharge. I have had the banana mocha,(I do believe that is one drink that I had iced and not blended) the cookies and cream, the neapolitan, and my husband has had their white mocha a few times in which I tried. I found them all to be yummy. My favorite one is the neapolitan, so it has been my choice most of the time on my last few visits. I personally have not seen it as a blended drink anywhere else either. I’m not sure where it all applies but the drink is a strawberry and there is a load of chocolate or fudge on the side which adds the chocolate to it. I’m not sure where the vanilla comes in but it’s either in there or the whipped cream comes into play. Either way, I don’t care. I love it. Pricing is not bad. It’s a little cheaper than a lot of places which is good. They also have a cash back rewards program that sends you some cash back periodically during purchases. I hope that they stick around for a long time. Good drinks, and they appreciate their customers. They seem to have good business so gives me hopes on that aspect. Not a whole lot more to say, but I say check them out!
