Looks like I’m not the only one disappointed by the service here. Placed a phone order for a bagel egg sandwich. The girl taking the order sounded confused so I had her read the order back to me to ensure she had it correct. When I got home and opened the bag I discovered they forgot the cheese. I didn’t pay $ 5 for a bagel sandwich so that I could get home and remake the sandwich and put my own cheese on it. Last time they gave me the wrong type of bagel, this time no cheese… next time I’ll be going to The Bagelry instead. Also, by 10am on a Sunday they had run out of everything bagels.

Just picked up a phone order and they screwed up my order yet again. At least 50% of the time they mess up phone orders. When I called to let the manager know she said that we ordered it that way. Most definitely I did not… we made them read the order back and it was correct. If your employees can’t enter orders correctly or make them accurately that is not my fault. The correct response is «I apologize for the mistake, how can I make this right?» You are in the service industry, your job is to make your customers happy. CHECKYOURORDERBEFOREYOULEAVE! Their QA/QC is terrible.

Disappointed and disrespected. I used to love Eisntein Bros when I worked in Kansas City so I really wanted this to become a favorite spot especially that I live right by it. But oh well, they mismanage their place and are rude about it. I stop at this place for a quick tea in the morning. I go to the counter and no one helps me, I go to the order area, the lady makes me repeat it twice and then asks me to go to the counter directly. I go the counter, and the lady asks me to repeat my order. I tell her, and she asks«are you okay?» She doesn’t asks if everything is okay, but if I personally have a problem. I tell her I am okay but I have been waiting for a while from one counter to the other, and she doesn’t apologize but instead she puts on her attitude face and tells me «WEAREBUSY, SIR!» Mind you, there were no more than five people in the whole place. I tell her«yea, I am busy too» which is why I’m not going back.

Awful!!! Terrible management!!! Watching the staff is like watching the keystone cops. THREE times I ordered a Nova and Lox and EACHTIME20 minutes passed and no sandwich. They did not even remember. Each time the mgr. Apologizes, etc. I am the stupid one I guess. Why have I gone back? I keep hoping for a change– not! Don’t be stupid like me. Get coffee and bagels elsewhere. They will be out of business soon anyway.

Half an hour for a toasted bagel? I know that it can get busy on a weekend, but the lack of a long line doesn’t mean they are quick.

The bagels are really good, and the coffee is adequate, however the staff seems to be lacking. Customer service should be a priority, but here it isn’t. Perhaps the hiring process is flawed, but for the most part the staff is clueless.

Man. I really wanted to love this place. We moved into the area and it seemed like such a convenient spot for lazy breakfasts. Unfortunately, they run out of the good bagels Sooo early. I sleep in on the weekends, so by the time I get my butt out of bed and stagger over, it’s easily around 10 a.m. and I’m SOL when it comes to the bagel selections. My boyfriend has no problem with it because he’s a plain bagel and cream cheese kind of guy. :) I recommend the apple cinnamon bagel though if it’s in stock.

These are my favorite bagels! I usually get a big box along with the giant box of coffee. Yummy :) —

To Unilocal’s standard, I’m considered a «regular» here but I’ve only been here twice. This place is not too shabby. The big drawback is that by afternoon, most of their bagels are gone. There is no replenishment for the rest of the day. Perhaps, that’s why this place gets a lower rating. Otherwise, I like that there is wifi and a place for me to sit and study or do work. The workers are nice, ample parking available, and place is clean overall.

Three strikes! First was a couple of weeks back I had a 12+ hour day at work, I was running on little sleep. So imagine my surprise when I take a sip of my large Carmel macchiato and realize it was pure bitter plain coffee. I had to throw it out. I let it go because they gave me a free replacement a week later when I complained. Second, went last week and got my regular bagel. I get home and open it and the bagel was so burnt it was crispy, their was barely any shmear on half the bagel, the rest was dry. Today, I got there pretty early, ordered my regular. I got my warm hot bagel, now I just needed my large coffee. About 10 people behind me got ring up and started to get their orders. Meanwhile, no one was manning the coffee station. 10 min later someone realized people were waiting for coffee. A worker started to make the coffee orders, after the third person that was there way after me got their order I started to get a little irritated. My once hot bagel was cold and as usually would be chewy. After another 5 orders after me were completed the worker asked me what I was waiting for. I had to tell her I’ve been here almost 30 min waiting for a coffee order and everyone after me has already gotten their coffee. The girl unsympathetic apologized, and finally had the thought to go to her computer and hit the«back» button and see I was the first one to order. I mean I can’t comprehend why someone wouldn’t think to do this first. This could have been all avoided if workers didn’t decide to stock shelves while it started to get busy. These new workers are not up to parr and are making the simple task of getting a bagel and coffee an undesirable task. Also, I shouldn’t have to pay extra for shmear just so they can put the regular amount that they SHOULD be putting on in the first place. One thing I hate is when you have to adjust your order or pay for something they should be giving you in the first place, that’s when you know an establishment is going down hill. I go once a week and travel from Bixby Knolls and am now going to start driving farther to the traffic circle so I don’t have to deal with this poor service.

I would give this place five stars for the food and three for service. I’m not sure why, but they are always disorganized and I am a person with limited patience. Today was the same, I just wanted a dozen bagels and they kept changing who would take my order, finally the third person took it, my question-why did it take three tries? I’ll keep coming here because my people want bagels, and maybe one day the service won’t annoy me.

I went into the local Einstein Bagel shop last Sunday, August 30. The workers were friendly when they took my simple order for two bagels toasted. The issue that was so upsetting and extremely frustrating was when twenty– five minutes later I had to leave for an appointment and my bagels were still not presented to me. This was service of the worst order. I was not even provided a discount coupon or an apology for having waited so long. What’s up with that? Mack

Not happy this morning with my take out breakfast from Einsteins today at all. They were slammed but that is no excuse for poor quality control! Sad amount of cream cheese sad little tomatoes — not worth the $ 6 charged! Even a sad little slice of lox. I live across the street and this is my weekend treat. I know what it should look like. If this happens again they will loose my business for sure.

Younger manager that works this location as well as the location at the traffic circle is just plain rude not only to the customers but the staff. There’s just an attitude that shouldn’t ever exist in customer service. She messed up my order, no big deal there since anything can be fixed. The issue I had with her was that she argued with me in front of other customers and proceeded to tell me that she entered my order exactly as I had ordered it. Basically she knew me and my preference better than myself lol! She was pretty reluctant to re-do it and after some unnecessary back/forth finally I had it and snapped and said«can you fix my order please!!!» To which she reluctantly agreed. While I wait for my order and was within ear shot she proceeded to discuss how rude I was to her to another customer. What the heck? I’m not on with that. Take your money elsewhere and go support a mom and pop bagelry!

Love this place for a quick bite to eat. It’s a little pricey and the employees don’t seem that happy but the eats are good. They would do better with a little better service and if thy didn’t keep running out of sourdough bagels haha

Yestday I grabbed 2 of my favorite sandwiches… the havest chicken salad. Between the soft dough and salty lil bits on my everything bagel to the creamy chicken salad with sweet cranberries and crunchy almonds… along with sharp lil bite of the red onions and fresh veggies… it is awesome.

Good bagels. Friendly staff. Today I ordered the tasty turkey bagel. The girl with the purple hair is super friendly. My time came to pay and Cat called me over to the register. I walked up to her and she walked away to do something in the production line. Leaving me looking around like I may have misunderstood what she said. I walked back and got back in line. Cat then returned and called me back again. Weird experience. She didn’t say sorry or anything. She asked my name and if I wanted a receipt. Nothing more. She’s not at all friendly like everyone else. So… People that came after me almost finished eating and I still did t have my bagel. Cat seems to have forgot it in the toaster. She didn’t apologized or even offered an explanation when she gave it to me. Just a «here you go». RUDE!!! Cat sucks. Lol. Thankfully I have options for bagels and I don’t have to come back. But the bagel was alright even though it was cold from just sitting in the toaster. See you… Oh right. Never!

Ok, I do enjoy Einstein Bros Bagel’s bagels and schmears. Problem is this particular location has some flaws. On several occasions both when dining in and for take-out, they have screwed up my order. So now whenever I have to visit this location(it’s the closest EBB to us unfortunately) I make sure I check my order before leaving. Staff here usually seem like they want to be anywhere but there. I’ve often sat there waiting for my order while the employees chit chat. Today’s cashier was friendlier than normal, however when I had asked for a tub of low fat jalapeño salsa cream cheese, he tried handing me a tub of plain. And of course they were all out of the jalapeño salsa schmear. Argh! This is not the first time they’ve been out of product. More than twice I’ve come in for a specific type of bagel and they’ve run completely out. Very frustrating. The execution of your order is also problematic. Sometimes the slicing of your bagel is completely uneven. I ordered a breakfast sandwich once where the sides were so lopsided where one half was huge, and the other paper thin to where it fell apart next to the fillings. A total mess! Customer Svc aside, the bagels are decent. The offer a good variety of flavors and schmears — both regular cream cheese and low fat. They also have bagel bites, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, juices, and coffees. I realized they recently opened another EBB in LB off of Los Coyotes. Slightly farther away than this one, but I may have to check it out to see if their service is any better. Fingers crossed!

You don’t have to be an Einstein to eat Bagels Woohoo its Friday and boy what I week I’ve had! So needless to say I over slept. Well over slept for me because I usually get up at 3:45am to 4:00am, lay there, then get up and do the darn thing, let the babies out to potty, we talk and play and I make a spinach-pineapple-mango smoothie for work then I leave because I’m bored with still 20 to 30 minutes to spare. If you have not guessed it I’m a MORNINGPERSON to the Nth degree. I love the quite of the mornings. Well this particular morning I somehow fell back to sleep… Stop judging me it is NOT like you have NEVER done it before! When my eyes opened I could see day light so I automatically knew it was after 5am. S*IT…I flew out of bed, ran through my morning routine, let the babies out, made my smoothie and still had about 5 to 10 mins to chillax before I ran out the door in search of caffeine. I ALREADY knew I was going to be starving because I ran out of yogurt and blueberries, fresh fruit, celery snacks and carrots so what to do? Donut? Hummmm tempting but too much sugar. I could get one of their BANG’in blueberry muffins but I wanted something different. Bagels? I haven’t had one in a while and I traffic is flowin’ real well for a Friday so I’ll stop and get some for my group. I take out my not so smart iPhone and pull up the Unilocal app all while knee driving on the freeway, polishing my toes, reading the LA times and singing«Fancy» by Iggy Azalea… j/k Pump your brakes for peet-sake! I was just driving and singing, which my singing could still be cause for an arrest since I couldn’t carry a note if I had a bucket with a lid. Anywho I pulled up the trusty Unilocal app and searched for bagels. Yes I know…“DANGEROUS” but I know how to multi-task and keep one eye-ball on the road while the other looks at the phone! It’s an acquired skill that is both dangerous and ONLY against the law if you get caught. Hehe! See how I explained that away! I see EINSTIENBAGELS and I’m SUPERCLOSE so I pull off the fwy and find it quickly! Yippy another plus! I knew they had GREAT bagels but I had not been to one in a VERYLONGTIME! THANKYOU UnilocalAPP! I get in and the place is sudo-busy! People are paying and ordering! I was blinded by all the white flour to notice I needed to stand in line to be helped! I was wondering why no one was paying me any attention! When I came out of my bagel fog I noticed a line had formed. So I just went to stand in it and tried to play off the fact I had no idea! I don’t think anyone noticed! Since I had a moment to droll over the display window I figured out a few bagel flavors I thought my group might like! Finally I was next and I stepped up to the counter! Baker’s Dozen please! I made my 13 selections and then tacked on 2 cream cheese tubs as well. They have SEVERAL to pick from which is GREAT! Everything from plain to FANCY-SMANCY and spicy heaven! I pick onion and chives and a tomato flavor that I thought might be different and go well with the bagels. Next you pay and you’re off like a dirty shirt and on your way! I love that they came in a box and the 2 cream cheese tubs fit in little tub sections on the box. NIFTY and secure! Everyone was SUPERNICE and patient! The place is UBERORDERLY so you really can’t mess up unless you’re me and are not paying attention… again me! There is ample parking and since it is morning the entire parking lot was open. I’m guessing that mid mornings it can get a little crowded but for the most part parking is a breeze here! They also have a HUGE area to eat if you want to stay and they have bottled drinks if you decided to get a sandwich or wrap! A well-oiled machine if I must say so myself. The fwy entrance is right up the street which was perfect and I was able to hope back on and STILL get to work at my normal time! Yippy! I hate being late for things! I will for sure be back for more bagels!

My first visit to purchase a Baker’s Dozen. Thintastic Bagels™ are great! In consciousness & in taste. They are a lighter way to enjoy a bagel. Starting at just 160 calories they pair perfect with any reduced-fat cream cheese spread or can be substituted on any breakfast or lunch sandwich for a low-calorie option. The wait was tolerable — 10 minutes from door to order — and the counter server(s) pleasant; quick-to-offer suggestions; but slow moving the line. It didn’t matter the number of order takers?! Just the speed. The crowd lingers — especially in mid morning, over bagels? Don’t plan on sitting or staying. Overall, great tasting bagels, and healthy alternatives.
