This place has THE shittiest customer service. I’ve been here plenty times before and every employee including managers had a crappy attitude. I showed up 45 minutes before closing and… guess who closed? That’s happened numerous times. I was at the drive thru for about 10 minutes & didn’t hear anything from anyone so I pulled up to the window & about 3 people walked by and said nothing I was there another 5 minutes and gave a honk to receive some acknowledgement yet no one said a think. A moment later the woman/manager just walks up and mouthed«we’re closed» and walked away. Why must the people who work here be so damn bitter? It wouldn’t kill you to be polite or maybe even close WHENYOU’RESUPPOSEDTO! Only reason they get 2 stars is because of the food quality, not at all for the store/employees themselves.

I ordered a 12 piece, they made it and sat it on the counter waiting for someone to add the extras, meanwhile they proceeded to take orders and fill the new orders, this went on for almost 15 minutes until I pointed out that my order was still sitting there, then instead of an apology I got attitude. It was my first time going there and it will be my last, shame being that I live 4 minutes away. I give the chicken the one mark because after I microwaved it to warm it back up it wasn’t that bad. Next time I’ll go to Juan Pollo.

If I was able to not put a star at all, I wouldn’t. First of all i go on my lunch in the drive thru thinking it’s gonna be quick and easy. The line didn’t move for about 20 minutes. When I took my order the last told me to hold on a «sec» and by that she meant another 10 minutes. When I finally got up to the window nobody apologized, they just kept walking back and forth in front of the window ignoring the fact that I was mad. And there were about 5 or 6 cars behind me waiting and they decide to put a closed sign on the window after these people have been waiting. When I got my food it was cold, my sprite tasted like water and they didn’t even try to offer me compensation for my horrible experience. Never going back

Horrible! My chicken was raw and my moms tostada was burned. This use to be our spot, but ever since they got a new manager the food and service is horrible. We placed a catering order that was supposed to be done at 4:50 we didn’t receive it till 5:45.

First time at this location. Horrible service! I stood waiting for the cashier for about 5 minutes to finish her conversation(I was the only person standing there). Finally when she finished her conversation with the cooks she had an attitude out of this world! I ordered the Ultimate Double Chicken Tostada. The avocado was molding and when I asked could they replace it she said that is the way that they come. I decided to dine in, but the excessive flies drove me out.

Well where do I start! First of all, I keep giving this a chance over and over again only because its the only Pollo Loco near my work place and every time is worse. Then the manager Zenaida a total B#@!! with a nasty attitude. The Salad, always with old lettuce and brown old avocado. Almost always I have to return something and get it better, ALWAYS! Today I ordered a Carved Chicken Salad, the breast was the size of a pigeon! I asked the girl in the drive thru IF i could get a different one, she tells the Manager and she makes a face and supposedly gives me a new piece the same size and says there Happy! Oh hell NO… I asked for her name and left. VERYDISAPPOINTED!!!

Great place because it’s pollo loco and it’s only a 3 min drive from my house but they always seem to forget the salsas. There is this lady that hates her job and tries to get crazy with people but I checked her last time, so it’s all good.

Wow. Just when you think things can get worse. I recently went thru the drive thru and had a long wait time. While I was waiting you can see the manager having an argument with a worker who looked like he did not want to be there. He was chopping up some food with an angry smirk. Then smoke comes out thru the drive thru window. Someone burned some tortillas. I just wanted to get a refund but I had already been waiting for 20 minutes. The food was lousy and I got a wrong side.

There are only 2 things I really have a problem with at this store. They don’t remove the core of the salad which a ultimately reduces the amount of food you actually have. And they will give you old burnt wings just to get rid of them. When they should be saying they don’t have any. They won’t compensate any extra when you have to return food for that very reason. I live close to this store but drive to Compton for better quality food. 2 thumbs up one thumb down. That’s what important to me.

im almost always dissapointed with this location. THE drive thru employees have so much attitude i dont know why they’re working with peopple in the first place. and when i ask for my condiments, they act like its too hard to walk they’re fatasses a few steps to get it. i hate this location and hope the owner gets them a REALCUSTOMERSERVICE seminar so they know how they are supposed to treat customers. its BULL.

I live just around the corner of this pollo loco and aside from the food being prepared fast and delicious the worker are just the best. They’re all super polite and attentive! I have been really surprise of what nice people that work here are! I recommended if not for the great el pollo loco taste but for the amazing people that work here!

Reviews are kind of old, but not much has changed. Wife and I wanted to grab a quick bite. A trip to a fast food drive thru should never take longer then I’d say 5 or so minutes really. 20 was what we spent, and I’m not talking do to a long line. Apparently an 8 piece meal with two sides and a drink takes a long time to put together. Whatever the cause of the delay all I know is it has insured no return visit. Gave it two stars simply because the chicken was good, service however left plenty to be desired. Oh and the corn cake crumbled apart like corn hash with the sweetness of a peanut brittle. Yuck corn hash brittle is not a tempting side at all.

Wow! All I can say is that this place sucks __________(fill in the blank). I love EPL but this place takes half an hour to give you your order. If you are super hungry and want your food rather quick DONOTSTOPHERE! You can go to the Louisiana Fried Chicken/Chinese Food next door. The salsa bar surface is always covered with salsa and guacamole. I don’t think I ever seen it clean. The Pico de Gallo was completely gone and the Fruit Punch was way too watery. My rating for this place would be a –3 but it does not allow me to do that. The reason it is a –3 is as follows. 1) Super Slow Service! 2) Dirty everything! 3) Only 4 people working when there should be 8. If you go here to eat you are One Crazy Chicken!

Why in the wild wild world of sports is a review of EPL being written? I had about 15 minutes to grab some food and jet back to the office, and was kinda in the mood for chicken. Usually when the craving hits, I’ll trek over to Charo Chicken, but this time the clock didn’t permit. Compared to most EPL’s, this one is sub-par. The dining area isn’t the cleanest, and only some of the rice was cooked. It’s either that, or it wasn’t cooked at all as there were super jawbreaker strength rice grains mixed in. The green guac-salsa also had a weird sour taste to it… it may be time to make a fresh batch methinks… They also need to wash out their iced tea dispensers. There is one for unsweetened, and another for raspberry flavored. My unsweetened has a faint raspberry taste… it’s probably 10% raspberry and 90% unsweetened so it weirded me out a bit. Anyways, there it is. Edit 30 mins later: –1 for giving me a tummy ache. =(
