I love their fruit and variety of products that you can buy from them. There are asian snacks and kimchi! They sell coffee. Okay, the thing is… I recently bought a Naked smoothie drink from them and it was expired for 4 days already. If you see the fruit selection, some of the fruit are starting to rot and change color. I advise you check wisely before purchasing. It makes me wonder how clean and trustworthy this place is…

I love Fresh Fruit Bowl for many reasons:
1) they always have fresh produce
2) they always have hard to find items (tomatillo’s all year round)!!
3) always have hard to find asian ingredients (this place will make you a sushi chef… very authentic selection)
4) it’s 2 blocks away from where I live and has long hours
5) All herbs like thyme, oregano, chives, etc are $ 1/pack
So why four stars? It’s super pricey. Sometimes their prices are as much as double or triple the prices at the waldbaums which is 2 blocks down and across the street. However their product does last longer in the fridge.
Definitely the spot for someone that finds odd ethnic recipes on the web and needs very specific ingredients. Staff is also very nice.

It was DELICIOUS! The watermelon, pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberries all ripe and sweet as sugar. I Asked to add mangoes, kiwi, blackberries, blueberries,
raspberries. All the fruit was premium quality, delicious and sliced to perfection.
Presentation of a large platter was picture perfect.
It was everything I asked for and SWEET TOO!
I would highly recommend «The Fruit Bowl.»
To bad they don’t deliver outside of the Long Beach area.
They are my go to people for fruit platters. …

I was very excited to have a small produce shop around the corner from me when I moved to long beach. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the food is there.

I’m on a juicing kick.
I need fresh veggies and fruit
this place actually has some of the veggies I can’t find at waldbaums… because their produce selection blows… as well as a lot of fresh herbs, and a great assortment of fruits. I dont think they’re terribly overpriced — I paid about 50 beans for a pretty varied assortment of fruits and veggies, enough to make 3 juices a day for 5 days and I didn’t run out, so thats not bad.

I love this store. It’s a great place to get fruit before or after the beach. The quality of the fruit has improved after the change of ownership. Everyone should ignore the earlier reviews because that was when there was a different owner. Love this store!
