Golden Shore R V Park

Charged me for not staying there. Really? If you’re smart you will never ever MAKE A RESERVATION here. Cant believe they Still Charge You for «Canceling» your reservations-​no matter when you cancel !!! This place is not run very professionally. They are also very rude on the phone when making reservations. All they wanted was my credit card number. For both the reservations & to cancel the reservations. Either way, You Lose! What kind of business does that? DON’t GO THERE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL $$$$ HUNGRY PLACE !!!

RVers BEWARE!!! Stayed here while working in LA almost 8 months. Overcharged my card without authorization, did not honor GS discount consistently. When I brought to Shondra’s attention upon check out, she pointed to the sign and said No refunds. I wrote an email to the resort Manager, only to have Shondra call me back in her condescending tone. Would not give me owners information to discuss the poor service and fraudulent charges. Now Im forced to share my poor experience with everyone and contact the State of California to find out who the statutory agent is… Crappy…

Was able to reach an amicable solution once I was able to locate and deal direct with the owners. Hopefully the new management team will be able to be proactive and do the right thing before someone goes down this path again

Nice campground with a pool and spa. Full hook ups and clean showers. A little expensive for 55 $ but much better than the Dockweiler campground near the airport where you just have a spot for the same price and a lot of noise you get from the airport. Even the beach spot did not make us stay there.

Nice park, we really like our spot. This is located in the Long Beach harbor and it is a well kept park. Super convenient location which is close to all sorts of sights and places to go. The park is gated which is nice for security. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

we stayed here October 20−24^th we checked in after hours around 7:38pm i knocked on the door and the lady who was working at the office was still there so once she seen me she looked at me and then went back to what she was doing on the computer 5 minutes later she tuned the lights off and got ready to leave she opened the door never said anything to me i finally told her i wanted to check in and she said very rude checking in? and i said yes then she said whats your lastname i told her my lastname she was rude the entire time once i left i talked to the lady who stays at night and told her how rude she was being so she gave me a hug and apologized very nice lady the lady who was rude her name was Ezmerelda. the next day we finished checking in and it was the same lady ezmerelda she was still rude my husband and i both felt very unwelcomed i have never received service the way i did at golden shore rv park I wont be staying there again because of the service we recieved.

Beautiful RV park, close to attractions and easy access. I agree with other reviews office staff needs to take PR classes it really starts your stay on a sour note dealing with a snippy rude check in person butt maybe they feel they don’t have to be welcoming with what they have to offer.

Convenient to everything near long beach. Quite a few long term campers. Gated security but we still had our toad robbed. Very disappointed. Only game in town so be VERY careful with your stuff.

Nice place! So close to the water. Spaces are okay size. Love that there is a heated pool and spa. Have a small general store. Dogs welcome however you have to take them to the dog run to use the restroom. Close to downtown and the aquarium

We stayed here for the LBGP — never been and managed to get a cancellation. The office staff were great, the facility is extremely clean and well kept and location, location, location. Few blocks/​short bike ride from downtown, the race, the restaurants — great place to take a dog. We had a great time and hope we can get a spot for next year’s race.

Musical RV’s sounds about right… we moved 3 times during our stay and we booked our stay for a straight week of vacation… we didn’t wake up and say can we stay 1 more night… the first night they had us in a spot with no hook ups parked sideways on a hill in the back of the RV park… our water wouldn’t work properly bc of this and our generator would not work bc it wasn’t registering gas due to the extreme lean of how we were made to park/​squeeze in… the facilities were clean and nice, it was a hassle having to put in codes everywhere from entering the park to using the rest room… I have a disabled son that is not independent and I was told that he could not shower in the womens restroom… he’s not even 10 years old. it was a very busy and weird set up… good location being that it’s the only rv park in Long Beach. The US Open was happening otherwise we would have rather been in Huntington Beach. I wouldn’t seek out staying here again, only if it was a last resort…

4 stars for location but people in office not helpful and gave wrong directions. The free Passport shuttle doesn’t come anywhere near there any more. Take the bus, though. It is clean, has friendly drivers and the stop is right across the street. 1.25 each or 60 cents senior. Shoreline Village is walkable but wear comfortable shoes because you’ll want to detour and see the park, too. Parker’s Lighthouse had nice outdoor seating with a view of the Queen Mary. Recommend the smoked salmon pasta, battered fish & chips, and we even went back for chowder.

This was an awesome RV park in downtown Long Beach. The location is amazing if you like to walk or ride a bike — there are plenty of food options and grocery stores (Safeway and Walmart) within a mile or so distance. My wife and I hardly ever drove during our 3 month stay. Parking in Long Beach can be a nightmare, so we always walked or rode our bikes everywhere. We also never felt in danger, even at night.
There issue a huge problem with the management here. We were lucky to get our long term spot, but even after we had a reservation, one of the guys in the office was convinced we were not supposed to be there because he had misspelled our name in the books. They were not very reasonably, nor were they willing to help us. The only good guy in the office was Jose, and they blamed him for everything that went wrong.
The laundry room is a bit cramped, but not bad. The pool and hottub were very nice.
The outside spaces were very cramped and hard to get into, but the couple of rows in the middle weren’t bad at all. There is also lots of pretty green grass and palm trees as well. The entire complex is fenced in with a gate that closes at night.
If we were going back to Long Beach, we would definitely stay here again.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The worst management we have ever had to deal with and we RV 8 months out of the year. We went to the office the evening before we were supposed to leave and asked if we could stay one more night and the lady said no problem the space was available, just come in the morning and handle the paperwork. So at 9 am we went in to verify everything and the asian man working who claimed to be the manager, was extremely rude to us and said that he didn’t have any record and if we wanted to stay we would have to move spots and just deal with it. Well we already moved sports once earlier in our stay to accommodate a monthly customer they had arriving that wanted our spot. It’s like a game of musical rv’s at this place. We were only there for 6 nights and they wanted us to move twice! Yes the park was clean but it was definitely not worth all the hassles and the rude treatment. The first spot we had was nice and there was plenty of room to park our car. The second spot we had was very narrow and there was nowhere to park our car. So, it’s kind of luck of the draw on that one. Overall AVOID this place if you expect to be treated with any respect.

Great RV Park! Friendly staff, super clean and very secure. The space was even and well groomed. The pool and hot tub area are nice! Sparkling clean water and great lounge chairs. The bathroom and showers were nice. They have a laundry room that is cheap…$ 1 for a load of wash and $.50 for 30 minutes of the dryer! The park is in a loop with a very nice road. The kids can ride their bikes or skateboard around it. Their little store has ice and other amenities. Great location, just a mile walk to the beach and tons of shopping and chain restaurants at The Pike. Free shuttle too! Close to PCH to go anywhere up and down the coast. I will stay here again!

When you think ‘LA’ you think/​hear about the bad and not so much the good. HA! Let me tell you.
Sure it’s in Long beach-​but NICE!!! Right on the water plenty of walking trail for the dogs! A nice park. Every where we looked were high quality R’V’s. Pool, dog poo area, grass on most spots and right in the down town night life area. Night life was 6 block away. Right next to the freeway-​which you never hear – a quality spot to RV if you RV.
The owners are no joke-​they tell you the rules and if you park your car where you shouldn’t it will get towed-​no noise after 10:00pm-no slack on this either-​washers/​dryers on site etc. Pets allowed of couse. They look at your RV and if it looks nice your in. No duct tape etc-​Gated with pass code to get in – I never heard a ‘boom boom’ stereo… the entire time we were there…
This is the place to stay if in LA… Very nice… Ajax is a must around your tires and all. wink wink.

Beautiful location. Great scenery. Nice Palm trees.
Spots are a bit narrow. Especially for the cost. Pretty pricey even for the area to park your RV. Its like $ 1500 a month for the spot to park I believe.
The clubhouse is big enough to have a party or a meeting. They have a store that sells some convenience stuff right there on the grounds.
Not a ton of parking if you have anything other than the RV with you.
The people staying here all seemed pretty chill though. A very laid back crowd. I guess if you think of the kind of people that live in RV’s and can afford 1300 – 1500 a month for a spot to park it — you know the kind of people living here.
