I’m only giving this part of healthcare partners long beach a 3 star rating because there were a couple of nurses, I can’t find their names which is sad because they’re always nice, helpful and friendly, and for my obgyn Dr. Eno. Before her, I had no idea how awful all my other doctors and interactions with this medical group have been. She was an amazing doctor who cared about my physical, mental, emotional, and overall wellbeing– a quality LACKING in most doctors and the healthcare system in general. With all that, their communication to their patients are almost always he said she said– you have to actively get names and times of what was said on the phone otherwise they «have no record.» I have noticed they started using the Patient online Portal more but it’s a little too late. Had an incident with them last year and now that Dr. Eno is leaving, I am too. Without getting into too many details, let’s just say: there was a nurse there who actively chastised my reproductive choices, an on call doctor who didn’t take me seriously, and when I got pregnant a second time last year and in severe pain for TWO weeks unable to eat or keep anything down during an extreme heatwave, I got the he said she said, call this number, no this number, we don’t have records of that, are you sure questioning runaround. It wasn’t until dr. Eno came back from her vacation that I was properly cared for. I talked to the supervisor of this department about that one nurse and they both apologized and properly addressed the situation, I believe the sincerity. The obgyn location is clean, the staff is semi-​friendly and kind of welcoming– they’ve gotten better the past year, mostly talking to themselves but they’re human, but your choices are semi difficult to get approved and moved along which I think is due to a lot of the errors because of incorrect data filing or paperwork, I’m not even sure, I’ve never received a straight answer. If I could afford a PPO, I would’ve just followed Dr. Eno. She placed my IUD perfectly and actually answered her emails. I will say that they’ve recently been more accommodating to my mental health concerns (I have general and social anxiety and bipolar) by working with my conditions as opposed to not even wanting to deal with them like other medical doctors have done in the past.

Personally I like HealthCare Partners and they’ve generally been very reliable in keeping patient appointments on time without waits nor delays and without incident.
In an industry riddled by inconsistent service as the healthcare /​medical service has been known for, hearing horror stories of waiting room delays and appointments not being honored on time, I’d say HCP does a good job in their organization of making sure the time of the patient is respected and getting people in and out.

I was really unhappy with the service here. It simply takes too long for them to get to you. Also they locked customers past opening time which for any business is unacceptable! For the service you get is it really worth coming here and waiting about an hour for your turn? What could they be doing during that time? It just takes a few minutes per checkup? Maybe they like to keep you waiting! I will never come here again no matter how sick I am!

Dalia the head nurse is always there for you, if you need your appointment changed she will help you. Staff is always very nice and professional. It is very clean as well. I would recommend anyone here.

Rosie Semingson is a Nurse Practioner and is excellent. She is professional and above all kind and considerate to your needs and concerns. She calls immediately with all test results and I couldn’t be more appreciative. The nursing and all staff is also A-​1… I would highly recommend Rosie and this OBGYN office.

I had to come here for OBGYN and I now feel I need to change my medical group if my insurance allows it. It was that bad. I’ve had more caring and helpful service at the DMV. Expect to wait on hold forever when you call, be passed around when you visit. Communication is unclear if existent.

I’ve been a happy patient here for a couple years. Alice is always great at scheduling my last minute appointments. Everything is always neat clean and organized. The staff is friendly. My doctor Thomas H. is always professional and informative. Thank you health care partners obgyn. — Karen M

If you have to see the doctor, this is your place! I’ve referred many people who agree.
Dr Nguyen is wonderful. Listens to concerns and always has a great recommendation. Barbara Peterman NP is always a great help!
The facility was recently revamped like new again. On the spot Xrays, instant results right down the hall. No more traveling from place to place. The back end staff is compassionate and caring. There is rarely a long wait.
On the con side of things, the front end reception staff, usually, a bit chatty. Topics which would better be had outside of a professional setting, and usually kind of loud.

Love Dr. Ford! He was my CC doctor after I began recovery from my last seizure. He was very helpful in getting me the best options out there when it came to other staff like social work; because there was staff for that. His MA was very nice. The medical receptionist was friendly and always remembered me. Dr. Ford gets a lot of the credit for how far I’ve gotten thus far with my recovery. He got me to all the right people. He was a pleasant person to be around too, he was funny and had great stories!
I hated waiting to be seen though.
