I’ve been going to Hema for 3 years now and just love her work! She made me grow out my eyebrows originally because she said mine were too thin and I reluctantly listened to her and have never gone back! They look better than ever now! She knows what eyebrow shape and thickness goes with each person’s face and she won’t do more than she thinks is necessary unless you specifically ask her to. She always has a little hand mirror handy to show you each step of progress to make sure you are completely satisfied with your eyebrows each time. She creates an individualized and personal experience each time and remembers her regulars. Great lady and great threader!
She was originally on 2nd Street at Vinita’s and has now relocated to Nissi Beauty Salon on Atlantic.

I am so thankful for Unilocal and people that post reviews, thanks to them I found Hema! She is my eyebrow expert, she gives a temple/​eyebrow massage after that is absolutely relaxing ! She was at Vinita’s Beauty & Threading Studio on 2nd street in Long Beach but now is at a new location! Good location and price!

Great brows, amazing brow massage, and awesome price! I followed Hema from Vinitas and I’m so happy I found her! My thick eyebrows look perefect and did I mention the brow massage? It is one if the most relaxing minute ever! Very sweet and you can show her a picture if you want something specific. I walk out paying less than $ 20 for brows, lip + tip. Great price and service.

I have been coming to Hema for facials and eyebrow threading for the past three years, following her from Vinita’s on 2nd to her recent new location. Hema gives wonderful Ayurvedic facial massage, and concludes her eyebrow threading with a brow massage, as well. I always leave her studio glowing and relaxed. Threading is a natural (and in my opinion more precise) alternative to other hair removal processes. It may sound strange, but I really do get complements on my brows from complete strangers since seeing her!
